Who would have thought that a restaurant located in an office building would have these vibes?! Date night without lithe kids, booked a last minute table on a beautiful day and we're still able to sit outside in their patio. Which btw is super cute because they add a lot of greenery and plants and cute umbrellas. It was busy and service was pretty slow but the waitstaff were very friendly. I really loved the arancini. And my husband and I liked our entrees. The chicken was filling enough where I had to box some up. I can't wait to come back! The inside looks equally as nice.

This place is amazing! Even though fully seated, John pulled me up a chair to the bar and made me a spot while introducing me to Jay, who was really great as well. They gave me a beer that was made special for their restaurant that was delicious. I had the wild boar ragu that was perfect Al dente homemade pasta and tasted amazing. They even gave me a complimentary glass of orangechello they made. Incredible. Real hospitality. We're incredibly warm friendly and welcoming. Couldn't recommend more! Not even a block away from the Marriott here.

Food was absolutely amazing! The only complaint is the bus boy! Very annoying to constantly come to the table and ask if we're done eating and we are clearly eating! Grabbing stuff from the table without saying excuse me while we're eating. Literally took all of our waters trying to rush us out because they were busy. Very very unprofessional! The general manager and waitress were very friendly! Waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and we took all of her suggestions!

I love the outdoor ambiance of this restaurant on a nice summer evening. They have a great vibe going on with thoughtful decor and patio furniture. The inside area also looked nice. We had burrata for an appetizer which had tomatoes and arugula as well, with 4 strips of bread. We also had bruschetta which was strange because it was with Giardiniera. I didn't care for it but if you like Giardiniera then you'll probably like it. For dinner I had the fettuccine Alfredo which is served from their cheese wheel. This was one of the better Alfredo's I've had. The portion size was great! I will definitely come back!

The dinner itself was awesome. But I particularly enjoyed the presentation and ambiance. It was busy but didn't feel overcrowded and wasn't too loud. The fettuccine is very rich and decadent! The Parmesan wheel that it's cooked in really ruminates and elevates the dish further. On top of the pasta being freshly made! We also enjoyed the calamari. It was lightly breaded and tasted fresh. The arrabbiata peppers added some nice heat to the dish. Wasn't able to get a picture but the hazelnut gelato was a great way to end the meal! Will definitely come back here.

I love the ambience of this place, it has amazing service, and the food was phenomenal

If you're looking for a vibrant dining experience, this trendy Italian gem is the place to be! The moment you step in, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of authentic Italian flavors that promise to whisk you away. We hit the jackpot with the Owner Mr. Steven slicing the steak & Chef Claudio serving us as he prepares fresh pasta right in a parma wheel. Talk about a personalized touch! With 13 people spread across two tables, I got so caught up in the company that I completely forgot to snap pictures of our mouthwatering dishes! Trust me, it's that good! We had steak, creamy fettucini, sea bass, wedge, caprese, calamari, la Margherita. Don't miss out! We enjoyed our evening here!

They had valet service for $6 and the parking right in front were reserved for the valet. I parked in the parking lot and it was a short walk to the entrance. Had reservations for a Saturday night. We got seated right away. Loved the paintings of herbs all over. Started with a Gamberi E Polenta, was shrimp with polenta. Loved the flavors and creamy polenta. Main entrée was Fettuccine and was tossed in a cheese wheel. It was really quick, but was fun to watch. The dish had peas and meat, which reminds me of a Carbonara dish. Was cheesy. Had a side of broccolini to get more greens. Ended with their banana rum cake for dessert, it was on their special menu and forgot what it was called. Very delicious and was large enough to share for 2 ppl.

The food and service just perfect every time we visit Lucca! Love the wine options as well as their specials

Just walk in and the smell of perfectly cooked food will grab your attention. The service is excellent and the place is vibrant! The manager said they have music in the summer, cigar and whiskey night for the guys, Mother's Day events and more. First time but not my last...I'll be back.

This place was great! The lobster raviolis was good and a huge portion. Loved the burrata and arancini. Service was top notch and the place was modern and clean. Super cool options for kids.

We went to Angel's Envy manhattan night at Lucca last night. We went with our friends, double date night. The four of us started with cocktails, I had the Luccacello, which is a beautifully presented limoncello martini, my girlfriend had a French martini and the guys had the Angel's Envy Manhattan. The four of us shared two starters, the grilled calamari and the beef carpaccio. The grilled calamari was served on a bed of farro and was perfectly grilled. I wish it had four pieces of calamari instead of three so it was easily split, or at least the server informing us there's three pieces and asking if we'd like to add another for a little upcharge. The carpaccio was disappointing to me, though, because they changed the perfection. I loved the previous way it was served with cannellini beans, arugula and parmesan. The newly vamped one was served with mushrooms, just an odd pairing with the rare beef. Lucca missed the mark on this one for me. For dinner, I had the spaghetti carbonara which is always a hit. My husband had the pork chop, which was full of flavor and delicious, my girlfriend had the pink grouper and her fiancé had the veal dish. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their entrées. No dessert for us since we were so full, but our waiter brought over complimentary shots of housemade orangecello. We bought a bottle of Angel's Envy bourbon and they personalized it just for my husband. Fun night! You don't need a special event to dine at Lucca, though. It's one of my favorite Italian restaurants and we dine there often. The food is very good and service is spot on.

It looked harmless and we were mainly going for wine and to catch up with each other so I bought the certificate and off we went. The Den is located inside the Oak Brook Doubletree hotel and there is no indication from outside the hotel where the restaurant is so I punted as far as parking was concerned. Luckily, I picked the correct side of the hotel. At first glance, the inside of the restaurant is a little dated, but it was clean, cozy, and quiet. I was directed to pick any seat I wanted. Looking over the menu there were some affordable starters/small plates, and a decent selection of entrees (@ 5 non beef and 5 beef). The wine list was nothing special either in information or choice. I was going to start with a Pinot Noir, and asked about a particular Wine maker as nothing else was listed on the sheet besides the wine maker, appellation, variety and vintage. I knew that wine maker had several labels of Pinot Noir so I asked the server which they were pouring. He came back and said it wasn't listed on the bottle. I guess I could have asked to see the bottle, but it just seemed like too much work for me too. I went with it and it was fine. Started with a Caesar salad with no croutons. Not only were there no croutons, but the listed "crispy prosciutto" and cheese was missing. Whatever. I was STARVING and ate it without complaint. Next on the list was a cheese plate. The cheese plate was listed as having brie, blue and aged white cheddar, along with grapes, crackers and walnuts. What we got was a young yellow cheddar, some smoked gouda, and boursin cheese spread with crackers and dried cranberries. Again, i was using a gift certificate so I didn't want to make a fuss, but my sister and I brought it up to the server that basically nothing that was described on the plate was actually on the plate. Also mentioned the salad mistake too (might as well go for broke). He apologize and went back to the kitchen and see what was up. When he came back he apologize as he noticed the salad was incorrect but didn't do anything about it, and he also said that there were two different menus going on and the chef was working off a different menu. He then brought out a much bigger plate with a little brie, some blue cheese, what I think was a mild mexican cheese, and something that tasted like minibabybel. Still no cheddar. We ordered more wine, and got some olives and I ordered a rib-eye. The server suggested I get the all-you-can-eat NY strip, (thanks for bringing that up) but I still went with the rib-eye. While only 14 oz, it was decent and bone-in (which was a nice surprise) and I would think I great selling feature. For our third round of drinks, the server suggested a meritage they had. My sister stayed with the cab, but I tried it. It wasn't bad, but it was very warm. When we asked for the check, he brought it out and I noticed it was just under $100. I waited for him to come back and explained I had one of those $50 off it you spend $100 certificates and we would probably need to split another glass of wine. He explained that it would be no problem to just use the certificate now as he had not charged for the last round of drinks as a thank-you. That was really nice of him, but it was really something he should have addressed when he first dropped off the check..." hey folks, sorry for the inconveniences you've experienced. I got you a round of drinks. I hope you'll try us again." Overall, our server was nice, but he lacked presence on the floor. And there were only 5 tables at the most going on. Now I get that this is a hotel venue, so perhaps repeat business isn't a priority, but with better service and some quality control, I could see this place really taking off as an after-work location. As it is now, I would go back if someone else wanted to go, or if I had another gift certificate, but it definitely isn't on my list of "must go back" spots.
