This place is amazing! Even though fully seated, John pulled me up a chair to the bar and made me a spot while introducing me to Jay, who was really great as well. They gave me a beer that was made special for their restaurant that was delicious. I had the wild boar ragu that was perfect Al dente homemade pasta and tasted amazing. They even gave me a complimentary glass of orangechello they made. Incredible. Real hospitality. We're incredibly warm friendly and welcoming. Couldn't recommend more! Not even a block away from the Marriott here.

I love the ambience of this place, it has amazing service, and the food was phenomenal

Food was absolutely amazing! The only complaint is the bus boy! Very annoying to constantly come to the table and ask if we're done eating and we are clearly eating! Grabbing stuff from the table without saying excuse me while we're eating. Literally took all of our waters trying to rush us out because they were busy. Very very unprofessional! The general manager and waitress were very friendly! Waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and we took all of her suggestions!

The dinner itself was awesome. But I particularly enjoyed the presentation and ambiance. It was busy but didn't feel overcrowded and wasn't too loud. The fettuccine is very rich and decadent! The Parmesan wheel that it's cooked in really ruminates and elevates the dish further. On top of the pasta being freshly made! We also enjoyed the calamari. It was lightly breaded and tasted fresh. The arrabbiata peppers added some nice heat to the dish. Wasn't able to get a picture but the hazelnut gelato was a great way to end the meal! Will definitely come back here.

I love the outdoor ambiance of this restaurant on a nice summer evening. They have a great vibe going on with thoughtful decor and patio furniture. The inside area also looked nice. We had burrata for an appetizer which had tomatoes and arugula as well, with 4 strips of bread. We also had bruschetta which was strange because it was with Giardiniera. I didn't care for it but if you like Giardiniera then you'll probably like it. For dinner I had the fettuccine Alfredo which is served from their cheese wheel. This was one of the better Alfredo's I've had. The portion size was great! I will definitely come back!

If you're looking for a vibrant dining experience, this trendy Italian gem is the place to be! The moment you step in, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of authentic Italian flavors that promise to whisk you away. We hit the jackpot with the Owner Mr. Steven slicing the steak & Chef Claudio serving us as he prepares fresh pasta right in a parma wheel. Talk about a personalized touch! With 13 people spread across two tables, I got so caught up in the company that I completely forgot to snap pictures of our mouthwatering dishes! Trust me, it's that good! We had steak, creamy fettucini, sea bass, wedge, caprese, calamari, la Margherita. Don't miss out! We enjoyed our evening here!

Just walk in and the smell of perfectly cooked food will grab your attention. The service is excellent and the place is vibrant! The manager said they have music in the summer, cigar and whiskey night for the guys, Mother's Day events and more. First time but not my last...I'll be back.

They had valet service for $6 and the parking right in front were reserved for the valet. I parked in the parking lot and it was a short walk to the entrance. Had reservations for a Saturday night. We got seated right away. Loved the paintings of herbs all over. Started with a Gamberi E Polenta, was shrimp with polenta. Loved the flavors and creamy polenta. Main entrée was Fettuccine and was tossed in a cheese wheel. It was really quick, but was fun to watch. The dish had peas and meat, which reminds me of a Carbonara dish. Was cheesy. Had a side of broccolini to get more greens. Ended with their banana rum cake for dessert, it was on their special menu and forgot what it was called. Very delicious and was large enough to share for 2 ppl.

This place was great! The lobster raviolis was good and a huge portion. Loved the burrata and arancini. Service was top notch and the place was modern and clean. Super cool options for kids.

The place has a nice ambiance and I had high expectations for Mother's Day Dinner. First of all we waited an hour to be seated we had a reservation but no biggie it's Mother's Day weekend so we were fine. Once seated though here's the experience. Caroline the waitress I believe she's British or Irish absolutely the worst. The attitude she gave us the eye rolling the short answers I could not believe it. I know she was busy but it's unacceptable, again we were nice and kept quiet did not want to spoil our mother's celebration. The food came out cold and not at once, no utensils were given had to ask multiple times for steak knife's. My brother in law paid the bill but did not check. Caroline went ahead and overcharged us by $148!!! I hope all of you check your receipt. The Mother's Day ribeye filet was $52 and 6 of us ordered she charged us $65 a person then one Dish was returned due to being uncooked she double charged it refunded 1 wrote on it manager special instead of refunding both she charged 2 refunded 1. Only nice thing she did was give my mom a small desert for her birthday. We did not order any desserts we were so over this place. It's sad as we do a lot of outings as a family and love to splurge on quality food. Definetly will not be coming back. I had called them today to talk to a manager to refund me what I was overcharged $148! Which includes the tax and tip she charged on the overcharges. Will update the review with a resolution

The space is beautiful, though the tables are... let's just say neighborly. Great if you enjoy bonding with strangers, less great if you like a little elbow room. The menu is interesting and inviting. We started with the parmesan artichokes. Crunchy and satisfying, with nice pieces throughout, but a bit shy on flavor. It felt like it almost got to the party but stopped just outside the door. For mains, everyone genuinely enjoyed their dishes. I had the gnocchi della casa with porcini ragù. The gnocchi were soft, light, and pillowy, though just a touch dense and missing that subtle potato flavor that makes you close your eyes for a second. Not quite at the level of my mom's or grandma's (but let's be honest, nothing ever is). The mushroom sauce was tasty, though it leaned slightly vinegary. The pistachio-crusted whitefish was a standout. Perfectly crisp on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside. Definitely a win. The risotto of the day was creamy and comforting, but it felt like it was missing that little spark, that "something" that takes it from good to memorable. Drinks were a highlight. The Sicilian Negroni and Fields of Tuscany were both well-crafted and delicious. No notes there. For the price, it's a solid spot and worth experiencing at least once. Come for the energy, stay for the drinks, and maybe bring your best "I don't mind sitting close" attitude.

My husband and I went for an early dinner, didn't have reservations, it was just us two. We were told an approx 10 min wait, which was fine. As we waited, we noticed a few empty booths for two in the bar - we asked to be seated, and they said of course. Very pleasant front end staff. Problem began with our phantom server, waited a while til someone approached us. No water, no menus, no server. Finally after almost 20 min, the server appeared, he seemed very frazzled. Spoke quickly. We asked for a menu, water, silverware & napkins. At almost 30 minutes, we finally ordered our entrees. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo, and my husband ordered Arrabbiata Sauce w/spaghetti which came with a small side salad or soup. I chose soup, and my husband had a side salad. And we asked for some bread for the table. We waited another 20 minutes for our salad and soup, and I was given a tsp for the soup, all things considered, it was good. We saw the server twice while we were there, appeared very pre-occupied. The kitchen staff served our pasta meals. My husband said his was good, my Fettuccine Alfredo was also good, but very Al dente. Meantime, still waiting for bread .... All in all, it was a good meal, sometimes servers can make or break it! Posto 31 is located in Lagrange Park which is just slightly outside and west of the city. Their restaurant week deal is $45 per person for dinner and every adult in the party is required to participate. We tried the following: 1) Pork belly with a brown butter sweet potato mash and apple slaw - This was a delicious and refreshing appetizer. The fat isn't excessive and there is a good sear with the pork belly. I think it was different in a sense that it didn't exactly go with the Italian theme. 2) Arancini with chicken, parmesan, mozzarella, and marinara. This is the standard fare and you can't go wrong with this selection. 3) Faroe Island salmon with squash puree and Brussel sprout slaw. The salmon was well executed and I loved how it was paired with the slaw. 4) Arrabbiata with squid ink linguini and jumbo shrimp. This was the star of the night and what drew our attention when we first reviewed the restaurant week menu. It is rare to find squid ink linguini in the city and neighboring suburbs. The portion was huge and the flavors were absolutely delicious. We are already planning a return to order this again. 5) Tiramisu was the standard fare and once again, the portion was huge. We demolished it though. 6) Cookie skillet had a square of chocolate chip cookie topped with candied pretzels, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream. We did not get to try it because our girls just took it to town. So needless to say, it was thoroughly enjoyed. We also ordered the kids' an eight inch pepperoni pizza. It was more than enough for our two girls to share.
