Great service, drinks and atmosphere!!! Smash burgers and street corn are the bomb!! We were here Memorial Day weekend and came back again!

This place serves up food that tastes amazing -- like your abuelita got a culinary degree and decided to make Mexican fusion with smash burgers. I was hyped... until the plate came out looking like it was made for a hobbit's brunch in the Shire. The tacos? Delicious, but gone in two bites. The smash burger? Cute. Like, "aww look at the little baby burger" cute. I felt like I was eating a Happy Meal that forgot to grow up (no fries). If you're into tiny food that tastes amazing, go for it. But personally, I need my meals to feed more than just my taste bud, I need to leave full, not spiritually fulfilled but physically starving. Great food, tiny portions. I won't be back, but I will be thinking about that salsa in my dreams. read more

Decor/service: this place gives a locals vibe instead of a touristy spot which is always good. The service was quick although there was only 2 other tables there. THEY ARE OPEN FOR INDOOR SEATING. Which is not very well explain on there website, on here or on their Facebook. Food: tacos tacos and more tacos. They were def above average. The chicken was cooked and seasoned well and they put the right amount of toppings. Their salsa was good with a nice heat but not overly hot. read more

Not exactly what we were hoping for... Food is nice looking but all around not good. The menu sounds better than the food actually is. Shrimp is disgusting (tastes previously frozen - fishy and mealy), the beans taste directly from a can, zero flavor/seasoning throughout and the overall taste is just off. Great place to go if you are looking for some flavorful ethnic food in the area. We ordered the veggie sandwich to go, was a little bit of a wait (about 15-20) but well worth it. It was absolutely delicious and the salsa, chipotle mayo, and corn salad were all amazing add ons. read more

1. We ate here this past Sunday. The waitress/bartender was delightful. Good service, friendly, smart. 2.My skinny margarita w/ anjeo on the rocks was perfect. 3. COVID-19 measures were followed. 4. We both ordered dishes with "blackened shrimp." That's where everything fell off a cliff. There was nothing blackened about them. They were small, virtually the most colorless shrimp I've ever seen. No tails on. Bland, bland, bland. I think the cook needs some training. I couldn't eat more than a few bites. The veggies were fresh and fine. I RARELY write bad reviews, but unfortunately, this place was only ok. As someone who doesn't eat meat, i was very happy to find that there were multiple vegetarian options on the menu, one of them being the cauliflower tacos. However, the cauliflower tacos had less than one total piece of cauliflower in the taco. This simply was unacceptable, as the cauliflower acts as the "protein" for the taco, but was barely even present, and was not nearly enough to sustain me. I had to finish my friends' rice and beans and chips and salsa even to be somewhat "full". Overall, good drinks and atmosphere, but portions are severely lacking. For $14, i should be receiving more than 3 pieces of cauliflower on a corn tortillas. read more

I wish I could leave 0 stars. The service was horrendous. From start to finish, from checking in to trying to get out, it was *literally* the worst experience all around. Took 45 minutes for our cold tacos to come out- why does a small taco platter take 45 minutes with only one other table in the restaurant? One taco platter was way too spicy (not mentioned on the menu) and someone at the table only had one bite and asked if she could give it back, and apologized. The server said "just because you don't like it doesn't mean I'm taking it off the bill" and swiped the food away. She was rude the entire time, she was very disinterested in working at all, as she was on her cell phone not paying attention to anything we needed the whole time. Then another person at the table had a hard chunk of plastic in her entree. The water jugs had floating bits of residue in them. It ended with another patron asking for the manager, who also seemed to have no interest in making anything right. He did comp the two meals mentioned above, but wow, he literally didn't care at all about anything. Sad place, sad workers- I hope they can turn it around. read more

This place has so much potential. Friendly servers and staff and a good locals feel. Spicy watermelon margarita was awesome and the beer cold. The problem is the food. How do you call that queso?? Was more like cheese soup ... way too runny and no where near "authentic" Mexican (much more TexMex if TexMex had cheese soup). And then the carne asada burrito ... it was all rice, few beans, and even less beef. I'm afraid I can't recommend for anything other then drinks. read more

Went to SIRVEZA for the first time tonight and loved it! The margaritas were delish. Our server was friendly and attentive. I will preface this review with the fact that I understand that beach town restaurants can get slammed during the dinner rush, but that doesn't excuse poor service. Like other reviews noted, the employees are friendly, but the service is SLOW. We received two of our four entrees before the appetizers (which was just chips and queso). My other two friends did not receive their food until maybe 15-20 minutes after the first two entree orders. It was blamed on it being delivered "to the wrong table." Once we eventually received our food, the carne asada brisket quesadilla was actually pretty good. All in all, if you have the patience for molasses service then I'd say it's worth it. We went there for dinner and were quickly greeted and seated. The waiter come over and took our drink order while we reviewed the menu. The menu, where are the dinners? When the waiter came back I asked for a dinner menu. I had it. There were salads, appetizers and and mixed in with the salads were tacos. I asked the waiter about enchiladas, tamales, tortas, fajitas. He remarked that they didn't have those sort of things. Now don't get me wrong, the waiter was very nice and even though we did order drinks, did get them when we told him we were looking for dinners he understood. We left. Chipotle is better. Very limited menu consisting of tacos, quesadillas, and burritos. We had marginal tacos on grocery store quality tortillas covered with shredded red cabbage. If you're intoxicated at the beach, this food can hold you over to see another day. read more

This restaurant is just down the street from my hotel so we decided to give it a try. Very cuter inside although a little noisy due to the bar crowd. I had a peach crush five skinny style-peach vodka, peach purée and club soda. Delicious and refreshing. The taco trifecta -your choice of three tacos-was awesome. I was able to get these in lettuce instead of the normal taco shell. I had prickly pear pork, blackened shrimp and flash fried cauliflower. A crunchy cabbage slaw on top gave them a great crunch. A side of rice or beans or a combination of both is included. I am following Keto right now so left that off my order. Our server was great. She answered all my questions from the ingredients in the cocktail to how the cauliflower was cooked. Very patient and knowledgeable. You can also get the tacos in the form of a salad on a bed of romaine. Lots of keto options. I gave yo say the cauliflower was my favor one! So much flavor! We came here when this place first opened and have been many times since. We actually met Maria, the owner, and her mom and they were born to be in the hospitality business, very friendly, personable and Maria is most definitely a hands on owner, many times when we've been there she's cutting up fresh fruit for the crushes or manning the grill in the kitchen. Their tacos & quesadillas are my favorite - authentic and delicious and generously filled. The corn relish is the only thing I've tried that I wasn't very fond of but that's my fault for having a brain fart and thinking it would be served warm. Maria personifies what Dewey stands for - giving back to the community. On our first meeting she offered to help with our Golden Jubilee event and she participates in a lot of the fundraising events in town. We've always had fast & friendly service no matter what time of day or season. Take my word for it, stop in and check out the crushes & tacos, you can thank me later. read more

Overall, this place was horrific. I'm going to write a few key points. We were excited to try out a new restaurant but we were disappointed at all aspects. 1- The menu was very small. It had little choices for vegetarians and the night we went they were out of shrimp. Meanwhile the menu only had few options and nothing stood out. 2- The food was just plain bad. Our nachos were a little sour and only had plain cheese on them, no onions or other veggies. Our quesadilla came plain when we gave simple instructions to add and take away a few items. The trifecta tacos all tasted the same. 3- One of the worst parts was after the terrible meal they overcharged us. The menu prices and the bill prices did not match up. 4- To be fair the location and style of the place was ok except the bar was a little loud, and the food came promptly. I really hope this restaurant makes some changes, but until then I would recommend going next store to woodys. read more

The Peach Crush is what brought us in, but the food is what kept us there laughing with the bartenders, the cooks, the other guests, and the owner. Service was very below average, we were told an inaccurate wait time, were seated incorrectly and asked to get up and wait some more, finally sat with lack of service, aka no silverware, napkins no water, no drinks.... we wanted to get our orders in ASAP, but then they brought everything out all at once, still inaccurately. Hands down the best chill bar in Dewey! The staff and owner are absolutely incredible and made the end to our busy weekend so worth the trip!
