Dewey's is my favorite pizza place in Cincinnati! Their salads are always delicious. Love that you can order a pizza half and half so that you can get what you really want to eat. We usually eat the Bronx Bomber pizza and the grape walnut salad. Their seasonal taco salad pizza has been my favorite so far- so if that happens to be on the menu- highly recommend it. read more

Pizza is excellent, best we have found in Cincinnati. They have all the standard fare plus some creative combos which are super tasty. We loved the green lantern minus the mushrooms. They keep the soft drinks flowing and the service coming. They even gave us extra salad dressing just to dip our pizza crust into without our asking. Great, great service! Up until we moved 3 years ago, Dewey's was probably our favorite pizza place. Tonight we were back in the area and decided to go back. To our disappointment, standards have changed. The walnut and grape salad was still wonderful. But we tried a new pizza, Blue Ribbon, and it fell way below expectations. Although the crust was still crisp and tasty, the pizza had a hugely noticeable absence of advertised toppings. The toppings also extended only to about 1.5 inches from the edge. So our 11 inch pizza was effectively reduced to an 8 inch, costing $16. We would have mentioned this to the servers, but they stopped asking just after delivering the pizza. All in all, the experience was just plain disappointing. read more

Met some friends for lunch. While I sat at the bar waiting on them, I watched the bartender, Sam. She not only took care of the bar, but was helping in the dining room and assisting fellow servers. The pizza was great and the service fast as usual. My kid loves to watch the people making pizzas through the window to the kitchen. We could have saved $28 on movie tickets just by taking her there instead. I think she almost considers the pizza makers like rock stars and gets a huge kick when they wave hi or throw flour at the window. One even played tic tax toe with her on the window! This is probably the best pizza joint for teams, birthdays, or really for any function with a lot of people. The pizzas are large with tangy sauce and slightly burnt crust and the service is great. I came here with a group of 9 people and they had us ordering within twenty minutes on Friday night. 100% would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good red pie. read more

I have been eating at Dewey's for years and have had the opportunity to dine at several locations in the greater Cincinnati area as well as other cities and have found that the service across the board is excellent, the food is always spot on and the facility is always clean. This is by far my favorite location over all though because of the staff who are the most attentive and well trained in my opinion. They always go above and beyond and make my visits some of the best in the food service industry that I have ever had. This location can get very busy during typical rush times but they get people in and out in a timely manner without feeling rushed. To be honest the reason it usually takes a long time is because patrons are usually talking and enjoying themselves because it is such a great atmosphere. Everything on the menu is amazing, from the salads to the desserts. My only complaint is that the Tito isn't a permanent fixture on the menu. read more

Pizza is not a favorite of mine, unlike my husband the three sons that could eat it for every meal. Dewey's changed my perspective on pizza. They have the best tasting crusting, quality ingredients, and one of my favorite foods. In addition to the food I love that they change their beer and wines throughout the year, always something new to experience. Great food, great drink and they top it off with some of the very best service we ever receive. The entire staff takes ownership of serving the customer regardless of what is needed. There is never an attitude of that is not my table, they make everyone feel special. This is key to us returning again and again. read more

Frustrated that website says they accept reservations but when I called they wouldn't take one. The lady said if there wasn't a wait when we arrived we could be seated right away (duh), otherwise we would have to wait. Aside from that, awesome pizza and salads. Deweys pizza is the best pizza in Cincinnati. Its kinda pricey compared to pizza in other areas of the us that are far superior. I would eat there more often but its expensive for pizza. The crust is the best part, the sauce is good. Ingredients fresh. It's better than donatos, but factoring the price difference. I tend to eat donatos instead. read more

Having to strictly monitor my calories meant no pizza, but I had a wonderful salad. They gave me a calorie sheet when my phone died and were attentive to my soda addiction (!) The salad was good, but hard to get wrong. What made my meal was the fantastic customer service. They went all out. I paid attention as I was dining with well tipping regulars but everyone was treated wonderfully. Kudos! I made certain to let the manager know just how good the service was. Great atmosphere, service and food! Came in on a busy Friday night and was acknowledged as soon as we came in and seated relatively quickly. From there our waiter was very personable and sweet. Our drink was never empty. I have to say whenever ANYONE and I do mean anyone of the workers walked by a table with a drink getting low, they would refill it...even if it wasn't their table! Simply the BEST! The "team approach" to service is amazing. Every staff member is in charge of your service. You never have to wait on refills, no problem lingers, speed is the result - yet no rushed feeling. It is a model all casual dining spots should strongly consider. 99% of Yelp negative posts would disappear! Came in tonight after taking the day off to paint bedrooms, so we probably looked like thugs. Ordered a half and half pizza and with the large crowd apparently there was a misunderstanding with the order. Was very graciously and promptly fixed to our satisfaction and WAY beyond. Since I am a 50+ marketing/customer service consultant, I cannot figure out why restaurants fail to understand the payback of such consistent, high quality service. I think I will start sending my clients to Dewey's with the sole intention of learning from a great role model for the way things should be done. read more

We've had good experiences with Dewey's on prior visits but this one was horrible. We ordered 2 pizzas for carry-out. We arrived home, dished up the slices, and the first bite was awful. The crust was burnt (or maybe placed in an oven that needed to be cleaned) and was inedible. Fortunately the other pizza was ok so we got by. Returning it wasn't a practical option with carry out but if we had been dining in and they gave us this pizza it would have been sent back. read more

We have been STRONG Dewey's pizza fan's for years! Up until this visit, considered it a family friendly business, with an interest in clients, return business, and always putting the customer first, with thought to a quality product. I am happy to say, "thank you" Dewey's, you have proven my previous beliefs in your company wrong. Received incorrect meal, Waited 25 minutes to have missing ingredients delivered to my table. Was offered to have remade AFTER 25 minutes had passed. Was then offered to have correct product made to "take home" after now 40 minutes. STARVED FAMILY by this point. Was not offered any discount or consideration. At first, was told they would do nothing, and if I did not want come back, that was my decision! (Great way to solicit return business). In addition, was only offered very small gift card, after getting very upset about how we were treated, quality of meal, and the fact that assistant managers were unprofessional in their comments.
