Delicious! Price isn't terrible but, I guess you could consider it "bougie pizza". For me, I believe the crust makes the pizza and Dewey's has amazing pizza crust with always fresh toppings. Deweys is always my go to pizza. My favorite, Socrates revenge is never disappointing. I would rather pay the price for theirs than one of the cheaper pizza places. I had been hardcore craving a calzone from Dewey's for awhile and finally indulged. For me, The calzones and pizzas are all good, but the house-made salad dressings are to kill for (whether on a salad or used as a dipper). When it comes to Pizza's, the Ryan's Inferno pizza is my favorite. This weekend, though, I really wanted a calzone. The fact that you can get goat cheese in your calzone is really the best thing ever. Honestly, there are few ways to go wrong. The calzones are huge and you can easily make two+ meals from the calzone (or just hate yourself after one meal!). This review was written from a carry-out experience, but I'm sure I'll stop by this location after COVID is all over. We love Dewey's! The pizza is always piping hot and full of toppings! I love that they have a 1/2 baked option for to go owhere they cook the crust and you finish it in your oven at home. Quick trip to Cincy with my mom and decided to stop for lunch. Pulled up my handy Yelp app and scratched all "chains" in search of something different. Up pops Dewey's. We gave it a shot. So so so happy we did. Amazing service from jump. Server took the time to explain the red and white pizzas, the seasonal selections (one pizza and one salad), and was super friendly. He explained that Dewey's is actually technically a chain... But by this point I didn't care. I was so in to the descriptions of the unique pizzas that it was hard to narrow it down to one half and half for mom and me. We decided to do one half "red" -- the Green Lantern -- and one half "white" -- Socrates' Revenge. Green Lantern goodness: red sauce, mozz, minced garlic, goat cheese, artichokes, pesto. Yum. Socrates' Revenge: olive oil, minced garlic, mozz-fontina blend, spinach, black olives, green olives, feta, red onion, tomatoes. SO good. Usually the crust is a "throw away" for me ... But not at Dewey's. They make their dough from scratch and it shows. Light and almost buttery -- I could not get enough. Wow. Not to be forgotten, we split the Grape Walnut salad -- and it was super tasty. Rumor has it that the calzones are also amazing here... On my list to try. Pizza was amazing but the service was not great. My husband and I went for a late lunch and our server barely paid attention to us. She even walked right by a woman who spilled her drink all over herself twice and didn't offer any assistance. We received no refills on our drinks. I asked for ranch and she never brought it and I never even saw her to ask for it until I was almost done eating. She purposely would walk around her tables. She also dropped the check off before I even finished eating and didn't ask if we needed anything else and walked away before we could even say anything. She just dropped and walked. We had to ask someone else for refills and I had to ask someone else for boxes for our left overs. Just not a great experience as far as service goes but the food was good read more

One of the best pizza places around! I love Deweys they have very unique pizzas and the staff is super nice. You can always split pizzas in half if who you're with wants something else which is what I did. They have the best dough and the ingredients are always fresh and tasty. This is our go to place for a good salad and pizza. However, our recent visit was a disappointment. Our service and surrounding were fine. The food was not. Our salads were far from usual, portions were cut and ingredients were sparse. Our large pizza with 17" crust was 3 to 4" of just crust around the edges. Shrinking the size of the actual pie to at best a medium. I don't mind paying more but the value was missing. read more

I love Dewey's Pizza, I do, but on this night it wasn't it's best. The family was craving it, and it had been awhile so I said I was in. I was just getting 1 pizza, the 17 inch. I called and said I was placing a to go order, I was told it would take 60 to 75 minutes. I paused, gave it a thought and agreed. At about the 50 minute mark I started to take the 7 minute drive. I pulled in, text that I was there and within 5 minutes I had my pizza. When I took the box I felt no warmth, either it had just got out and hadn't had time to seap through the box or it's been done awhile. Sadly it was the latter. Not even warm. I kept it, I had already waited way to long and the fam was hungry. It tasted great at least, but it was ice cold. Lesson learned. read more

The thing I love most about Dewey's is their service. All of their locations believe in all hands on deck with service. Anytime any server walks by they check on you. Anyone can take your order, bring your food or check. I've never had a bad experience there. Tonight we split the candied walnut & grape salad. Always one of my favorites. Oh, the love I have for Dewey's Pizza. This is my absolute favorite pizza place. I get the peppercorn ranch salad and switch between the Ryan's inferno and classic pepperoni pizza. Dewey's has amazing crust on their pizzas. The salads are huge, too! If you're looking for a great pizza place that's much better than your average place, I strongly recommend this place. The takeout service is horrible. Ordered one calzone and a coke. They said 20 minutes. Fine. After doing the notification by text in the parking lot. Waited 40 minutes while others (all of them) were served their much larger orders. All arrived after we did. FinAlly my calzone arrived - no coke. Server went back into the restaurant for another 10 minutes then brought the coke. The best part is no napkins, no fork, no knife. For a calzone? I informed the server and she ask me if I wanted her to go back and get them. I said no as it was clear she really didn't want to. She could have just said oops and got them. On the way home with soon to be cold calzone, I called the manager only to make him aware of the service. He ask me if there was anything they could do. The atmosphere: This was my first experience with Dewey's so I cannot compare it to any other location. This location has a very hip industrial style feel. It is fairly simply decorated and incredibly clean. There is a bar with a good looking selection of craft beers, which I did not partake of this time. It is there but not the centerpiece of the establishment. It is certainly not a detriment to bringing children in with you. The staff: super friendly and attentive. The service: From the very first interaction we were treated like honoured guests. The manager took a moment after she seated us to explain the menu since it was our first visit. Our server was amazing. He took several minutes talking to us about his favorites and even gave us an idea of things to come including a fall salad that made my mouth water in anticipation of cooler weather. The entire experience made us feel special, even courted. They went out of the way to welcome us and make us feel excited to come back. The service was simply wonderful. The food: the food, the food, the glorious food...honestly this was probably the best pizza I have ever eaten. The salad was awesome. I have found my new favorite salad place. All of the ingredients for both salad and pizza were obviously fresh. You can watch them make your pizza through glass. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they have gluten free crust so our daughter will be able to have pizza instead of being stuck with a salad. The specialty pizzas all look delicious. Personally I tried Socrates revenge. It was delicious blend of white sauce, cheeses, green and black olives, tomato, onion, spinach, and feta cheese. The toppings were so well blended that each bite had a gracious amount of everything. The crust was chewey and delicious all on it's own with just enough to carry the flavours and not to much to make it too much dough. The flavours exploded beautifully in your mouth. It was a delight. My salad was a strawberry macadamia nut affair. The nuts were perfectly toasted, the spring mixed greens were fresh, the strawberries were tart and wonderful, the dressing was fresh made in store and the sprinkling of bleu cheese added the perfect creaminess. Took my family to celebrate a graduation event. Arrived a 9:20pm with the restaurant closing at 10:00pm. There were only two other tables occupied in the place and it took 10 minutes to get seated. The waitress was notably annoyed that we came in by her body language. I asked for a drink menu and she slung it across the table. When our drinks arrived she went around the table slamming them down. Finally I asked what time do you close? Waitresses responded 10, I responded "is it 10?". I'm usually a big fan of Dewey's the food is great and a fair price. The place is very small though and there's very limited waiting area. I don't think I've ever been without at least 20 min wait. The last time I went though on Saturday night the service was VERY slow. I think it was about 30 minutes before we even got our order in. It wasn't even that crowded because it was around 7:45pm. One of my friends was trying to get the attention of a waiter and he would not come over and ask how everything was or even make eye contact. After we ate and waited for our check it took a long time as well. We were there in total about 2 hours just from the service. I will say the food was very good though. We always love our visits to Deweys in Crestview Hills. The best pizza salads and service that we have found.

Dewey's never lets me down. For the pizza that is. The service is so-so at both locations I've been to. But I love that you can do half and half orders. They will automatically put lemon in your soda without asking, so you may want to curb that from the get-go if you are anti-lemon like me. The seating is good, the lighting not so much. If you sit at a booth, someone has designed the table lamps so the bare bulb is right at eye level. Caution: may cause temporary blindness. Moving on. The pizza is delicious. My fav is the white sauce with pesto, kalamata olives and smoked cheddar. It's a party in my tummy every time. If you are extra hungry start with a salad, they are delicious too. What a great Pizza place!! Went here for a late lunch with a few coworkers and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food AND service!! I LOVE that our server mentioned I could have my pizza half and half as soon as he knew this was my first visit. The calzones looked great and that's what both of my coworkers had but I went with a pizza. The special for the month was a taco pizza so I had half that, half BBQ chicken... They were both SO good I can't say which I liked more! I had iced tea with my pizza, it was also great! Not only our server did a great job of keeping all of our drinks full but so did the rest of the waiters.
