We had excellent service here! Several wait staff members refilled drinks and checked on us. All were polite and eager to fulfill our requests. We sat outside where there was a nice view of the pond. (Sun was in our eyes in the evening so sit strategically). You are allowed to swap out toppings and there are dairy free and gluten free options! The crust on the gluten free pizza was very tough, and veggies on both pizzas were rather underbaked. In general however we did enjoy the pizzas. read more

Another gem we found while staying at great wolf lodge. The fun started with the window into the kitchen where the kids got to watch someone toss dough into the air. We were seated quickly and got drinks right away. The server was able to recommend some great pizza and salads. The kids got the plain cheese and the adults shared the Edgar Allen Poe. This Dewey's was just newly remodeled and it's a great place to grab a pizza. The interior is spacious with plenty of seating, including a bar space and covered patio outside.. The pizzas are freshly made and plentiful with toppings. They have specialty flavors or you can create your own. They are a bit pricey, but you get a good quality pizza in exchange. Their salads are also fantastic. They're proof that salads don't need a lot of toppings to taste good. The ranch and balsamic dressings are both worth trying. read more

Every time I come into town to Cincinnati the first place I want to go is Dewey's pizza! The food is so good and the ingredients are fresh. My favorite location is Harper because the staff is super friendly and attentive.! I swear the pizza is better at this location too if there's more toppings on it. It will be my go to place! Been coming for 15 years now. Every time I come, the service pizza and service is top-notch. This time I changed my order late in the game and the manager, Gage, made the change happen with a smile. The order change was actually cheaper and I was happy to give the very nice female bartender (forgot her name, sorry) the difference. Food was quick, attentive staff mostly, i must say its casual at best -even their poor excuses are a casual approach like i sat waiting for a bill to pay during lunch hour ... people literally avoided coming over or to even check on the table, and when i finally got service ? It was after i literally walked to the carry out side of the pizzaria and encountered the same "manager" who ignored me and gave a poor excuse to not assist me sooner ... Whenever we want pizza, Dewey's is our go to restaurant. The pizza is thin crust and they have a number of traditional and whimsical choices. My wife and I always split a salad and order the Porkey Figgy pizza. It is a delicious sweet and savory pizza that we love! Generally, if you get to Dewey's around opening you'll have no problem with seating. Later in the evening, this restaurant is so popular it can be crowded. Frequently we stop and pick up a salad from Deweys to go with our fried popcorn shrimp dinner at home- More and more we notice the quality is horrendous. We split the salad, as it is large, so mostly core white Romaine lettuce, some red onion, maybe 1/3 of a cup diced tomatoes and a sprinkle of shaved parmesan. It does come with a tiny cup of good dressing and a tiny cup of bacon- (we get those on the side) Tonight, after picking out core - I decided to post- $11.25 - while we realize someone has to prep it, slice and dice - Way overpriced for white lettuce and core. We do like their pizza but whats the deal with using core and all white lettuce? Romaine has some green - we had 1 bite size piece of green lettuce. Add Deweys to places we will no longer frequent- more and more as quality slides in restaurants - we find we dine out less. LOVE LOVE LOVE the Porky Fig! I cannot say enough good things about it. Order this, seriously. This is my second time having it, & when I tell you I thought about this pizza off & on for the year in between visits (I live in FL), I am not kidding. This pizza fixed my bleu cheese/gorgonzola aversion. Delicious. Sgt Peppers was very good too! We added a little more hot honey, but other than it was perfect. Ordered online & then picked up in the car, so can't speak to ambiance/interior. Kind of a long wait (1hr 15mins), but we did order during a Saturday night at around 6pm, so that's kind of on us. Pickup was quick & easy when we got there! Overall this place is more pricey than what I am used to (I'm from out of state though so maybe it's normal here?) but very good. Very tasty. We went here last night with some friends who live in the area. I feel like most pizza places don't do this but they allow you to do half and half pizzas (ie, different toppings on each side). We got two specialty pizzas but technically four, since we did two half and half pizzas. The best one was definitely the fig jam one but everything we had was delicious. We also shared a Caesars salad and their other one, with bacon, and both of those were great too. Overall would definitely come back here when in the area. read more

I hate to write a negative review for this location but the way we were treated was absolutely ridiculous. It was like pulling teeth with the ladies in charge of takeout. They had a really bad/rude attitude and when we asked for red pepper and cheese she brought two of each for a $100 dollar order! Very disappointed. This location recently "upgraded" the ovens to a conveyor style oven. Ever since, I have not been able to get a properly cooked large pizza from here. The pizzas come out pale, with a layer of undercooked dough. We've had this experience multiple times and the managers say nothing can be done as the ovens do not allow the pizzas to be cooked slightly longer. The staff is good. The environment is clean but very loud with little sound dampening. Sadly, while we used to enjoy the food, these new ovens are going to keep us from coming back. read more

We always have a great experience at Dewey's Pizza. We ordered for pick up on a Wednesday night around 7 and our food was ready in about thirty minutes. We ordered two large pizzas, pepperoni and Edgar Allen Poe. The worker who brought out our food to the curb, Ronan, was very friendly and kind. The pizza tasted very fresh and were both delicious. Overall, Dewey's offers deluxe and delicious pizzas and has a great wait staff. We plan to return soon! read more

Dewey's is our local pizza shop. We go almost weekly and love the service and atmosphere. This Dewey's is kid friendly and our kids especially enjoy watching the pizza being made. I love how Dewey's allows customers to customize pizzas. The pizza tastes california style to me. I don't recommend getting just a cheese but instead go heavy on the toppings. Try the Socrates' Revenge with pesto instead of olive oil as the base and thank me later! I also recommend the Tito Santana (seasonal) vegetarian version. read more

We've had pizza on Friday night for more than a decade. It's a thing now. Either home-made, restaurant, or carry-out, and this Friday it was time to do the carry-out version of the tradition. So went to order from two of my new go-to pizza joints -- but no go! One didn't have online ordering AND didn't even have a phone ordering option (what?!!) and the other was having a "pizza chef staffing issue" and it would take 2 hours to get my pizza. Which is a long way of saying I discovered Dewey's pizza and I now have a new go-to take out pizza place! I ordered an 11 inch pepperoni pizza and an 11 inch BYO with sausage, kalamata and mushroom. Both were delicious! The sauce was nicely spicy (husband said "tastes like homemade") and the crust was nicely chewy and good flavor. I would have wished for a better quality sausage and even though the sauce was fabulous I wish the online ordering system allowed a "easy on the sauce" option. But that aside, I was very happy! Ordering online on my phone was easy, pick-up was easy and facilitated by a polite and quick employee. Lots of parking. The restaurant itself was crowded with families, so other folks are obviously enjoying the fare. Dewey's will definitely be on my list of carry-out, go-to pizza joints from now on. read more

I enjoy my trips back to Cincinnati. Friends, places and the good food!! As someone who is originally from the Chicago land area, I like my pizza. Dewey's does an excellent job on theirs. The gluten free crust was awesome and there was plenty of toppings on each slice! Everyone had leftovers and was excited for them at their next meal!! DAMN! That was some tasty pizza! We're still kinda new to the area, so our first visit and we hadn't heard of it. When we drove up, we should have guessed it is was awesome as there had to be 10 cars doing carry out. One unique feature - all pizzas are made 1/2 and 1/2. So, one 1/2 has x ingredients and the other has y ingredients, so 2 pizzas in 1. What a great idea. Service was great - we will be back. And soon. read more

First time back since they did their renovations. As always the service & food was off the charts! I must admit for the money Dewey's is the best pie in town! They certainly don't skimp on the toppings for you pie. Something other pizza places could take note of!! I love their house salad with Chicken & the balsamic vinaigrette they use. I get extra dressing & tip my crust in that, taste sensation!! They really did a nice job on the renovations & opened up to use a lot of what was dead space. Music was spot on as always. Very good upscale pizza parlor that is good for everyone (and it is popular). Pizzas are available in traditional flavors/build your own but branch out and try some of their specialties. Since you can make any pizza a half-n-half, we ate the Green Hornet and Wild Mushroom. Both are recommended. The pizza kitchen is behind glass and open to view. You can watch them throw and make pizzas and this entertains many a waiting eater. (If you get too close to the glass flour flies your direction.) We also shared the spice pecan kale salad. Fresh and excellent. The regular size was ample for all 3 of us. There is a full bar. I ordered off the craft beer menu, a Mt Caramel (local), and was pleased. Excellent staff. They all work as a team. My wife and daughter made a game of seeing how much root beer they had to drink before a staff member would refill their glass. Glasses never fell below half full. read more

Management be customer centric!! We ordered over $200 worth of pizzas and salads. Our waiter said you wouldn't cook some of the pizzas that we wanted well done on the crust. I just moved to the area from out of state. As a former New Yorker I think I know my pizza. After reading that this was more of an upscale pizzeria I thought I'd try it out despite the fact that it is a chain and I usually will not eat "chain pizza". Well I walked in and young lady proceeded to Immediately try to take my order which was admirable but I wanted the opportunity to look at a menu first so I asked her as I had never been there and within a few moments people started coming in behind me. It was a group of 17 people who didn't even have the decency to call ahead so that they can prepare tables for them. The hostess went ahead of course to get their table set up going and I'm watching this because I only needed a minute or two really to look at the menu and there's like six people which meant almost everybody that was working there are putting together these tables. I continue to look in that direction several people Looked at me and nobody came back anytime soon to take my order. After a while that young woman who is going to help me initially came back and she doesn't immediately go to help me but then I guess she realized that I hadn't been taken care of because she said you put your order in right I said no,nobody has come here to take my order, she made a comment about well I guess if you were looking at your menu they probably thought you hadn't made a decision yet which I looked at my menu for a total of two minutes and then continued to look in her direction. Well then she said some thing about she saw me talking to somebody and assumed they were taking my order. Well guess what I didn't speak to anybody at all while I was standing there. One of my pet peeves especially for someone in the service industry is not taking ownership when they don't handle something or someone properly. As soon as she realized I hadn't been taken care of, just say oh I'm so sorry and proceed to take my order, don't make excuses. The pizza, the Bronx Bomber was very disappointing. I was planning to order more than the pizza but after waiting I chose not too. This is a fantastic place to go to eat. Gourmet style pizza and craft beer. The menu is full of different pizza combinations and you can also create your own. The beer menu is full of craft beer and domestic. They also offer a wine menu. They do have a bar area as soon as you walk in and they do have a to go station for people that they want take out. The wait time varies depending on the time of day. I went around 7PM on a Saturday and had a 20 min wait for 4 people. The only thing just as good or better than the pizza is the service. Everyone team services the tables and it leaves you without having to ever ask for anything. This is a very rare thing for me to get in a restaurant. For a first time experience, this was amazing and i will definitely be back. read more

We've always enjoyed the food from Dewey's. My only complaint is that whenever I order a calzone, they don't provide enough sauce to dip the calzone into it. The container that the sauce comes in is always filled half way and never filled to the top. Their calzones are big as it is, yet we get more sauce from LaRosa's and their calzones are smaller than Dewey's. Note, I'm not one who goes heavy with dipping the sauce, just for reason being that there's never enough sauce provided, and usually I can only eat half a calzone for a meal and save the rest for later. My order last night, I only ate half my calzone and my sauce was almost gone. I feel like that for what we're paying for a calzone, we should be provided a full container of sauce and not half. read more
