Great place to eat, 13 of us from San Antonio came to Moab for a running event and I noticed Dewey's while out walking. I suggested it to the group and they accommodated us all that evening. The food was great along with the service. A couple days later on Sunday Night a few of us were hungry and found that quite a few places in town were closed. We called Dewey's and they said, "Sure come on down". As we walked in, we did notice it was close to closing but the again accommodated us and actually stayed open for us with no pressure on leaving. I've been here three times now while in Moab and have always sat at the bar. Service has always been top notch and they have a good selection of local beers on tap. My absolute favorite is the Cuban sandwich. It is absolutely delicious. French dip and wings are solid choices as well. I've been here with three different people who have always left just as happy as me. It's nice inside but you can comfortably come in your dirty outdoor clothes after a long day in the sun and fit right in. Worth the visit you won't regret it. read more

What a great place with a fine supper menu. Price point is a good value. Lots of $12 to $20 choices. I enjoy sitting at the bar and chatting with the Fabulous Bartender Megan. Went Friday night and sat on the bar side . Had a few drinks with the wife and order Chimichurri Steak. Excellent steak. Service was great.

What a find in Moab. Usually Brewery food is hit or miss but Dewey's is amazing. The steak served on the linguine Alfredo was one of the best my daughter had ever had, juicy and perfectly cooked medium. My meatloaf was outstanding, served with great mashed potatoes and crips vegetables. Home made smoked salmon was devoured with little conversation. Topped off by a delicious local Hazy Ipa we left very satisfied. Service was also top notch, not usual in a touristy town like Moab. We shall return! read more

Hubs had the pastrami burger, said it was OK. Fries were a bit mushy, not crispy enough. I made the mistake of ordering shrimp fajitas when I should've just had a burger. I'm not sure what the specialty is here but fajitas isn't it. There's nothing particularly on the menu that stands out. I feel you wouldn't be missing out on anything if you skipped this place altogether. read more

A little loud, but I guess they warned me about it in their Yelp posting. Just looking to grab some apps and have a beer and a glass of wine. Waiter was attentive and our nachos and wings were delivered quickly. Only issue I have is that throughout our meal, their bus lady rolled her cart through the dinning room, collecting dishes from the tables. I know I sound picky, but come on, have your bus folks retrieve the dishes quickly, by hand without having us all see the soiled dishes in the blue tub rolling right by (or sometimes parking near) our table. Gack!!! . Anyway, beer selection was good as was the food. Eliminate the bus service and this jumps up a star or two. read more

Service was fabulous and food was even better! The bartender at woodys recommended coming here and I'm so glad we did. We got the chicken wings (10 per order, tossed in their Chimichurri sauce - try it, it's AMAZING!!!), nachos (just ok) and the shrimp fajita salad (wonderful). I've been coming to deweys since they first opened and Ive always been impressed with the proffesionalism and atmosphere. I fly in from wisconsin twice a year just to eat here. Terrible experience, unacceptable service... All three of my friends received and had more than enough time to eat their meals before I even received mine. Our first waiter disappeared and when I asked another one where my food was, he disappeared too. Then a third waiter, a man named Tom G, came and began making snide comments about my friends and me. He said to them, "You guys are bad friends for eating without him," and when he noticed that I was unhappy, he pointed at me and sarcastically said, "He's mad isn't he." Anyone who has ever traveled a long distance on a trip to a new place for the first time knows that the last thing they want is to be treated this way while they're eating their first proper meal of the day. The food by the way was very mediocre as well, considering the price we paid for it. And after putting us through this fiasco of a dining experience, Tom suddenly decided to be considerate enough to give us a whopping 10% discount. Unlike her employee however, the manager was very understanding, and compensated me in full for the meal I had ordered, aside from the beer. In addition, she gave me a slice of apple pie on the house, and let us know that she "would fire Tom, but he's quitting anyway." If you are a restaurant owner in the Moab area, please do not hire this guy to be your new waiter. I've never had to complain to a restaurant manager and I hope to never have to do so ever again. read more

The problem was with our service. Our server made things so uncomfortable. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and he had 3 total tables to serve when we were there so it's not like he was stressed from a busy night. We had inquired if our kids meals each came with a drink which is standard at some restaurants. Not guaranteed but certainly a legitimate question. He said no the kids meals do not come with a drink but was disgusted with the question. We are not confrontational so honestly it made us embarrassed that we even asked. I sort of tried to explain why we asked with some light hearted humor and he just stares and says nothing then asks if we want juice for the kids or not. At that point we didn't think much of it and were feeling a little embarrassed like we may have done something wrong by asking if kids meals came with a drink. Then he comes back to take our orders and my wife orders a sandwich so he asks if she wants fries or onion rings. A lot of times servers will ask if you want something and later you'll find out that you missed it on the menu that there's an up charge for any sides other than fries... so my wife asks if the onion rings are extra and he literally scoffs at her again with disgust. It was really uncomfortable at this point. To make it more awkward, the restaurant is quiet since nobody is in there other than a few tables so it was extremely loud and in our face. My wife is a super shy and quiet person so she's not someone to elicit this from people in any setting-especially with a server. We continue to say please and thank you and just attempt to avoid any confrontation with our server who we feel is basically bullying us for no reason other than asking two price related questions. We didn't "punish" him with a small tip and are not the type of people to complain or even talk with a manager. We just take what we get and treat people with respect. However, it was uncalled for and completely awkward and uncomfortable which totally ruined the dinner. Our two girls were starting to get louder towards the end so we quickly left before getting another lashing from the server. Pretty big disappointment and I've never given a poor review until now but I feel this is warranted. read more

Fantastic lunch spot right in the middle of Moab! Our hotel was right across the street so we walked over. Being that it's December there isn't much of a crowd anywhere so we were greeted and seated immediately. The decor is nice, kind of industrial but still comfy and casual. Our server was great, he checked in several times and provided great service. Some might find this place a little overpriced but this is a tourist town so it is expected. And I think the tasty food was worth it. As for the food, it was awesome! My son got a cheese quesadilla from the kids menu. The portion size was a little small, good for a 5-6 year old but too little for an 8 year old boy. But he loved it and devoured it in 5 minutes. And then he helped me finish my very generous helping of onion rings. My boyfriend had the Blackened Bleu burger. It was super tasty with a real kick of spice and heat. His only complaint was that the burger patty was over cooked, as in well done. Had it been a nice medium the burger would've been phenomenal. We had to take away one star for that. I had the pastrami melt which was so yummy! The mushrooms didn't do much for me but the roasted red peppers were sweet and delicious. They really added something special to an otherwise regular pastrami sandwich. And for dessert we all shared a brownie sundae. It was a nice size portion, just enough for the 3 of us to end our meal with a few sweet bites. I really liked that the brownie wasn't too sweet, but it was more of a cakey brownie rather than fudgy. Overall great food! We visit Moab every year and we will definitely be back here for lunch or dinner! read more
