My refrigerator suddenly stopped working..(the fan worked and light on but NOT cold)...on Christmas Eve., while I was rushing through Pie-Baking to get to Family Party. Of course I was late, because I had to move all perishables into my Tiny Apt. Fridge that I had in the garage. I made it to the party in time to serve the pie! The next morning, I needed ice foe the old fridge. It was absolutely close to impossible to find ice before 8:00a.m.(I work nights in a Hosp.)- and I was also trying to save the less perishables.... Oh, and I had recently filled the freezer with pizzas on 1/2 sale....guess what I did all X-mas morning? Bake up the 9 Pizzas, etc., to avoid LOSS....I ate "leftover pizza" and salad for a long time. Two days later(Christmas weekend), Nick made a house call @10 a.m.and saved the day!! He was able to temporarily connect the ailing compressor motor, giving me time to order a new Appliance. I so appreciate his availablility, because Mike's said they were busy for two weeks, and other places also said "not until January"!!! Nick is my #1 person to call, and I feel very thankful to have met him. Yesterday, DG Tech's owner Nick came over to fix my leaking refrigerator. I was super frastrated and irrotated, but Nick was able to handle everything in a super fast and professional manner. He had to replace the defrost thermostat (I made a picture). So after everything was taken care of and I cooled off from my intence day ( Everything had to go wrong that day!!) i decided to write a review for Nick. He deserves it! Good work ethics, good manners, good comunication skill, great work! I recommend him and want to say that I have had many bad experiances with contractora fixing my washer dryer and Plumbing and other stuff before and they all seem to be very angry on their life. I hired DG Tech Appliance Repair for my GE refrigerator and microwave repair. I had no idea what was wrong with my fridge, but understood that it wasn't functioning correctly and needed to be repaired immediately before the freshly bought groceries started to spoil. DG Tech Appliance Repair are very reliable, responsive, and transparent on pricing and required work. I first worked with Nick when my refrigerator's compressor had failed. I was unaware of the problem, but Nick quickly diagnosed it and made the proper recommendation for us to get a new refrigerator as a fix wasn't the best long term option. I appreciated his honesty and quick diagnosis on the refrigerator. I had a broken dryer on a Sunday, and he came to my house very promptly, disassembled and found the broken parts. I had Nick come out yesterday because my microwave just quit on me. You dont realise how much you miss it until its gone! I was so sad. I couldnt heat up milk for kids or rehear food for myself. Wow. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Nick fixing my Whirlpool stackable washer and dryer unit and my GE refrigerator at my house in San Rafael last Friday. My washer was acting up for a while but my refrigerator stopped cooling and I started freaking out and was calling everyone in the area. Noone wanted to come out on Friday, but Nick came out right away and I was very happy, because he fixed my refrigerator right away and he ordered the part for the washer and came back on Monday to complete the job. Wonderful sharp service. Nick was very very nice! Knowledgable. Fairly priced! I called because my Kitchen-Aid microwave oven combo unit broke. And its Christmas soon and I was worrying so much that It sill not be fixed on time. Nick explained to me how everything works and assured me that it will be fixed on time. The microwave part of it had a weird noise while cooking and oven part of it wasn't heating at all. Nick ordered some parts and came back in 2 days. Other companies over the phone was telling me it will take weeks because of holidays. He identified the problem immediately, ordered the necessary parts, and completed the repair. What I think most people will appreciate about Nick is how he will not only identify the problem, but give you multiple options to fix the problem. I tried fixing my stackable whirlpool washer dryer combo, because it was making a horrible sound. I am pretty good with tools and fix my own car, but I had a horrible experience with my washer dryer, so I gave up and called Nick. He was amazingly swift and fast taking it apart and locating a problem right away. He showed everything to me and offered a good deal on the repair. I was very happy with the price. I could only imaging how long it would take me to fix repair that myself. Bearings broke and you definetely had to have some serious skills to replace those. read more

My Amana refrigerator was icing up and not cooling (super weird it was). And my washer and dryer were both acting up. I think they are Whirlpool or GE (something like that. Dry very old) Dryer had a very low heat and washer didn't wash well at all. My hole house was falling apart lol. Nick from DG Tech came out same day and took care of every single thing within 2 days. They did a great job fixing my Whirlpool Refrigerator. It is pretty old, but It was definitely worth fixing for 200$. Nick new whats wrong tight away and installed some temporary part so I can use the fridge until he is back with an original. That is pretty good deal, he could have just say - "I will come back in 2 days. I enjoyed talking to him. He gave me a bunch of advise for my glass stove and GE washer dryer unit.
