By far the worst sushi I've ever had. Have the people running this place even had sushi before? This shit is for cows, not people. When eating sushi you're not meant to be feeling like you've just taken a massive bite out of a raw fish. The salmon in my roll didn't even look like salmon and had the tiniest tint of orange. A roll is meant to be bite size, not so huge that a single piece is too large to even eat in one bite. If I could rate a 0 in taste I would. For a $12 roll I was expecting far better. read more

This is definitely not authentic. If you are looking for good sushi or thai or flavorful food in general, I'd suggest you go elsewhere. Me and a friend ordered 3 rolls (the blue steel, a california, and the swagger) and a teriyaki rice bowl The sushi seemed like it had been prepared hours earlier and then just had the sauce decoration put on at the time of ordering. The rolls were lacking flavor in general other than the flavor imparted from the topping sauce. The rice bowls were bland and didn't have much flavor at all. We ended up putting a fair amount of soy sauce in it to get any flavor from the food. The ingredients taste like they were previously frozen, not fresh and definitely not high quality, especially for the ~$10/roll price. I've had grocery store sushi I enjoyed more and paid about 1/2 the price. read more

I requested the green onion sauce be left off of my roll, and they added sweet chili sauce (not listed on the roll's ingredients). I was trying to avoid onion and garlic, and they added it right back in. The roll was also missing tobiko and cilantro. This place is FABULOUS. I have eaten at Sushi Joy and Shige and of the three this place wins hands down. I ordered delivery, for lunch. It took about 25 minutes to come. I ordered the Apocalypse roll and a Fonzie roll and they did not disappoint! It was FRESH, well rolled, HUGE and super tasty. There was no scrimping on fillings and the roll is so big it was hard to get in my mouth in one bite. I should have taken a picture of it whole, but forgot, so here's a pic of the Apocalypse roll. As a vegan, this place is badass! I loved the techno-savvy way of ordering, it makes things so simple. I recommend an order of the vegan tots, for $4 they give you a ton. I've tried this place four times now and no matter how much I try to give them a chance, I'm now convinced that it's them and not me. Good sushi starts with good rice and their rice is just garbage. My wife's roll was already split apart and falling open before she even touched it. We didn't even try eating with chopsticks, as it was apparent that they would just crumble. Great meal! The food here is excellent. I had the Bangkok roll and sampled another that had spicy tuna in it. I definitely enjoyed both. The star of the show, for me, though was the Thai salad. There's some cilantro dressing on some of the freshest greens you'll find (I suggest adding the shrimp). Thai iced tea is served from a fountain here so that you can go back for refills and adjust the cream and sweetener to your own preference. This resulted in me having the best iced tea I've ever had since I got to personalize it. The location is fantastic right downtown on the corner of Capital and Idaho, near Moon's and Old Chicago. The staff was very friendly as well. I'll be making another trip there sometime soon! read more

The avocado in one roll was old, black and sour tasting. couldn't pick it off because it was all mashed together like guacamole. Had to throw it out. It's okay. As someone else mentioned, it's Fast Food sushi. Therefore, you get your food quickly, at low prices, but also lower quality in my opinion. I guess it depends on what a person is looking for. My husband and I ordered 3 rolls to share, which was more than enough food. However, we found the rolls to be loosely wrapped, so they fell apart. All three were also on the salty side. We liked that they had Vegan options and they have compostable disposables. They also have unisex bathrooms. The staff was very friendly. Great value for what you pay for! Huge rolls of sushi for ~$8. The sushi was pretty tasty, a little too Americanized for my taste. My biggest complaints would be that it is served on paper plates that the rice sticks to, making it pretty difficult to pick the sushi up off the plate with chopsticks without making a mess. Second, either due to the size of the rolls, being wrapped loosely, or both, they do fall apart pretty easily. Not the best sushi I've ever had but great for a quick bite. I still enjoyed it enough to eat my leftovers for lunch the next day! I appreciated that the staff greeted us when we walked in, even though we don't order through them. Never got to eat my food from here but when my door dasher went to go pick the food up they said they were out and so I asked if I could get something else and was told I would have to pay for the item they didn't have and then also pay for the food they were replacing. After my wife asked to speak with the guy that worked there and he got an attitude with her she handed the phone to me and he proceeded to have an attitude because I didn't want to pay for an item I wasn't receiving and so he finally said "oh fuck you" and I preceded to say it back and hung up on him. When I finally got ahold of a woman who claims to be the owner apparently named Ashley Hibbicks she refused to apologize to me which was literally all I wanted was an apology. I LOVE DHARMA. I actually am not a fan of fish in general, not really a sushi person. But dharma has vegan sushi. It's like normal sushi rolls, I think 5 different options to choose from, but instead of fish, tofu! The fried tofu is really good in the rolls. read more

Delicious food, portioned well and priced fantastic! For the nights when you don't want a server, this is the place. It's relaxing, open super late, and I like that most items are priced between $4-$10. Every time I eat here the food always comes out consistent and quick. I have no complaints! The only thing I'd recommend however is that they have a few more options in the $5/$7 category. While you can eat cheap here you can also spend $30 and not leave full depending on what you order. I definitely spend a few minutes every time trying to figure out how I can order enough food to fill me up for under $14.
