I am at DHC Chicken in Grove City. It's a Korean fried chicken restaurant on its second day of operation. Of course it is very clean inside. I expected a few hiccups because this was just their second day open, but everything operated smoothly and the food was fantastic. They might need one more server, but they did have a help wanted sign on the door. DHC serves a large variety of chicken dishes, along with shrimp and vegetarian dishes, including noodle dishes, rice cakes, and salads. The plain fried chicken pieces may be the best fried chicken I've ever had in central Ohio. I ordered five drumsticks. They were completely outstanding, perfectly crispy, fresh, tender, and beautiful. The plain fried chicken had just subtle seasoning but very good, lots of various sauces were available. I think it could use a little black pepper, but for this visit I left it as prepared. The serving sizes are very large, I ordered the five legs which were big plump, juicy, and very good. There was also an option for a half chicken whole chicken and lunch size servings of chicken pieces and chicken tenders. My french fries were pretty much perfect, the type with almost a little batter on the outside. There was a very subtle different taste, maybe slightly sweet, and in any event they were just really perfect, hot, and delicious. The server was very polite and efficient, especially considering the fact that he was covering a lot of tables. The server also offered me disposable gloves, which evidently is a common practice in Korea, and to tell you the truth they were very convenient. There was a large crowd, maybe 3/4 capacity, on a Thursday lunch. For those from Grove City, this is where the old Graeter's used to be at the corner of Broadway and Park Street, across from Plank's and City Hall. I'm not much of a drinker, but there seems to be a fairly good selection of drinks, a large selection of bottled beers, maybe around 25 total. They also have something called Soju, which looks to be fruit-based, along with regular Coke fountain drinks and Korean beverages like Milkis soda, Ramun and fruit pop. So definitely a wide variety. There's a bar area with a bartender. She is serving food to people sitting at the bar and, I assume, drinks, though I didn't see any signs that they had cocktails or mixed drinks. The other patrons here seemed to really be enjoying their food. One person got the Snow Onion Chicken and it looked great. I also ordered fried chicken tenders with sweet galbi sauce, kind of a Korean sauce. They were also outstanding very tender the sauce was sweet but not too sweet with a little bit of tang, very nice. I left the restaurant with plenty of leftovers that I'm excited about reheating. There were several television sets. Three had K-pop videos running, one had a U.S. baseball game on it, and another had an Asian cooking show on it. I had a good experience at the Gahanna DHC the other day, so when I was down this way I wanted some more. I've been to several CM Chickens before, and this is the new name for them. Same menu. I went with the lunch special, and chose tenders since I don't think I had tried them. Upgraded to onion rings. The tenders were great. Three, fairly small, but a good size for a lunch special. Super crispy like their regular chicken. I got galbi sauce, a little savory and sweet. Tender and meaty inside. Onion rings were just okay. I had hoped that since they do so well frying other things these would be stellar. They weren't. Not awful, but not worth bothering with. Came with a mild creamy dipping sauce that was also just okay. Also a small tub of good creamy coleslaw. Service was excellent. The place is kind of small inside and I'm sure it gets packed during peak. Patio dining outside too. Street parking. City lot around the corner. I'd come back if I lived down this way. read more

I'm sorry I am the first one to give a low rating. I usually do give 5 stars too. It was a Saturday afternoon and it was not busy at all. We were greeted right away and seated. They have some booths, tables and bar seating. It was very clean (including the bathrooms). Here is where is started to head south. Not that it wasn't good, it just wasn't outstanding. I ordered half a chicken because I wanted leftovers. It was cut up so oddly, I really can't tell if that was half a chicken or not (I will include a picture and you can be the judge). It wasn't dripping with sauce so it did not have a strong Curry flavor I was expecting. Some pieces were juicy and some were overcooked. My husband ordered the chicken tenders. There were six of them and they were all nice and tender and juicy with plenty of sauce so you could dip. Since sides (6.99-7.99 each) ARE NOT included we decided to share the five spring rolls. They had a good flavor but a little greasy. The sauce that accompanied them was tasty. The person that brought out the food just sat it there and walked away so fast I couldn't grab her attention to ask for silverware and napkins. So my husband had to get up and ask for it. They never checked on us (the waiter was more interested in his phone). It is very pricey for what you receive plus they charge $1 extra for the sauce on the half a chicken and tenders. Shouldn't that be part of the cost? It said $2 charge for extra sauce but no where did it say they would charge you for the sauce that comes on it. Honestly I would rather go to Cane's where you get chicken, fries, coleslaw and texas toast for about the same price but a full meal. I also order a flavored Koreen sparkling water which was good but had sugar in it (different than our sparkling waters). With the tip it was 48 and change. read more

My husband and I have been to every CM Chicken in Columbus and have not been disappointed. We typically order out and the serving size and taste is never effected by getting it to go. The Rose Tteokbokki with cheese is perfect and the curry and cheese monster chicken are flavorful and juicy. We're happy to finally have one close to home. read more

Tried DHC chicken one of their first days open and it did not disappoint! Portion sizes were much larger than I expected and food was delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly. Newly opened so we decided to try a sampling of a few items and WOW! We are hooked! We absolutely loved the chicken tenders! We had the Tikku Galbi, Golden Curry and Spicy Garlic. For sides, we had their coleslaw (my favorite), spring rolls and Cheese monster fries. Everything was fresh and with incredible flavors. What a welcomed addition to GC!
