Very very slow service. Been here a good amount of times. They changed owners and have thus raised car wash prices. Carwashes went up 5 dollars. Doesnt sound like much but it adds up. Used to be buy 3 washes and get one free. Now it is buy 3 washes and get 3 dollars off. They charge an extra 5 for suvs from an expedition to an hrv. The washes are not consistent in cleaning and they seem to be short staffed. I paid extra to have them "wash" my mats but my mats werent even washed. Go elsewhere is my recommendation read more

We've been going to this car wash for years without any problems, until ownership changed and a cashier, Eddie was extremely rude and yelled at me. Recently, I noticed that I was overcharged so I brought it to his attention. He took the receipt from me and immediately said, "let's see who did this". I told him, "you did." He yelled at me and said it was not him. I reminded him that it was him and he told me to shut up! I said, "do not talk to me this way." I've been coming to this car wash since it first opened, and it used to be great. Unfortunately, since the new ownership took over, the quality has gone downhill fast. They're clearly using cheaper products, and the level of care just isn't there anymore. We recently took my boyfriend's car in for a detail before a long road trip, expecting it to be spotless and safe to drive. Instead, the windows were left completely smeared--so bad it was actually hard to see out of them. That's not just disappointing, it's unsafe. When we called to let them know, the experience got even worse. The employee who answered was rude, dismissive, and hung up on us after saying, "What do you want me to do about it? The manager's not here." No attempt to fix the issue, no apology--nothing. It's really disappointing to see a place that used to be reliable go so far downhill. Crumbs all over the carpets and cup holders. Huge dirt spots all over the outside. Such a waste a money! We have been going to this car wash for more than five years. Initially, we were pleased with the service. However we have noticed the quality of their work has diminished to the point we will no longer be returning. The final straw was when we picked up our car after the last wash, there were scratches and swirls on the hood. The scratches were deep and looked like something had been dragged across the top. When brought to the owners attention, we were told the scratches were already there prior to the wash. These scratches are not something that would go unnoticed by us. When looking at the hood, you can't miss them! He sent two snap shots of security footage to prove his point; both were blurry and it was impossible to see the hood of the car clearly. I got a thorough full service car wash today. The staff paid extra attention to the small things- wiped out my cup holders and wiped my navigation screen and buttons well. They also removed the sticky liquid someone dripped on my passenger window and did a through vacuum of the interior. Everything looks sparkling clean and I'm so happy with my clean car! read more

This place has changed their name so my 2 other negative reviews don't show on here. Well this place is still a terrible place to get your car washed. The owner is pretty rude if you have to speak with him. My wife had a dispute over pricing, he refunded her the difference but was super rude about it even though he was in the wrong. In the end the car wash was sub standard. Car was not fully cleaned and they left water spots on all the windows. If your going to charges $50+ for a car wash at least get the basics down. I randomly passed by this Car Wash and my SUV had some hard water stains that needed to be removed. I explained to the employee that the hard water stains were my main concern. They start with a powerwash rinse and then they take it through a car wash machine, and their staff hand dries it. It cost around $30, but I was a bit disappointed when they were done the hard water stains were still there. I pointed it out to them, and they said they couldn't remove it and that I'd have to take it to a shop to get buffed out... I ended up going to a store later and buying Water Spot Remover Spray that was only $15 and that worked in removing the water stains! I should have done that in the first place. In conclusion, if you have hard water stains don't come here, just buy the spray lol I feel like this car wash is good if your car is just dusty but I think their powerwasher is too weak for a heavier job. I don't think the $30ish price tag was worth the wash since my SUV still wasn't clean. Their staff was really nice though so that's a plus. read more

I've been going to this car wash for two years now and never had a problem until today. My car was handed back to me with a fresh scratch on the side, which I asked the manager to look at. My humble request for some sort of investigation resulted in a yelling match in front of all their employees and others in the parking lot. With no other justification, the owner's default answer was "no, that's an existing scratch, and there's no way their establishment could cause damage to any car." He even went to say that $300K cars come to the car wash (which has nothing to do with my complaint). I asked to maybe look at the camera footage inside the car wash to see what happened, but the owner was not having it and escalated the argument to the point of yelling at me, pointing fingers to my face, calling me a scammer and unprofessional. The owner would not stop pacing back and forth and kept coming back to call me names. Perhaps his goal was to bully me enough to stop asking questions and to leave the premises so they would not be accountable for the damage. In his continued anger, he threatened to call the cops; I would have loved to file a police report considering how he was yelling at me and there was no offer to investigate nor to discuss at a later time. He went back inside Circle K, I waited for about 15 minutes, but he never came back out. I left stunned. I will get my car fixed out of my own pocket and will not do anything else even though I can defend my point because I'm sure the entirety of the argument has been recorded on one their cameras. I swear to never come back here again. The owner could have handled the complaint differently: calmly and politely. There might be other things going on in that establishment or that man's life to warrant a reaction like that. Never in my life have I experienced anything like this as a customer. However, I truly believe in karma. This business will not last if they continue to treat their customers like trash. Don't come here if you would like to be treated with respect. read more

4 years later an actual reponse to my complaint was acknowledged. The employee would not even split the bill when the till was opened by another customer. I asked. So......!!!! How did we resolve this? We have never been back. We have taken our business elsewhere. Our personal cars and trucks nor our fleet vehicles have ever been back. My $600 a week, $31,200 per year I was spending, now employs an independent contractor one day a week to wash the cars/trucks at our business location. Customer Service is key....and breaking a $10 bill to tip your employees was what ended the relationship. Brought in my truck to be detailed at a total price of $50 spots throughout the vehicle that's not the biggest problem at all. The gentleman asked me if I should get my car mats Wash and I said yes they basically tore my front driver seat carpet and tore the mat right out of the car and denied tearing it nor did he say that he would fix it. Took my pickup truck there this morning. Been taking my 3 vehicles there for years...there was a small amount of hay scraps in the bed and they told me I would have to pay for a hand wash! I said can't you just take a broom and sweep it out? The guy said he would have to talk to his boss who apparently said they could not do that... The owner never came out to address this and mind you the place had ZERO cars waiting and 9 employees standing around doing nothing! I was kind of blown away that they refused to simply sweep out the back?? I let the employee know that they had lost my business and not surprisingly he didn't care. Drove down Clayton Rd to Autopia and they were packed! Now I know why...I didn't mention what had just happened to see if it would be the same result and they didn't bat an eye...swept the scraps, got me through the long line of cars quickly, efficiently and a stellar job! Today I had my car seats cleaned. they did a great job. I've had the clay bar wax, that's amazing! Your paint will feel buttery. Today they went above and beyond though when I accidentally threw away my keys and the gentleman who runs the kiosk helped me dig them out of the trash can This is the only car wash I go to, I like the people, they do a great job, and I get snacks and wait in the shade! read more

I see a lot of one start reviews and I'm thinking it has to do with the time of day those people came to the car wash. I came in the morning on a Friday and it was basically empty so there were 5 people free to work on my car. I'll take it lol. The individual who helped me select the package was also very informative and helpful. Overall everyone I interacted with was great. What I like even more is the sitting area. There's a lot of seating and most of it has some shade coverage. There was also 80s music playing outside which was a nice touch. Lastly, for how dirty and covered in husky fur my car was, the end result was great. Will return. read more

I'm pretty impressed with this car wash. My truck is kinda oversized and to my surprise it fit in the wash machine. They took there time to shine it up nice and Armor-all the interior. Very good vacuuming of interior and all mats. Under carriage was cleaned and dressed well. They did not put any scents which I'm use to from the other car wash. Bought a nice air freshener from Auto Zone to resolve that issue. Took a good 45 minutes and the gas station has plenty of snacks and refreshments to enjoy while waiting. read more

I just went to this car wash today at 12:30p during lunch time as i had plenty of bird poop, it was my first car wash so my paint was absolutely perfect prior to this as you see i still have dealer plates on the car is brand new. After the wash i look back and see so many swirls on my paint. They must of used wrong equipment, so sad i had to come and write a review if you are reading this do not go here ! BEWARE BIG SPENDERS *** I have genuinely never been more let down at a car wash. After spending a total of $150.00 for an interior detail, that took more than 6hrs mind you, as I left my car with them at 12:20 and attempted to pick it back up at 5:50 (10 min before closing, which I was told is when it would be done) but was left sitting and waiting for an additional 35 mins while they "finished" my vehicle. I have been left with a vehicle you could only describe as FILTHY. I have attached photos for all of you guys to witness with me the amount of (or lack there of) effort that was put into my "detailing". I mean really, if you guys don't know how to detail a vehicle DON'T OFFER THE SERVICE, and if you are going to offer a service that you are incapable of completing it damn sure should not cost me $150.00. BUT AFTER ALL OF THIS, the part of this business I am the most unhappy with is the customer service. I strolled up to my car and immediately realized it looked as if nothing had even been done. When I started to point out the filthy areas to the man on site he told me this was "baked" onto my car and he had nothing to take it off with. I then ran my finger over the black smudges and guess what?! It was on my finger. So you are lying to my now. I asked to speak to a manager and the man Daniel whom I was already complaining to and who was wiping my car down with a dry towel that SHOULD NEVER BE USED ON PAINT to try and make me "happier" stated he was the manager and refused to do anything for me once so ever. My kids go to school in the area so it was convenient to get our cars washed here, recently one of their employees broke the flap door where the change goes. The owner said he would conduct a investigation with the employees and if they said they didn't break it they will not be responsible and of course to my surprise they said I brought it in like that and that I was lying. I've come here for a while now and I'm in disbelief how they treat their paying customers. We will never come back and on top of that we paid extra to clean our leather seats and it wasn't done, the 3rd row was vacuumed nor any of the cup holders. I was looking for a "full service" car wash in the area. I noticed Diablo Car Wash always seemed to be busy (a good sign), but after reading recent Yelp reviews I was a bit skeptical (many of them give 1 star). Nevertheless, decided to give them a shot. Exterior and interior cleaning were excellent. I did have to wait about 5 minutes for kiosk attendant to show up, but when he did he was polite and apologetic for the wait. I don't understand why a premium of $3 was charged for my pickup - it's only a midsized pickup with a tonneau cover on the bed, so it's actually less effort and less surface area to clean inside and out than an SUV or sedan. Other than that, I'm happy with the result and will likely return to Diablo Car Wash with my vehicles. read more

It has been a couple of years since I have gone to Diablo car wash. There still is the same problem(why I stopped going), the lack of attention to detail. I paid for the #3wash for $44.99 plus $3.00 because I own a Subaru Forester. There was bug spots still on the roof of my car. They charge extra for SUV but can't be bothered to clean the top properly. For$47.99 plus tip my experience was unsatisfactory. It will probably be years before I return if at all. read more

My wife and I dropped off our car this morning to get a wash. When we came back our cars wind deflector was broken. Shawn said the car wash had broken it but they wouldn't take care of the damage he stated it was posted that they weren't responsible for accessories. Wouldn't even refund us the cost of the car wash either. He said he noticed a screw missing from the wind detector before it went into the car wash, but he still sent it in. And it broke in there so it wasn't their fault. He said he had video of the car going into the car wash with a missing screw. He wouldn't show us a video, but he said he had it. Funny because I have video of the car when we were leaving our house with the screw on it. I told him that I believed he broke the wind deflector while he was buffing the headlights. Long story short he wouldn't give us our money back. He called the cops on us too because we insisted that he give us a refund. read more

This the 3rd time I've brought my New Mercedes SUV and paid $40 for the #2 wash. Every single time They miss cleaning spots on the outside of my SUV and always use dirty cloths to clean my windows. Finish is still ruined after my van's very first car wash. Because I bought some discount vouchers for this place, the price was decent. The wash and vacuuming were fine. They did everything needed to get a 4 or 5-star review, but unfortunately they messed up the finish on my brand new vehicle. After a 2700-mile road trip it had small bits of road tar here and there, along with being really dirty. The problem was caused by the guy doing the drying and finishing touches. Because just washing wont remove the tar, he decided to remove it with his "detail cloth" and nothing else; no tar-remover, just a cloth and lots of pressure until the tar was gone -along with the shiny finish of my clear coat. I noticed it when I got home, then went straight back to Diablo Car Wash where I told all this to the manager. His attitude was more in defense of the car wash technician, saying he was doing extra work not normally covered in the wash package I'd purchased. He did have someone sort of buff it, but the picture I've uploaded shows the scuffs as they are right now. This happened nearly four years ago. I use a great quick-wax which brings back the shine temporarily, but from what it seems, this is permanent until I spend some real $$ to get it fixed properly. read more

I normally wash my own SUV car and sometimes I go to an automatic carwash for an $8 wash. Today, though, I took my SUV to Diablo Car Wash after a weekend of picking up plants, tree and soil at Home Depot. My car was full of dirt inside on my seats and in the back. The car wash was quick and with the volume of clean cars ahead of me, I had to wait about 15 minutes before the mess inside my SUV was cleaned. I have to say I was impressed with the vacuuming and cleaning done by two Diablo attendants. It took them 45 minutes but it was worth the wait because the inside (and outside) of my car was so clean. They did such a great job that I doubled the tip I left them. Thanks guys, great customer service and very accommodating (especially when I warned the first attendant how dirty my car was). read more
