I am beyond grateful and pleased with the dental work Dr. John Tchaboukian at Diamond Bar Dental has done so far. Let me tell you I came in desperately after letting issues with my teeth go for far too long. I was trying my best to manage it on my own, but to no avail. I have big time anxiety when it comes to having dental procedures. Doctor is extremely patient and explains everything with precise detail, which I appreciate because he is not only showing you what needs to be done in real time, he is also educating you on your own mouth structure. He and his staff have such a welcoming and gentle bedside manner without judgment, which is all the more comforting. So far I've had two bone graphs, a wisdom tooth pull, and eight cavities filled. I am awaiting my next appointment to have two crowns placed, and hopefully with the long term goal of getting Invisalign to straighten out my bottom teeth that became impacted over time. Prices are fair especially considering the expertise and meticulousness you're receiving at Diamond Bar Dental. I would 100% recommend them to my family and friends. The dental hygienist Samantha did my deep cleaning and was a very pleasant experience. She works from her heart, listens and makes sure you're okay throughout the whole cleaning. If I could give negative stars, I would. I don't normally write reviews, but I believe every potential patient deserves to know what they're coming into. I was genuinely horrified by my experience at Diamond Bar Dental. Let me explain why. I went to see Dr. John Tchaboukian for the first time for a checkup. He appeared very professional and did a quick checkup, looking around and taking pictures of my teeth to show me. In the end, he diagnosed me with 12 FILLINGS AND A CROWN! He gave me convincing reasons and showed me parts of my teeth (discoloring and natural grooves) that supported his diagnosis, before telling me he was busy and moving to another patient. I was thoroughly convinced at the time that I had horrible mouth hygiene. The hygienist came in soon after and was very friendly. She periocharted my gums and explained things throughout the process. After checking my gums, she said she felt a lot of tartar buildup and that I would need a deep cleaning. Again, I had no reason to doubt anything I was being told because the staff was super convincing in their explanations and addressed potential concerns. After the diagnosis, I made my way out. The lady at the front desk showed me the crowns they used and told me they were made of "top-quality porcelain." I listened and then requested if it was possible to receive a copy of the pictures they took of my teeth. She said yes, but it would be a charge of $15. I agreed and paid, only to receive small and grainy images. I asked if they could also email me the images, but she said that wasn't possible. Fast forward two months, I've gone to two other dental practices to get their opinion on my teeth. Both of them said that my teeth are extremely clean and cavity-free. They were shocked after I mentioned Diamond Bar Dental's diagnosis of my teeth and told me that I barely even needed a regular cleaning. After reflecting on this experience, I've realized that Diamond Bar Dental was only in it for the money. They diagnosed me with unnecessary and expensive treatments (which totaled well over $3000 for all the work they said was needed) and kept giving me false (but convincing) reasons why it was important. It's a scary world out there and I highly recommend getting a second or even third opinion when things seem off. Diamond Bar Dental's staff seem skilled and thorough (and I'm sure that they are), but they don't put the patient's well-being first and are only looking to make money off you. BE CAREFUL!!! read more

AWESOME dentistry. I avoided coming to the dentist because I suffer from tooth sensitivity. I decided to give Diamond Bar dental a try and have no regrets in doing so. The girls at the front desk were extremely welcoming and had me waiting no more than 5 minutes before they took me to the exam room. I was immediately greeted by Leann who immediately started the cleaning of my teeth. Leann was extremely friendly and was so patient in telling me what she was doing to my mouth (this kept me nice and calm). Once she finished with my cleaning, Dr. John T. Began to asses what could potentially be causing the sensitivity to my teeth. He found the cause and took care of the problem in less than 30 minutes. Going to the dentist is generally a scary and uncomfortable task. Although still uncomfortable (lol) this entire office makes the process so much better. Every time my wife and I come in we are greeted with sincerity and offered coffee, water, snacks and conversation. The customer service is OUTSTANDING!!! Now on to the scary part... I had an bad gum infection, extensive tooth extraction, and bone graft from a root canal that my previous dentist performed. To add to everything, my teeth roots are on Incredible Hulk status. I kid you not, the next day I had almost no pain at all from the procedures. This office is so accommodating and professional it really blows me away. My girlfriend and I found this place online, and both of us were nervous going in because neither of us have been to a dentist in a while. The staff and doctor made us feel right at home, answering any questions or concerns we might have had. They seem to really care about our wellbeing, and tries to work with the clients as much as possible to get things done. Coming in during Covid-19 was a concern for us at well, but the office is always sparkly clean, and they have taken multiple measures to make us feel comfortable, even during this time. Horrible experience! I paid $625 cash for a deep cleaning . I felt weird after it was done because it only took about 40 minutes. 3 weeks later I visited another dentist who said : you need to clean your tooth because it seems you haven't cleaned your tooth in 6 months.. Also, I have a $40 cancellation balance in my account, when I request my medical records, the working staff said they give my medical records only after I pay the balance. My review is specifically for Leann Stepp, the RDH (registered dental hygienist). She did an amazing job and she seemed genuinely pleased to do her job and she also actually cared about how much I know about cleaning my teeth and how they felt. She gladly explained anything I asked about and more. I use to have braces, I got them off about 5 years ago. There has always been a piece of cement on my front tooth and no one has ever taken it off, I had asked a few times before but gave up. She saw it and asked if I had braces and she scraped it right off, I didn't even ask. Now it feels like I have a brand new tooth haha. All in all she was really thorough. She cleaned my gums like nobody else has before. Note that this was the first HYGIENIST I've ever seen. Dr. Fajardo is a great dentist. We have been going to her for years. They have changed their billing procedures, which is fine but being a patient after all these years you should let people know while booking the appointment that the billing process has changed. Not 7 1/2 months later when you send a bill stating we are 90 days late and threaten to send me to collections. I have never been late on any payment or bill in my life.
