With that said, I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire staff. Each staff member is professional, nice and friendly. The doctor explains each procedure in advance; he is honest and lets you know which procedures deserve attention now but never pressures you into anything. This dental office has a revolving door. There is a new dentist every time we come. They perform poor work that does not last. My husband had a crown put in 2023, it lasted 2 1/2 years and they refused to repair at no cost. The insurance company recommends that a crown should last at least 5 years. We asked them to repair, and they refused. Do not use this dentist as you will have to pay for poor work. read more

This office is so unprofessional and they have committed fraud! First of all they messed up on my billing becuase they said the billing person when I came in put in the wrong address so I got a bill for 6 months while they sorted it out. Finally the bills stopped coming so I thought they figured out until a year later when I got a bill for $400! Do not come here! Worst dental office ever. these idiots lies to me about my insurance covering my crown. I later found out I did not need the procedure they performed and that is why my insurance would not cover it. when I contacted them I was told that my tooth problem was less than 50 percent and that why the insurance would not cover it yet they failed to tell me this. the problem is that now I still am having problem with my tooth. You would be better off utilizing someone else to deal with your dental needs. I wish I could list zero stars for grand ave dentistry. read more

I had a crown fall off after 6 years and for some reason my temporary crown didn't want to stay on. They worked with me during the busy holiday season to get me in so Christina could reattach my temporary crown. Christina is awesome with a "can do" attitude, and Belinda and Laila in reception are so accommodating. I highly recommend this dental office. read more

The doctor repaired a broken tooth, waited to apply a temporary an additional week because I was not going to be back for several weeks. She said she didn't want me to have such a long period for a temporary crown when the tooth, though broken, wasn't causing any issues or pain. Upon return to the office to get the permanent crown, she was very friendly and genuinely caring when talking about a topic we had discussed on my first visit. Staff was very nice and professional. They made a minor clerical mistake and the office staff profusely apologized for what she said was completely her fault. They worked quickly and insisted that they provided the best possible color match for the crown despite my saying it really didn't matter to me. I was a new patient and made an appointment for x-rays AND cleaning. I made sure they understood I want both done at my appointment. The assistant didn't seem to know what she was doing and literally took about 50-60 x-rays. I had to call her out as to why she's taking so many duplicate x-rays of the same spots in my mouth before she stopped taking so many duplicates or I would've had many more x-rays. After the x-rays I was told I was done. I told them I want cleaning too, but they said I have to come back and pay another co-pay for the cleaning. Unbelievable. read more

Today is my best experience at the dentist, ever. Dr. Jane did a really good job and very friendly. I needed a deep cleaning and she numbed me and I just heard the uncomfortable sound. When I felt a little tingling, I told her what I felt, and she numbed the certain area again. This will be my regular dentist from now on. The staffs are very nice. Been coming here for years. Love and hate that they are so diligent about calling to make sure you remember and show up to your appointments ontime (which is why I'm only giving 4 stars). I would like to note that I looked on yelp to pick this place as a new patient but I was quite dissatisfied. The one star is for the dentist, an ethnic man, who very throughly explained his findings after the long appointment. He was the dentist for the very initial appointment, and the appointment was WAY too long. I understand the assistant was training some newer assistant. Normally if they verbalize this and provide their names, I would be patient but lack of introductions is unprofessional. Anyhoo so this first appointment was basically a million xrays and that was it - kind of a waste of time when I had told them I was really just in need of a cleaning. After this appointment, THEN I had a separate appointment for cleaning. The other more significant star is for the assistant that was there on the a Tuesday, she really did more of the cleaning work than the dentist. She was a pleasure to interact with and made me comfortable. The dentist that "did my cleaning" was one of the roughest dentist I have been too and probably spent no more than 4 minutes with me. The first time I was there on a Wednesday, the office was not busy and it seemed that covid compliance with spaced out appts was done. Overall not a great dentist office. Some of the technicians seem incompetent, the dentist had to "lecture" a couple of them during my visits/exams. With that said, all technicians and dentists have been polite and friendly. The worst part of this dentist office is the front desk staff as of recent. Claire is not polite and pretty unprofessional. I feel like I was unlucky enough to see her immature and rude side. Not sure where the other office lady from a year ago went. Maybe her shift changed or she left. I've been coming here for about 5 years now and they're great! Dr. Rishi is such a great dentist. I'm a very picky/particular person... but Dr. Rishi explains everything and even answers all of my detailed and particular questions. The staff Laura, Clair and the other receptionist are also super friendly and feel like family when I go in. I've even convinced my mom and husband to go and they love it! My husband is the type that hardly goes to the dentist or doctors office, but he liked how Dr. Rishi was very honest and knowledgeable. Plus they have Netflix!!! Also the doctor is very particular and a perfectionist with his work, so I'm glad he actually takes the time to treat my problems.
