They have a big selection of musubi that you can pick from. It's kept warm so you can buy it and eat right away. I ordered the spam breakfast banh mi and it was amazing. It has spam, eggs, pickled vegetables, fresh cilantro. You can even add jalapeños or aioli for an extra cost. Although the banh mi appears on the smaller side, it turned out to be very tasty and very filling. I'll definitely come back to try their musubi. Wow, I was so pleasantly surprised by the food here! When we arrived, there was a line out the door, but the line moves quite fast. You can also order online (so that you can just come and pick up your order). The store is quite small, without any seating inside, so it is mostly grab and go. We got the banh mi (with grilled chicken) and turkey pesto club. We had already heard good reviews, but we were still surprised by the quality of food. My favorite was actually the turkey pesto club sandwich -- the fresh ingredients, acidity from the sauces, and crispy toasted bread really made a well-rounded sandwich. Super cute local spot with beautifully presented food! The menu is super interesting (asian fusion vibes) and I didn't expect the dishes to be presented so aesthetically! I stopped by for a quick coffee while waiting for my name to be called at a restaurant next door. Location is great, right by the beach and other restaurants! More for a grab and go, there's a small seating area inside, and some tables outside. I was surprised by the menu - several options, food, coffee, tea. I went for the Horchata Cold Brew, and it was okay! It tasted like a watered down horchata in my opinion, but it wasn't bad! My dad ordered an Americano with creamer and he said it was absolutely terrible! I felt bad and gave him the rest of my drink, haha. Ever since the L-Taraval MUNI train came back to service last year, I have been taking advantage of the route to take my walk at Sunset Dunes. When I've gotten off at 46th Avenue, I've come here on occasion to fuel up before facing the windswept oceanfront. They offer quite a beverage selection in a chill setting with an expansive parklet in front. Gratefully it's not a place that attracts semi-permanent laptoppers because they have just bench seating inside. It's really a spot more ideal for grab and go. During warm weather, I've had their refreshing $6 Matcha Lemonade (Photo 10). When it got colder, I went for the piping hot $4.75 Au Lait (Photo 3). Satisfying libations no matter the climate. I have yet to try their food menu which appears to grow every time I visit. They now offer eight musubi, four grab-&-go choices, and a number of made-to-order toasts and sandwiches. It is a small cafe area without any indoor seating except the bench area for waiting for your order. Toasted really well and super crunchy. The filling to bread ratio was good. It had the thicker cut of bacon along with a fried egg, arugula, pickled onions and avocado. The flavors of the fillings, aioli, lemon juice and olive oil all work together and complement each other. A light and satisfying sandwich altogether. A critique would be that the egg was kind of small and only appeared half way into eating my sandwich; kind of wish it was more evenly distributed through the sandwich. 3) Matcha Lemonade(5.2/10) - This was just okay...kind of mid. My friend and I saw a crowd in front of this cafe, so figured we give it a try - seems like a popular place. I loved the minimalist aesthetics when we walked inside. We weren't hungry, otherwise, we would have ordered a few musubi. We had the horchata cold brew and strawberry matcha. The inside of the store was super small and there are no seats inside but there are a few seating options right outside. The prices usually move between $3.45-3.75 a cup for medium/large but last week it went up to $4 a cup which is fine (inflation) I get it. A few days later after finding about the price increase, she only charged me $3.75 for a large. went in today and the dude with the tattoos charges me $5. I had to unfortunately walk out (no coffee in hand *crys*) cuz I felt like the two at the front were gas lighting me about the prices when I was asking. LoL well I came back again a week later and tried more healthy items the coconut chia parfait had coconut milk chia pudding with berries and house made granola which was something I was not used to, so I really didn't care for this one; however, the Overnight oats was quite tasty! It had oats, chia, cinnamon mixed with whole milk with honey, banana and their homemade granola. That veggie puff is quite unique and I got another one.
