After being told, from a previous dentist that I had a cracked tooth, cavities and needed a root canal, I was scared to return due to the outrageous cost and fear of pain. At my visit to diamond dental, I learned that I had no cracked tooth, my fillings were okay and no cavities. Dr. Diamond is a great dentist. The office staff is so sweet. My husband and I are patients here and we think this office is great. Small building complex, appointment is kept right on time. I went to Diamond Dental as a kid. I have fond memories of the Nintendo 64 at the hygienist station and the shelves of toys and stickers we could pick from to take home. Fast forward a little bit and now we take our four-year-old to Diamond Dental. She was absolutely terrified about what was about to happen to her, but Dr. Diamond calmed her down like magic. It is good to know that decades later, the guy still knows how to make a kid feel calm and almost excited about having scary instruments stuck in her face. read more

Always such a good experience here! Dental appointments are probably my least favorite Dr visits but the entire staff in this office make it so much better! They are beyond nice, helpful and informative! Best of all they stick to their schedule. I've never waiting more than 5 minutes to get called back and start getting my appointment going. Sorry to say I had a very bad experience with Diamond Dental and my 2 year old. We went for her first ever dental appointment and it was bad from the start. They made zero effort to make her feel safe or welcome. No hello, no getting down on her level, no smile. The first thing the hygienist did when we went in the exam room was pick her up from behind to put her in the exam chair. Why?? Of course this scared her to have a stranger pick her up like that. The appointment went downhill from there. 2 yo isn't happy and doesn't want to be there, won't cooperate with what they want her to do (did I mention she is 2?) and both dr diamond and the hygienist proceed to call her a "handful" and "behavior problem" and make comments about my parenting choices. Clearly there are many great reviews for This office, so it must be a good fit for some people. But if you have a small child who gets scared or has a more spirited nature, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. One last note - the women at the front desk are lovely. Very kind to me and my daughter - they are the reason I gave any stars at all. I wish they had been in the exam room! read more

Love Doctor Diamond and his nice staff. He's really patient, calming, warm, and excellent with kids. He talks them through the process so the kids really like him. Coming from another dentist that our 6 year old didn't feel comfortable with (despite the fun decorations in her office), we like Dr. Diamond for his warmth. He's also very positive and cheering to the kids and doesn't freak the kids out if they have cavities. Definitely would recommend him (who came recommended from another friend). read more

After a disappointing visit to our previous dentist, we took the whole family to Diamond Dental on the recommendation of a friend. We couldn't have had a better experience. I have to say BEST dentist I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot). Plus, my 7 year old son now enjoys going to the dentist due to Dr. Diamond & his staff. This coming from a boy who had a tooth pulled, a root canal & a cavity or two filled. A friend refered me knowing my son needed some dental work and was afraid of the dentist. He was a 2nd opinion & turned out his opinion was all we needed. He is gentle with kids & informative with adults. The little touches are what makes them stand out from the rest. A smile from Addie & a family movie greet you when you enter, they apply lip ointment during your visits, gives a report card (my favorite) so you know how you're doing, tips of how you can improve, the kids get prizes & on those special occasions get to play their video games. I give a 5 star rating, because I've never had to wait longer then 5 minutes from my appointment time, great customer service, unlike most dentists Dr. Diamond enters the room quickly & stays with you until the Novocain kicks in (again the little touches that make them stand out), great with kids & personable. Dr. Diamond and his staff are all professional, patient and accommodating. Due to my busy schedule and lack of child care, I had to bring all three of my kids for back to back to back appointments on the same day. Did I mention they are 2,4 and 6. We are relatively new to Dr. Diamond but have been very pleased. All 3 of my kids have had their teeth cleaned and most recently one of my 7 year old twins had several cavities filled under general anesthesia. My son has autism and wouldn't tolerate a filling, or even x-rays. Dr. Diamond partnered with a teaching anesthesiologist from UCLA. She and her student were amazing and very thorough. They spent 30 min on the phone with me the day before his procedure and it was a holiday! Dr. Diamond did a great job and my son was only under for 90 min. Our previous dentist quoted twice the time and twice the cost. I would highly recommend Dr. Diamond to anyone especially parents of children with Special Needs. read more

I did not know how blessed I was to have Dr. Diamond as my general dentist for almost 20 years until I had a horrific dental experience with a "dentist" out where I now live in 29 Palms. When I got married I moved with my husband to our Marine Corps base in 29 Palms. I thought it would be easier to see a dentist out here while we were stationed in the area. It was a horrible mistake. He drilled into 10 of my teeth and told me I needed FIVE root canals (I'm super OCD about my teeth and I take extreme care of them). Before he performed the root canals I got out of there! I drove 3 hours (which was well worth it... and I will continue to do so) to see Dr. Diamond. He replaced the 4 temporary fillings the 29 Palms "dentist" put in to hold my teeth over till he could perform the 5 unnecessary root canals. He left 1 of the teeth to see if the pain would subside in 2 weeks. It did not so I went to see an Endodontist, Dr. Sadek of Marina Endodontics. Turns out I only had hairline cracks from the previous 29 "dentist" drilling into my teeth. I am definitely thankful for Dr. Diamond and Dr. Sadek! I would definitely recommend Dr. Diamond to friends and family! read more

I have been wanting to post a review for Dr.Diamond for some time now and made it a point to start the new year appreciating those who I am grateful for. My daughters (ages 8 and 9) have been seeing him for years. They love going to the dentist because they have no fear whatsoever and it's because of all his wonderful staff and Dr.Diamond himself. My oldest daughter is autistic and had a horrible first dental experience at a different dental group so my pediatrician referred me to Dr.Diamond. He was so awesome and broke up her appts into different sessions (since she had a few procedures that needed to be done) so she can slowing gain trust in him. Everyone is so caring to her and she now looks forward to getting her 6 month check ups. I am very picking with my children's providers and do some research ahead of time ever since my horrible experience in the past so I hope my post can help other parents who are looking for a dentist they can trust. read more

I brought my five and two year old to Dr. Diamond last week, and we could not have had a better experience. They put my children right at ease and were so caring and gentle. Dr. Diamond was amazing at explaining things to them. My son is still talking about Dr. Diamond. I thought he would be so nervous and wouldn't cooperate, but it was just the opposite.
