When my Tesla incurred substantial damage after being hit by someone running a red light, I researched the collision centers recommended by my insurance company. I decided to have my car towed to Diamond Hills Collision Center and I am so glad I did. A few days after my car arrived at Diamond Hills, I went there and met Kirk, my repair advisor. I can't say enough about how professional, kind and empathetic Kirk was. He took the time to describe in detail the work that would be done and gave me an estimated completion date which was spot on. Kirk recognized how much I care for my car and even ensured that my sun shade was placed in the vehicle any time it was outside. When I contacted him with questions, he answered promptly. Being an amateur detailer, I am VERY picky about my car's appearance. When I picked up my vehicle, I must say, it looked spectacular. The painted sections were flawless. Kirk was patient and indulged me as I walked around my car scrupulously inspecting everything. Nothing was amiss. As an example of how important their customer satisfaction is, when I opened the frunk, I noticed a small scratch on the inside plastic. I was pretty sure it wasn't there before so Kirk checked the intake photos and sure enough, it wasn't there before. He corrected the problem immediately by swapping out the frunk interior on the spot. I was impressed that they took ownership for the issue. If you've been unfortunate enough to get in an auto collision, don't make your experience worst by bringing your car here. When the car was ready for pick up the first time, the paint match was incredibly off. Yada yada plastic vs metal; this was bad for what it was. Fast forward a week later, they repainted and "corrected" that issue, but now the vehicle had paint runs on the left side above the tail light. In addition to that, the trunk no longer closed. They somehow managed to introduce two new issues. Nevermind the vehicle now being 3 different colors... As of writing this review, insurance got involved, agreed that the work is unacceptable, and the vehicle has been at their shop since. Haven't heard anything from them, no progress updates or photos. I'm in the dark, which is a very contrasting difference when compared to the frequent updates and photos I received when this whole ordeal started. I'm genuinely worried about the quality of repair done to the vehicle. If they can't get paint right to this extent, I fear their craftsmanship and quality of repair might also be of poor quality... read more

I hate to bring down the 5 star party but my experience with Diamond hills, and Kirk in specific, make it impossible for me to give these guys a good rating. At first all seemed to go smooth until Kirk couldn't get in touch with my insurer's adjuster. Rather than finding other ways to make it happen he pulled my car out of production and I lost maybe 3-5 weeks on that alone. All that needed to be done was call the insurer and ask to speak to a different adjustor. That didn't happen. My repair for a basic collision was 10 weeks as a result. Kirk initially said it would take close to a month. When I got my car back I didn't realize that they also failed to replace PPF on one of the panels. The paint on that panel chipped instantly, which hasn't happened anywhere else on my car. Makes me wonder about the quality of their painting. But I reached out to him several times to find out how I go about getting the PPF replaced, as it was covered. Crickets. Will see how management deals with this as I am at the end of my patience with them. Consider other places if time, quality and responsiveness are important... read more

Kirk and team did an excellent job. They were very communicative and texted all tear down photos as well as shots during and after work. Upon completion there was an incorrect part installed by mistake and they turned around and fixed quickly. Also, I didn't catch a small issue in the paint but they did and scheduled another day for them to fix. It takes a lot of character to highlight their own mistake (at pretty high cost to them) and take care of the customer (instead of hoping they won't notice). This review is long over due, as I had my car worked on about 3-4 months ago now. But I want to express how great their service was and how amazing my car turned out when I picked it up. I drive a 2004 Toyota Matrix and was rear ended at a stop light. The bottom portion of my hatch along with my rear bumper was really messed up. I took it to Diamond Hill Collision in Orange and asked for their help. The person who hit me had insurance and covered all the repairs to my car along with the rental. It took about 2 weeks for the repairs to be completed. I had a rental so I was in no rush to get my car back, and glad they took their time to paint and repair my vehicle. When I went to go pick it up it honestly looked better than it did before my accident. The paint job was emaculate and they even went out of their way to touch up areas surrounding the damage to make sure it looked as best as possible. My car has well over 220K miles but I do my best to keep it clean and looking its best, and the guys at Diamond Hills noticed that and made sure to keep it looking prestine after the repairs. I've looked around for a great body shop in Southern California for 3 years now (yes we tend to have back luck with car damage). Finally we were referred to diamond hills collision. We are extremely particular about our vehicles and this shop is the only one I have found in SoCal that can properly match and blend paint, buff and return the car to the same orange peel finish that it was intended to have.
