I love love love this place lol. I moved to the high desert not that long ago and wanted more authentic Chinese food than Panda Express and while I tried multiple other places they all had one or more negative things but Diamond Panda checks all the boxes. The food is amazing, the portions are crazy I can literally have 2 meals just from one plate. The customer service isn't bad but it they don't provide customer service like other places which isn't an issue for me because I only go order and come home to eat. read more

Panda Express style, but they also make dishes to order. Got the shrimp fried rice and beef noodle soup, both made fresh by default. The shrimp fried rice was excellent, even though they don't include a lot of shrimp, it's cooked well, and the fried rice is a perfect balance. It is a great Chinese restaurant, located near Food 4 Less and Big Lots, in Victorville. I have been here many times, with my family, to eat inside, or pick up food. This was over a period of ten years. The meals were quite delicious. The wait time to order meals was not long. Furthermore, during the times when I was eating inside, the place looked clean, and there was ample of space to sit down. It is a good alternative to Panda Express. The Diamond Panda has been in the high desert and at this location for quite some time now. We've been going here for years, but never took time to yelp them. I must say, for fast food Chinese, they are probably the best in the area. Definitely prefer them over any of the other well known chains. First, the quantity is exceptional to the cost. You will get your monies worth. Second is the quality is there for fast food Chinese. The daily choices don't usually change, but they can quickly prepare other menu items in a flash. They offer BBQ pork which is a favorite and definitely orange or spicy chicken. Both excellent taste and flavor. Many items to choose from that are ready to serve from their steam table. The service is quick, friendly and polite. Can't think of a bad experience ever. I wish yelp would allow half ratings because they're almost a five based on quality, quantity, and cost, but I guess because they bring in a lot of people, the dining area gets a bit messy and crowded. Need a bit more emphasis on constant clean ups in the dining area. So we just order to go and be on our happy way till the next craving for good fast-food Chinese. read more

This place is a disgrace I've been eating here for about 20 some years all the older employees know me very well including the owner John I went to eat there and when finished my son wanted to buy a homeless some food and cause it was for a homeless the miss treated my son and when you buy food they serve a lot but since it was for a homeless the gave him 1/2 of what they normally serve and when I told the owner he said that they don't want anyone buying food for homeless and that he would rather not want anyones money if it's for the homeless. I usually get the #2 combo, Fried Rice and Noodles, Spicy Garlic Chicken and Orange Chicken (it's the best). When they fill the container they put Rice and Noodles in large area then fill back corners will your choices, but pile more of the meats over the top of rice and noodles. The container must weight 3 pounds when filled. This is the best Chinese take out in the High Desert. read more

I don't know what happened to place. I used to come right before closing order a beef stick and they would make it now I come an hour before closing and they say they don't make it after 8. Guys is literally 8:10!! And clearly the other customers that were there had waited longer than I did to receive my cook to order food so apparently they were picking and choosing who they cooked for. Also the man she claimed "didn't think he would make it" kept coming out with more food! What makes me upset she didn't even go ask if he would. I really absolutely love their house special fried rice! I love the food, just don't go in the mornings when they open because the food they didn't sell from the night before is brought out. Their spicy garlic chicken is amazing as well as their bbq pork! How to tell if the spicy garlic is fresh is if it's hard and if it's soft, it's been there for a while. Personally I prefer it soft so I'm always happy about that. But for real, their house special fried rice is the best! read more

The dining area is fairly large for a place of that size but it is not anything fancy. Ideal location for me right off the freeway and next to food4less.
