I was taken to school lol now here me out. I didn't know much about diamonds and what to look for, different kinds, clarity and so fouth but I was shown much information that was easy to understand. I wanted something custom and after some variations and rendering this princess cut masterpiece was born. The place is extremely clean, multiple kinds of refreshments coming in straight to the back where there is seating and a nice view of the water. Everyone is very intelligent and know exactly what they are doing. I felt at home everytime I came in and so very welcomed. I recommend this place to anyone trying to look for a ring or other jewelry. As for price that depends on what you want and yes I definitely did go overboard but it was worth it in the end. They had about 10 diamonds for us to see. Mostly in our size and budget except for one that was slightly smaller but was IF - internally flawless and another that was larger but a little lower on the clarity scale. These guys are great. Got to work with a guy named John. Very helpful and extremely kind. I went in, in the hope they could polish a necklace I've owned for about 8 years. I am a pilot and have been flying since I was 16. My mother got me this necklace on my very first flight and I have worn it on every flight I went on since. It was very dirty and corroded with some green stuff. I did not know the material it was made out of or what was happening to it. They were able to figure out it was sterling plated and knew exactly how to fix it. They were pretty fast and got back to me with my necklace in under 10 minutes. I attended a special event at Diamonds Direct a few weeks ago. They had a free happy hour that included Fogo de Chao cooking up some good stuff in front of the store. As well as wine, beer and champagne inside. When I first walked into the store I couldn't believe the huge turn out! Then, I was in awe of the beauty of the store. The lighting alone must have cost a fortune. Plus it's a huge showroom! The lighting made everything sparkle, including my eyes lol. It took roughly 15 minutes for an associate to be free so they could assist me. Which was understandable as the place was packed. I recently received a promotion at work and wanted to treat myself. I saw a pair of three-prong diamonds earrings, .31TW, white gold. The associate Jordan H. was a delight! I was purchasing for my second earring hole, so I didn't want anything too big. What impressed me the most about Jordan is she did not try to upsell me to a bigger diamond earring. After I tried the earrings on she agreed with me that the size I selected was perfect. I appreciate it so much not being pressured to spend more than I had intended! They had some sales going on, so my purchase cost me, after tax, $471. Not bad for such high quality earrings! This was my first time ever walking into a jewelry store and making this type of purchase. The whole experience was great! I can't forget to tell you they have a children's play room. We have always bought our rings from here and never had a issue until recently. But i have been shocked at the customer service we have received. Dropped my rings off for a cleaning and one to be fixed because diamonds keep falling out of it. They said they would be done in two weeks. never got an update or heard anything from them. Called on the due date and they hadnt even looked at my rings or cleaned them. Then they had to keep the ring to be fixed And said they would mail to me when its fixed. No updates for a month at least and kept calling and never got straight answers. Finally spoke with a lady who did assist me. Got my ring shipped to me finally after two months and the ring is warped and bent. How could this happen and who checks the rings? Now, we bought our wedding bands during a promotional period about 4 months away from our wedding. Cut to January 2020 - we're out of warranty, and our wedding is 3 weeks away. My fiance decides she wants to change her wedding band because it felt uncomfortable while trying it on around the house. I came into Diamonds Direct looking to purchase an engagement ring after visiting two times prior with my girlfriend to browse. After working with one employee several times and running into issues several times regarding the financing for the ring, I decided I would pay cash for the ring I decided to get made. I was told it would take 4 weeks for my ring to be made so I planned my proposal accordingly with friends and family coming in town for the surprise. After hearing nothing from anybody several days past 4 weeks, I called and was told it was still not ready. After not hearing anything again for another almost 2 weeks, I called and was informed it was finally ready. When I came in and was showed the ring, it was made incorrectly! I was extremely disappointed and expressed it as now the ring would not be ready for the proposal date I had planned with not only family but a photographer. The apologies by the employee who presented me the ring seemed insincere and they even went as far to say "you could take this ring and propose with it, then bring it back and we can make it the right way". What woman being proposed to would like the idea of having to be proposed to with a ring made incorrectly then have it taken away and wait weeks to receive it again? Despite the fact I had to cancel all arrangements for the proposal, I wanted to have it made correctly and was told it would be 2 more weeks to get it remade and that it would be expedited. 2 weeks pass and I call, not ready. Finally after 3 weeks, I once again had to call myself and find out that it was finally ready and that I would be taken care of due to the fact that I was inconvenienced. Upon arriving I receive the ring and it was made correctly. When it came to them making their mistake right, I was discounted roughly 2%. This was somewhat of a slap in the face as I was not only inconvenienced twice, but I was unable to have family in town for my proposal due to rescheduling, etc.. I requested more of a discount and was approached by another employee who proceeded to tell me I had been quoted incorrectly for the band originally and that no further discount could be applied. Once again, a mistake on their end. We went back and forth, with them telling me "we can't just give you the ring" as if I was not paying thousands of dollars and despite the fact that I anticipated on doing future business with Diamonds Direct for wedding bands. I understand the way a business operates and I understand the margins they try to make, although upholding a company standard in terms of customer satisfaction should override in certain situations. The lack of customer service and seemingly insincere apologies were unacceptable and I will not be doing future business with Diamonds Direct. Regardless of the money I believe I should've been discounted, it's about the principal of customer service and the obligation a business should feel towards making their customer feel satisfied, ESPECIALLY when it is a decision such as an engagement ring. We went in looking for a very specific design that they did not have in the store. Zach literally created the ring we were looking for after carefully taking us around, looking at different rings in the store, different stones, colors, shapes, etc. I swear its like he went into my head and saw exactly what I wanted and he just made it appear!! He took so much time with us, and he cared about getting us what we wanted, and he did exactly that! Was shopping for a diamond ring for my wife for our 30th anniversary. I had tried a local jewelry store and was told to look on their website for a diamond of my liking. They appeared to have nothing to show me and volunteered no information about a diamond purchase. They had no interest. I had batteries installed in my watch there on previous occasions, and that's the limited capacity in which they will play in the future. So, I decided to try Diamonds Direct (DD). They were very helpful in educating me about diamonds and had shown me several in my price range. However, being the educated consumer that I am, I checked with several online diamond stores to compare similar diamonds. I returned to DD and showed them comparables that I had found. After the salesman conferred with whom I believed was the manager, he presented me with a price that was almost $2500 less than previously quoted. Needless to say, I was ecstatic. The salesman, not so much. If I had known this beforehand, I would have gone with a more expensive ring. But my wife was thrilled with the ring, which absolutely dazzles in the light and brings many compliments!
