I am absolutely astounded by the incredible work of Diana Sechrist. I was online researching possible newborn photographers and Diana's photos captured my eye. I decided to check out her Instagram; I was pretty open minded about the photos so I needed to check out everyone's work. The photos were simple yet classic, soft and whimsical. I had to find out more. I was contacted promptly after inquiring. After speaking with Diana, I knew I had the right photographer. She's a really kind and genuine person, which made me feel incredibly at ease as someone who was going to handle my newborn. I felt like she was someone I could grab a coffee with! Her professionalism is off the charts - she's been doing this for 10-11 years and her work is just incredible. After looking for a newborn and maternity photographer, we came across Diana Sechrist mentioned by a family member that gets her sessions done with Diana. Diana is great at communicating and getting back to you quickly which is awesome!!! Aside from that she is just the sweetest and friendliest person ever :) She makes you feel so comfortable in the studio which I loved because my boyfriend is super shy (I usually feel awkward elsewhere)! For both my maternity and newborn sessions she got SO creative! She created these beautiful color schemes and amazing portraits! The environment she creates in her studio is perfect, comfortable for you during the maternity shoot and even more comfortable for the baby during the newborn shoot! She will make the room nice and warm and it's the most peaceful thing ever- I got to take a mommy break during the newborn shoot and napped the whole session (how awesome!?) She's also amazing with babies We just went in today to look at our slideshow of pictures and with the first two pictures I actually began to shed tears! She made me miss my baby bump and really made me feel so beautiful. The pictures she got of my baby girl are like no other- makes me feel so blessed for the little girl I have :) These pictures are so amazing and the experience was perfect overall! I highly recommend Diana from DSP for maternity and newborn photography, wow! Spellbound by the excitement of our first baby, we wanted to make sure we had a photographer that could fully capture those first few moments of parenthood as well as the last few bittersweet moments of pregnancy. We first met Diana during our maternity shoot, which was so much fun. She's remarkably creative, spontaneous, kind and energetic; I couldn't imagine a better photographer to work with during both of these times. We felt very comfortable with her and her assistant, who brought us through the previously unknown process. She made sure to get a thorough idea of what we were like as a couple, so she could cater both photo shoots to our taste and personality, which worked out great since she was able to incorporate many features that were natural, candid, fun, rustic, and vintage. Her studio in Framingham, MA was very easy to get to, relaxed, and comfortable for the newborn photo shoot. She spent around 4 hours for the shoot, and we were able to take breaks, snack, and breastfeed in between, which was wonderful. She had an abundance of fabrics and props to meet every style. It was a lot of fun picking out different ideas, which she helped cultivate after knowing our personalities a bit. We absolutely LOVED all our pictures and cannot wait to make beautiful holiday presents for family from them this year. I should also add that when the delivery service returned our photo book to the studio after we were unable to pick it up, she actually had someone personally drop it off inside our condo building. We just received our pictures yesterday from our maternity/family shoot and OMG! they are breathtaking! We did outdoor shoot by the beach along with my 3 year old, who hates having her picture taken; however, with Diana, she was engaged, laughed the entire time and her pictures came out beautiful. Every picture she took came out gorgeous!!! I was actually hesitant to take pictures with swimsuit on but Diana was really reassuring and I trusted her and to my surprise those were some of the best pictures in the gallery! Bottomline, Diana was great to work with, great at what she does, very professional and easy to work with, took fabulous pictures that we will cherish forever and she's definitely worth the $$! As a new mom I can tell you that working with Diana and having your newborn's photos taken by her is by far THE easiest and most relaxing part of those first weeks of motherhood. I started my photographer hunt while still pregnant, because having your first baby means giving them the best the world has to offer (you moms know what I mean about obsessing over every detail before the lil' one is even here)...so why not start with having the most perfect photos of your most perfect baby :) I contacted a bunch of newborn photographers, and I have to tell you from the start Diana made a great impression. She promptly returned my request for info with a personal phone call (that's right, real voice phone call, not email, not generic reply with pamphlet list of stuff). That's when we hit it off, from that first conversation. I felt so at ease with her that I even signed up for the maternity/newborn photo package...and that took a lot for me to do, because I certainly did not feel glorious in front of a camera 9 months pregant (and I ended up giving birth 48 hrs after that photo shoot!!) The photos were phenomenal (see her examples on her website, she makes moms look and feel like goddesses). Then for the newborn shoot she was so gentle and careful with our lil girl, even wearing white gloves when handling her. The photos turned out amazing!!! I still get compliments on them...mainly because I can still show them off on my phone app of photos she gives you. That's right, a phone app with all your newborn shots, that comes as part of the package. That way you don't have to choose just one to show. I HIGHLY recommend Diana and her studio. What a fun and amazing experience! Diana is super responsive and very easy to communicate with. She was able to squeeze me in her super busy schedule when I called 4 months before my due date. (Schedule in advance. She's so good that her schedule gets booked up pretty fast). She's warm and makes you feel extremely comfortable during the shoot. She also helped me see how beautiful the woman body can be. Diana is able to capture, not only moments but the feelings through photos. Her work is pure art. Going back to the newborn shoot was stress free. My mom had brought a few pieces that I wore when I was a baby and I asked her if it would be possible to use them and she took incredible photos with the 2 pieces. We first were introduced to Diana's work through Steward - St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, where she has so many wonderful pieces hung around the maternity department. Impressed by her samples, we contacted her for our twin daughters newborn photoshoot. I can honestly say it was an incredible experience and the work was just fantastic and amazing. The scheduling process is simple, the studio is warm and inviting Diana is a true professional. She works so well with newborns, capturing all their beauty. The shoot lasted 4 hrs (again we had twins) but there is a changing station, bottle warmers and everything needed to take care of the kids. I had contacted Diana when I was pregnant with my daughter, Zoe and she was just amazing to work it, very accommodating with dates and schedules and fairly reasonable rates When the day finally arrived for Zoe's photo shot, I was just blown away by the ease at which she handled my baby (she was only 4 days old!) and the artistic nature of all her work. Our experience with Diana was wonderful. She is so warm and enthusiastic-you can instantly tell she loves what she does. I was nervous and a bit self conscious for the maternity shoot and as soon as I met her, I was at ease- it was a lot of fun! You feel beautiful and confident during the shoot. Diana has a gorgeous collection of outfits to wear, something for everyone and every style. Having my makeup done onsite was awesome. I was nervous to wear too much make up or not look like myself and the makeup artist was awesome and it worked perfectly with the photographs. The newborn shoot was so much fun! It was peaceful and Clara slept the whole time (we even closed our eyes for a break as it was a week after she was born!). The presentation of the images was wonderful and exciting. That said, I would have expected that a photographer who charges upwards of 4x other maternity photographers and who has a booking assistant would actually send the promised follow up email with package options and next steps for scheduling after the initial phone call. read more

We had such a wonderful experience with Diana. From the initial telephone consultation to ordering and receiving our newborn session photos, we were SO well taken care of by her and her staff. 1) Booking was a breeze. Despite how busy her schedule was when my due date was approaching (we decided to book two months before I was due), she still made sure she was able to fit us in. 2) The session. When the day came, we were blown away. Not only did she take so much time and care in every shot she did with our little one, but she also allowed us to contribute to the creative process. She has little ones of her own and it was so obvious with how careful (and loving!) she was with our little one. The session was not rushed whatsoever. We stopped often to feed our little one and change diapers when needed. She has a lot of new mommy supplies in the studio, which was incredibly helpful. 3) The space. Her studio is very modern and spacious. She has a zen relaxation area for the parents that is incredibly comfortable! 4) Pricing. You get what you pay for. Good, quality work that is above and beyond! 5) Prints/Images. All received quickly as promised. All images were touched up beautifully and the photo lab is quick and packages and protects your prints beautifully.
