Again! Awesome experience. Our server today remembered us from last time (almost a month ago), her name is Madeleine! What an amazing service. The food was delicious, again. Full of flavor, great seasoning, excellent biscuits, and loved the crunchy bacon. I really enjoy the coffee here, why? I don't know, it just taste really good hahaha. Atmosphere here is nice, average noise level, and you get a family feeling here. You'll see lots of regular come through as you enjoy your meal. Highly recommended!

This place is popping!!! Visited on Sunday during the SoCal rain. Even the rain didn't keep people away so that should speak for itself. We were seated about 15 min after arrival, which was not bad for the crowd size waiting around to be seated. It's a large place with indoor and outdoor seating (when it's not raining). With a classic decor and vibrant colors, I wasn't sure what to expect. The service was Excellent and the food was good. They have a variety of options to choose from (breakfast classics, sandwiches, etc). Our coffee's were topped off often which kept it hot! I had the American breakfast with house potatoes which included bell peppers & onion, bacon, scrambled eggs and sourdough toast. Overall, flavor was good, potatoes were cooked just right. I wish I would've asked for a little crispy as I like mine crunchy. Overall, everything was tasty! Everyone in my party were pleased with their meal and the service. Meal size is decent. We will be back to try other items.

Loved this place! It's so cool you feel like you are transported back in time; The interior is charming and updated yet has a very classic vibe. Very cool! I could see myself renting this place out for an awesome party (I don't know if they do that, but it would be cool!) The service was great, the energy was awesome - bustling and busy, - and the food was fine!

We decided to try Dick's church for the first time. It was well worth it our waitress was super friendly. The vibes for this restaurant are super cool. They have an outdoor patio area with a kids playground. The food was very yummy. We will definitely be coming back.

A really delicious breakfast option in Costa Mesa. I would not really call it a diner because it is a bit more upscale than that. It does have a very 1960s, early 70s vibe to it which I loved. Inside is very large and there are many different rooms with different seating options. They also have indoor and outdoor seating. There's a large free parking lot attached so we were able to find a space a few feet from the door. Our server was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out faster than expected. They have a very large menu with all sorts of classic dishes on it, but there's enough variety that you will be able to try different items during each visit. I started off with a cup of the Chili and thought it was surprisingly good. It had a very hearty flavor to it, lots of meat, and it was seasoned really well. I also loved that they covered it in onions and overall I really enjoyed it. For my breakfast I chose the Country Fried Steak because I've only heard great things about it. I can confirm it is delicious and I would recommend. It was perfectly crispy, but not overly done, and was fair in size. Overall, a really solid breakfast or lunch option if you are in the Orange County area.

Reuban sandwich ( yes I took a few bites) and Sweet Potato Fries (yes I had already eaten few)

The staff was incredibly friendly. This is such a quaint little diner with both counter seating traditional booth seating as well as outdoor seating. I had the Reuban sandwich with sweet potato fries and my mouth watered with every bite it was so delicious

Hadn't been in for about a year and decided to stop by on Sunday afternoon. The server was friendly and there wasn't a wait time at all (in the past there always was) I was a bit shocked to see us get a table right away. And noticed lots of available tables indoor and outdoor. After placing our orders and receiving the food, it made sense. Unfortunately our party of 4 all ordered a different item from the menu- and all of us were dissatisfied with our meals. I did take pictures, and I'm glad that I did for context. The chicken country fried steak was cold and all breading with no actual chicken. The fact it was cold made it that much worse. The order of French toast was also cold and burnt at the same time! Thin bread and just overall very disappointing. The tuna melt was very greasy and also came out cold. The sweet potato fries - cold and soggy. What is going on?! Why are plates being served cold when it should be hot food. We also ordered a cheeseburger and the fries were dry overcooked and brown and crispy. They looked like fries that had been sitting there all morning. Cold as well...... Overall, today's experience here will be our last. It was a waste of money honestly. I would have much rather spent 70 dollars elsewhere. Norms would have been better. So disappointed.

THE FOOD WAS SO BOMB!! we had the main burger, french toast, and breakfast carne asada burrito.. all 10/10. Not to mention the kindness the staff showed my family and I. We will be visiting again and you won't regret checking this place out either :)

Had a fantastic breakfast here on a weekend trip! My breakfast burrito was great, glad that I followed the waitress's tip to add grilled onions. One of us had the Eastside Scramble which was decent, but I was eyeballing the vegetarian Benedict! If I can make it back here, that's going to be my pick. Really impressed with how many vegetarian options there were! The spicy Bloody Mary was spot on! Also got a hot coffee since we were sitting outside on a chilly morning with the dog. The outdoor patio area was lovely and a bunch of other tables had well behaved dogs. We were there on a Sunday morning around 9 and it looked like there was a pretty full house inside, but you'd never know from the service-- prompt, courteous, friendly, checked in on us several times. Definitely going to be a repeat next time I'm in the area!

Do you have gluten free items?

Yes but they don't have separate facilities to make sure there's no contamination.

    Is this restaurant dog friendly?

Yes! Dick Chruch’s loves dogs. Furry friends are welcome at all of the outdoor seating options. The main seating area has turf on the ground, so it’s a bit more comfy than the hard cement. I have even seen a baby GOAT at brunch once! For your pet,…

How's their pork chops? Any pictures?

They are good somewhat small pieces but grilled very nicely, no I don't have pictures cause I don't take pictures of my food

And I truly believe that they are not really made out to be a full-service restaurant as much as I like their dedication and drive. I had a reservation at 7 pm. I checked in at 6:45 pm. At 7:25 pm, they brought us in and did not have a table ready for us. They made a table then after a table left 15 minutes later, they rearranged us. I do not understand why you offer reservations if you will not actually honor the system. Around 8 pm, we asked if we could order as they had only brought water. Listen I understand. You're closing soon. You only had 1 server for the entire restaurant the weekend of Valentines. You have to go lean on the busiest last weekend ..? I don't actually understand. When all came to, they were not offering dessert because "they were saving it for Valentine's Day". No notification about when their kitchen closed and no asks if anybody wanted to order for to-go. On top of that, everyone did not have free parking and had to pay upon exit even with validation. You will do great as a ghost kitchen since the food was good and everyone enjoyed it. If you come back as a full service, I would seriously reconsider how you do business.

While our favorite one was the beef slider for the classic burger vibe we were both very surprised by how crispy, meaty, yet easy to chew the pork belly slider was. The sauce and veggies kept the pork slider from being too heavy. As for the chicken slider we really liked the fry on it and how juicy it was but felt that it was too salty. - Sea Bass Crudo (5/5): Quite possibly one of the best crudos I have ever had and my favorite dish of the night. The sea bass was super meaty and fresh and the sauce gave it a very unique twist. Normally we only have refreshing light crudos but this one was a lot oilier and heavier with the chili crisp and serrano peppers. My gf found the dish too spicy but it was just right for me. - Spicy Tuna Tartare (4/5): Super refreshing and loved the chip pairing. I would have personally preferred more tuna and less avocado but I was still pretty happy with it. - Rye Punch (5/5) - Strawberry Yuzu Butter Cake (4.5/5): We were shocked by how big this dessert was especially since we were already pretty full - it looked like a challenge to finish even though we were sharing it. Really loved the light flavors and the fact that it wasn't too sweet for us. Only thing that could be better is that we couldn't really taste the yuzu. Overall (5/5): Very happy that we decided to check out the seasonal menu at Solstice! Service was great and restaurant was pretty quiet since we were there early. Parking. There is a parking lot, but it is tiny and seems like it's always full. Plan on street parking in the vicinity. They are busy (long line out the door) and there are limited seating. You wait in line to order first and the area leading to the counter is tight so people do a u-turn to get back out the way they went in. It was also very muggy this afternoon and they only had a fan running inside so I was sweating so much. It was not a pleasant experience. There's a small bar area to the right and a few tables that are oddly placed behind the nook of the doors. It's got a cute country meets beach city vibe and the decorations inside reflect that. There is more seating outside, but like I said, it's kind of limited. We luckily got a table after about 4-5 minutes, but we were kind of standing near the trash can for a bit trying to figure out what to do. It's a very tiny space/lot and with how popular it is, it's too cramped for me. With all the cyclospora stuff going on, I'm very hesitant to eat out lately and if I do, I stick to all the fried foods. I ended up getting their popular Hawaiian Cowboy Latte (iced) which was good, but the walnut milk was unexpectedly thick/decadent. I normally drink my coffee black or I do cold brew, but it has honey too so it was sweeter. I think it was too much milk for my liking. If I went back, I'd prob try their affogato. That sounded good too. I also ordered the campfire french toast. It was good. In hindsight, the coffee plus the sweet french toast was too much sweet in one sitting. It was still good and I finished it. My other coworkers got an avocado toast and the trojan horse bowl. Those looked good too and they enjoyed it. Overall, it was good and the ambience is nice, but it's overpriced for what it was. The parking and lack of seating is definitely a turn off for me. If there was more room it would be cool, but the layout was not what I had anticipated. It looked bigger in the photos other people had posted. The staff is friendly so that was nice. I'm glad I went and tried it out though.

His knowledge of the menu, detailed descriptions, and personal recommendations made ordering easy and built our anticipation for every dish. We started by sharing the beet salad and Chicken Tinga Empanadas with the Gringo Killer Sauce. The beet salad was fresh and beautifully balanced, while the empanadas were packed with rich, savory flavor. The Gringo Killer Sauce added a bold kick that made them especially memorable. My wife ordered the wedge salad, my daughter chose the Grilled Octopus Al Pastor, and I had the 8 oz Picanha special. Every dish was exceptional. The octopus was a creative and flavorful take on al pastor, and the Picanha special was perfectly cooked, tender and was an absolute standout. Juan described a peach cobbler special that immediately had my mouth watering, while my daughter ordered the Espresso Crème Brûlée. Juan returned to our table with three plates and spoons and informed me that Chef Jackie has recommended her specialty. I did not argue, Chef knows best. She surprised me by sending out something different: a slice of Baklava Cheesecake accompanied by a scoop of house-made peach cobbler ice cream. Now, I have eaten some outstanding cheesecakes all around the world, but this Baklava Cheesecake was on an entirely different level. It was rich, layered, perfectly textured and flaky, and so unbelievably delicious that I nearly licked the plate clean. The house-made peach cobbler ice cream was equally impressive--light and creamy, yet captured the full peach cobbler flavor. The Espresso Crème Brûlée was also beautifully executed, with a crisp caramelized sugar shell and a deep, smooth coffee-flavored custard. My daughter ate half of hers before turning her attention to the cheesecake, and she does not even like cheesecake. That alone should tell you how special it was. I live three hours away, but I will absolutely be making the drive back. Lemon & Thyme delivers exceptional food, thoughtful hospitality, creative dishes, and the kind of personal service that turns a meal into a lasting memory. This is my new favorite restaurant!!! Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Lemon & Thyme. Ask for Juan, trust Chef Jackie, and do not leave without desert. Chef Jackie, Juan and the rest of the staff, thank you for the amazing experience!!!

The menu isn't large but there is a range of different options . Everything we had excellent. My husband had grilled octopus Al Pastor and I had Short Rib Ravioli with a Demi glaze that was so full of flavor. They offer a nice wine list as well. Our server Robert, was great. Because of the location, you can drive right by it and not notice it . Please take the time to try this neighborhood gem.You won't be sorry.

For years, Hangar 24 has been a place where families can gather, enjoy great food and drinks, listen to live music, and allow their children to safely play and have fun. It has created a welcoming environment that appeals to a broad audience, and that family-friendly atmosphere is one of the reasons so many people continue to return. Last night, however, I noticed a significant change that concerned me. Instead of having the live band perform earlier in the evening, a DJ played first and the band performed much later. Many people, including myself, came specifically to enjoy the live band, and the new format seemed confusing to much of the crowd. As I observed throughout the evening, very few people were dancing during the DJ set. Most guests remained seated, looking uncertain about the change. In addition, some of the music selections and volume level felt inappropriate for a venue that attracts so many families with young children. I noticed several children covering their ears, and many parents appeared uncomfortable. From my perspective, Hangar 24's customer base is largely made up of families. Those families purchase food, drinks, and often stay for several hours while their children enjoy the outdoor space. By scheduling the live band later in the evening, many parents are forced to leave before the performance begins because their children are tired or it is simply too late for a family outing. If the goal is to attract a younger nightlife crowd, a better approach might be to have the live band perform earlier in the evening when families are present and then transition to a DJ later at night for guests who prefer that atmosphere. This would allow both audiences to enjoy the venue without alienating the families who have supported Hangar 24 for years. I am sharing this feedback because I genuinely enjoy coming to Hangar 24 and want to see it continue to succeed. I believe many guests share these concerns, and I hope management will carefully consider how these changes may impact the loyal family customer base that has helped make Hangar 24 such a popular destination. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, A Concerned Customer
