It's two blocks from the beach so it's very easy to grab something to eat and enjoy once I've parked myself in the sand. I've grabbed takeout so far, but I've been obsessed about BLT's lately and they make it perfectly. This is a classic diner with classic diner food. The decor is 50's diner. Great service here and they seat you immediately. We ate here a couple of times for a classic breakfast food. First time we ordered the two eggs combo and the full French toast the next time we ordered two eggs combo and Beachside breakfast. It was all good classic diner food. I usually stop by at night and get a grilled tuna sandwich on my way to work. They grill cheese on the Outside of the bread, which makes it mouth-watering delicious and something I often crave Side note..there is sadly a malicious rumor going about, that this diner on Via Lido in NB is closing. This is NOT true, so please give them a try. The food is excellent. The ambiance is cozy and neatly 'old style' the way a real diner should be. Woody's is dependably delicious, no matter which location you visit. I love their Super Spuds - they smother hashbrowns with cheese, mushrooms, avocado, sourcream and bacon bits. Really nice big slices of avocado! One time we asked for the bacon bits on the side and they gave us 2 whole slices of bacon. That was a great day! I usually order the Florentine Benedict ($21.35). My husband changes it up depending what time of day - Chicken Strips/fries ($15.95) and this time it was the Farmer's Breakfast ($21.35). We're probably the youngest ones eating here but I love that there's plenty of free (and easy) parking, service is always stellar and so friendly! I gotta give a shout out to the busser, too, because he is on top of his game and always has a smile on his face. Woody's offers classic diner food, done really well. I almost feel like Woody's is a sleeper on the peninsula. Wednesdays after 4pm is Kids Eat Free. Kids meals are $8 and big portions so it's a great deal! I love that they give kids a coloring sheet, crayons, and a cardboard classic car to play with. Sign up for the rewards program (linked to phone number & credit card) and you'll start earning $ back. This is so random, but it's stuff like this that makes Woody's stand out - on any given night my daughter may ask for extra ranch dressing, or a random slice of toast or maybe a pickle or an extra cherry on her sundae. Whatever the random request is, the staff always have smiles on their faces and never charge us extra. It's this kind of service that makes us loyal customers and so appreciative that they take the time to make my daughter feel seen and empowered. She's only 3 years old but it really means the world to her when she can use her little voice to ask for something and the server makes her feel important and goes the extra mile to make her happy. First of all the women's restroom was dirty, out of toilet paper and sadly not tended to. I ordered the Chicken blackened club and the chicken was as thin as deli meat, lettuce was old, and the fries were awful. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich and the chicken was so thin, obviously the same chicken for everything and they must of poured the whole bottle of buffalo sauce to make it look fancy. Service was very good, but the restaurant wasn't busy at all when we were there because we went early and it was during the week (we had to drop off someone early at the hospital to have surgery, so we just walked over from there)! If you park in the villa parking center you don't have to pay as it's adjacent to the villa, but other street parking costs money. We shared chicken deluxe nachos and French fries both super yummy. After circling beach parking lots for over an hour, we called it quits and decided to go someplace nearby for lunch. Despite the beach being insane, the restaurant was quiet and pretty empty. They also had free parking for the businesses in the area (including the restaurant) so that was a plus. The food was great, bathrooms were clean, but the service was awful. We barely saw our waitress, well, we saw her wondering around the restaurant not doing anything. She rarely checked on our table. The food was great however. I got the BBQ chicken wrap, I was a bit worried it would be packed with black beans but it had a good amount of chicken and other fillings as well. The fries were fresh and crispy, and I loved the BBQ ranch sauce. We also got a brownie sundae, it was really big and we were glad we decided to share instead of each getting our own dessert. read more

I came with my partner for a quick bite and it was fast service and the food came quickly because there were only like 4 other patrons there (on a Saturday late afternoon/early evening). The ambiance is better than a Denny's or ihop for sure, it's a very comfortable diner with ample seating and looked very clean. I enjoyed my build your own omelette and my partner's burger looked very juicy and he said it was good. The ingredients were fresh and tasted good/cooked well. I had breakfast at Woody's during a recent trip. OMG, if you want a fabulous treat that's not too unhealthy try the Paradise French toast! A huge portion of French toast sprinkled with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, coconut and powdered sugar! I'm pretty tiny but I wolfed down the entire thing, as my photos will attest! I was there for quite some time and the server was friendly and helpful, providing just the right amount of checking in on the meal. It's a diner so the ambience reflects that. It wasn't too noisy though. I never eat breakfast out so don't really have a comparison for the value. Parking was complementary and available and I was seated right away. Sunday 1:00pm stopped in with 4 people to grab a bite . Parking across the street in the structure was my first mistake , they have free parking in the back . The place was not too busy and we were greeted and seated . The appetizers were great and the food was good. Then the bill came with a little service charge 3% for what ? And when I complained I was shown the menu and told that they charge that on all the orders . But I could write a note to the owner on the receipt. I just don't think we need to pay a service fee on top of the bill and a 20% tip . And yes we still tip 20% it's not the severs fault the owner is just a greedy person. And short sighted . Not sure if all the Woodys diners are like this but i doubt I'll be back . read more

We stayed at a local Airbnb and rode our bikes here for breakfast. Was a typical diner menu, similar breakfast as Dennys. It was good and filling. The avocado toast was pretty good. No complaints but just typical diner menu items. Good for a family who wants pancakes, omelettes and potatoes. They do give Larger portions on the scramble.
