Swung by the service dept to have a light bulb changed for $187. While on site, I looked into what it would take to update the old whip. Needed to leave, but my key and registration were held hostage while this was sheet prepared. Fees, fees, fees - despite having no interest in any additional warranty or other add ons.

They lost a repeat customer for life!! I went in to buy a 2023 Jeep Renegade on July 3,2024. I was there five to Six hours and started the financing process. I had to take grandkids to swimming lessons we agreed that I would bring the trade in vechicle on july4th. I got a call from Bill the salesman that same evening on July 3rd. The first thing that came out of his mouth is we have a white jeep I.can sell you. I was like Wait? What? they sold the black jeep that I was in the process of buying? he said yes. I was pissed after calming down and talking to my wife she was still interested in the white jeep so he said ok and would start working on it. Then two days later never heard back. Called to talk to the GM they said they didnt have one but Amanda is floor manger acting GM. I asked them to have her call me. Amanda and I finally connected I asked her if she knew the situation and she said she was told by Bill that I had to go home and talk to my wife more about the jeep. I said thats a lie we already started the process on that jeep by trying to get financing and that I was suppose to bring the trade in on july 4th. She explained to me that Bill didnt hold on to the jeep keys that he put them back and someone else came in looked at the jeep and the keys were in the lock box which ment it was available and they sold it. She told me that when someone is securing financing that they are suppose to keep the keys so it was his fault it was sold from underneath me but she wanted those jeeps gone so she asked me how she could turn this situation around? I said by making us a better deal on this one and she said she would she was gonna go get stock number and grab keys.. So the more I thought about this whole situation the more I got mad.I was so pissed from this whole situation that I was trying to look for a ex manger who sold me my jeep at Dick Hannah. I found him at TIME Chrysler,Jeep,Ram in Portland. Guess what we went there and we were treated like royalty the saleswoman Roxanne was Awesome and Dave Erriccsen (manager) Awesome. No pressure, wasn't there for endless hours and we went home with a beautiful willy's wrangler with $11,000 miles. Time Got new members of there jeep family. They will get my repeat business and service. I highly recommend TIME dealership they believe in there customers. Oh by the way!! Dick Hanaah NEVER got back to me they could have at least called me and let me know they didn't forget about us. But nope GHOSTED again.. They need to change there slogan "Belive in Nice." Tjey don't care about customers or repeat customers it's all about the "SALE." I will NEVER buy anything from that dealership and I Will steer anyone away from them that I know that is looking. I belong to a lot of jeep groups here in Vancouver/Portland as well as online and the only place I will refer to.is TIME Chrysler, Jeep, Ram. Ask for saleswoman Roxanne and Manager Dave. They want your business and will treat you right. Here is a pic below of the jeep we got from TIME We had the best experience!!

Do not go to Dick Hanna Jeep in Vancouver, Wash. Terrible company. Liars. We were going to buy a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. They made a mistake on their end on pricing and Brett (their sales person) promised that they would honor the price and then the following day we went and got our credit pulled to get a loan. Then they back track and won't honor what they said the next day. This message was what they sent on 11/19 and then 11/20 they called and wont honor the pricing! In the middle of the conversation, "John" hung up on me. Won't make it right. We literally, spend two hours getting our loan situated, got our car cleaned and took time off. Do not go through this company!

    Thank you!

KARIM WAS AMAZING! Cannot thank him enough! Outstanding service and amazing attitude! We have been on the hunt for a car for myself as a celebration gift. And I cannot say enough positive things about this dealership and Karim. Thank you so much everybody!!!! And the lovely woman in finance was a gem. Highly recommend everyone here!

Day I took the car home 8/27/2021 zoom in on the front rotors
    Patrick S.

I Bought a used challenger from them at the end of august 2021 43k mi. The Brakes started squeaking once in a while a couple months later. I took it in to les Schwab they said the pads were fine but the rotors need looked at. I had to get stuff done already so was going to bring it up then. They already had to fix prior dents and a sunglass holder which I was told it would be done in a week. They kept pushing it back and finally 6 months later it got fixed. I been in contact with sales rep since then. February 2022 I took the car in because it is getting worse (brakes noise) and the dodge service center told me that my rotors are worn and grooved and that I need to replace both the front rotors and pads $3k. They told me that Dick Hannah should've replaced them before they sold the car. They also said there is no way I did that to the rotors in the months I had it. I have proof of pictures and sent it to them of the rotors the day we bought the car and you can clearly see the worn rotors that "passed" their inspection. I will post a picture of the rotors (front rotors) and what they should look like (rear rotors) management told me that I did that to the rotors and when I drove off the lot they were above their standard.... The sale manager I used has been awesome. It's the management that made this experience horrible as saying it's my fault for signing papers and not checking (like I know what rotors are suppose to look like) and "believe in nice" is a terrible slogan for this dealership. I was suppose to get a 12Mo 12k mile peace of mind guarantee on maintenance items. All of a sudden that doesn't apply ? Shady dealership won't make it right when it was their wrong in the 1st place especially since I have photos of the day I bought it in front of their place showing worn rotors. last.... The manger came in and said they added a warranty for us ($4,000) that I had to pay. Comes to find out it's not warranty it's a service contract that only covers electrical and minor stuff... feel ripped off not explaining that clearly just showed up all excited saying they got that for us STAY AWAY AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY ALSO

It had a few very minor scratches that were documented. I inspected the car first thing and it looked good and I asked to take it out for a drive and we began some paperwork to make it happen. The salesperson pulled the SUV into a receiving area for my test drive. While getting in, I noticed multiple vertical deep scratches on the driver's side door I hadn't noticed when I did my preliminary walkaround inspection just 20 minutes earlier. They were actually more serious than any of the minor documented scratches disclosed when the vehicle was shipped so I didn't understand how they could have been missed. I mentioned it to the sales rep upon return and was promptly dismissed. He didn't seem concerned at all and urgently ran off to return the car to the secure lot. Maybe they became more noticeable from the different lighting and direct sunlight. He mentioned later that he had trouble putting the lockbox back on the window because it kept rolling back down while he was trying to resecure it in the full up position. The plastic wind guard trim didn't help, Im sure. Apparently the car was detecting the lockbox as an obstruction as if there was a finger in the way triggering it to fully retract as a safety feature automatically, taking the lockbox down with it. I didn't think much about his comment at first, but put it all together after the fact. When the window was rolled down, the heavy lockbox Carmax struggled to hang on the window glass scratched the door...multiple times as they were fussing with it. The scratches are vertically aligned and exactly below where the lockbox was. Most scratches are horizontal, so these were odd looking. They weren't disclosed in the car listing because the car was most likely damaged in the care of Carmax after I paid to have it shipped. Since I am already into the car for shipping costs, no matter what I do, even if I return it, I'm out at least the $800 I sunk in shipping. So even walking away would be really expensive. The 2023 SUV only had 5K miles on it. Now I own it, and it looks like hell. I'm actually ill over this for not being more assertive. They ruined a really great SUV and stuck me with their sloppy damage and negligence. It looks like it was aggressively keyed. What I ordered and shipped, wasn't what I got. Now I get to drive it around, potentially for years, looking like someone who gets their car keyed. BUYER BEWARE. Don't give Carmax ANY money in advance. Don't have a car shipped. Just wait for the right one to pop up locally. Before you drive away, do a final inspection and match up any damage with what was originally disclosed.

In just one month of ownership, the vehicle has already been brought in for service three separate times (not including the other two occasions I've left the car for diagnostic). I most recently picked the car up from servicing 2/2/2026, only to have the service engine light turn back on almost immediately (2/3/2026). I was informed by the dealership that their diagnostic equipment does not provide in‑depth readings, and that I may need to take the vehicle to Mercedes for proper diagnosis, entirely at my own expense. Being told I could be financially responsible for continued mechanical issues on a vehicle I have owned for barely a month is unacceptable. This situation has caused significant inconvenience, including repeatedly having to arrange alternative transportation while the car is being serviced. Purchasing a vehicle should come with reliability and peace of mind--not constant breakdowns, repeat service visits, and uncertainty from the start. I regret purchasing this vehicle from Dick Hannah / Dick Says Yes dealerships. Based on the repeated mechanical failures, unresolved engine issues, and the short time frame in which all of this has occurred, I strongly believe I was sold a lemon. At no point during the sales process was I advised of existing or ongoing mechanical issues. Now, after the purchase, I am being told that I may ultimately be responsible for repair costs related to problems that have existed since the vehicle was sold to me. Due to the seriousness and persistence of these issues, I am actively seeking further resolution through formal consumer‑protection and legal avenues, including: Washington State Lemon Law Administration (Office of the Attorney General) Washington State Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division BBB Auto Line Other purchaser‑rights and consumer protection agencies Potential legal consultation regarding Washington State Lemon Law protections I am posting this review across multiple platforms to document my experience and seek proper resolution. I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to proceed with caution and to be fully aware of the risks involved.

I was very clear from the start that I needed to confirm a few specific mechanical details before making the drive from south of Portland. Specifically I asked for a cold start video to listen for engine health and a quick confirmation on whether the coolant pipes had been upgraded to aluminum. These are deal breaker items on these cars and it takes less than two minutes to check. Despite calling the main office and texting both the business line and a personal line for a salesman named Chris I got absolutely nowhere. I waited over 24 hours for a simple response and was met with total silence. If a dealer cannot be bothered to provide basic transparency or even a "we are working on it" text to a vetted buyer with an appointment then they are telling you exactly how they operate. It feels like they are just waiting for someone who won't ask the right questions about the car's history. I ended up cancelling my visit because the lack of communication is a massive red flag for any major mechanical issues they might be hiding. If you value your time or want a seller who actually stands behind their inventory I would suggest looking elsewhere.

He only sells cars that are in great shape, often managing to find what I call "car unicorns" (one-owner cars with great maintenance records from states without road salt or flooding). Two: if Mitch doesn't happen to have the right car for you, you can use him as a sort of "car sommelier." He'll help you figure out what kinds of cars you might like (which was super helpful for me), steer you away from bad years or bad models, and then, when you know what you want, he'll source you a great car. When the car arrives in PDX, he'll take it to a reputable mechanic to make sure it's in tip top shape. We were definitely going to use Mitch to source a car for us, but, alas, we unexpectedly found our own extremely rare "unicorn" at a different dealer.
