I was so sad when the Burnsville location closed because it's really hard to find a location that cooks the fried okra well, but this one does! I ordered a double order of okra and got SO much!

Decent BBQ joint in Eagan if you can find it. It is kind of off the road in a more industrial part of town which makes it an odd choice to find in such a place. Because of the location though, it is not super crazy busy during the lunch or dinner hour so that you can get in and out fairly quickly. Staff are always on point and serve you quickly and efficiently. Dickey's always gives you plenty of food for the price and their sides never disappoint. I especially like the waffle fries and loaded smashed potatoes. Their chopped brisket is great and is always a good first option for a meat platter. Of course, nothing beats free ice cream which you can find at this location as well. Dickey's isn't my favorite fast casual BBQ joint out there but it fits the bill when I am craving some good Texas brisket and BBQ.

Way to execute some good bbq! Folks working are awesome. I was on on business from Texas and this place felt like the Dickey's I'm used to. Met the owner so awesome to see franchise owners involved. Just makes me feel like there's actual care put into here and the employees are valued. All that leads to me having some good bbq and Mac n cheese that's not dried out :)

Just came here from the Saint Paul location sorely disappointed and still hungry. This location showed me why I'll keep going to Dickey's! Ordered the one meat platter with brisket and double onion tanglers. Everything was amazing! The roll came out fresh and we were brought an item to the table that was still cooking when we ordered. Full drink menu and free ice cream cones. This is definitely a great location and will be back for sure

Free soft serve vanilla ice cream with cone too.

The interior is modern and inviting, with some fun wallpaper making a statement. We cozied up to the bar during this visit. I will say that bar was a bit sloppy during our visit...bartenders' water bottles cluttering the visible space, bartenders spilling our drinks a bit during delivery, and weird transitions of staff that were a bit distracting. The Espresso Martini was the best item I ordered! Well balanced and the addition of the cold foam really made for an enjoyable sip. Would absolutely return for that one! The bites we ordered had great flavor, but some fell a bit flat when trying to live up to their creative ideas. The Fried Pickles were the best food item: perfectly crispy medallions with two delicious dipping sauces. The "burnt ends" cauliflower are really just roasted cauliflower with BBQ sauce on top, missing out on the umami juiciness of their namesake. The Chips that came with the Dip were just ruffled potato chips, not housemade or interesting. Solid spot for happy hour if you're looking in the area!

Very reasonable for the quality and vibe. We ordered the cauliflower burnt ends, fried pickles, and chips & dip. Everything came out flavorful and fresh. The cauliflower especially was a standout -- seasoned well with that perfect texture. The staff was helpful and very informative, which I always appreciate when trying a spot for the first time. The atmosphere gives after-work energy -- a place where you can unwind with coworkers or commune with family and friends. And the background tunes were on point. Happy Hour is getting a 4.5/5 from me. I'll definitely be back to keep this series going.

The restaurant has a bar-and-grill atmosphere, which makes sense given the brewery focus. It felt lively but still comfortable for a holiday dinner, and the menu offered several appealing choices both for the special and on the regular menu. We started with shrimp, which was cooked properly and had a good texture--firm and enjoyable without any rubbery or off-putting qualities. The French onion soup was a comforting course and fit the meal well. For the main, I ordered the burger, which was solid and satisfying. While not flashy, it was well prepared and enjoyable. A standout side was the sweet potato fries, which were exceptionally crisp with just the right amount of salt--easily some of the best I've had in a while. The dessert rounded out the meal nicely and completed the four-course experience. Nothing during the meal disappointed me; everything we had was good and well executed. Service was pleasant and professional. Our server was friendly and attentive, though the kitchen timing was a bit slow. We did notice that a few tables seated after us received their food sooner, but it wasn't enough to detract significantly from the overall experience. At $69 for a four-course Valentine's Day meal, the special felt like a good deal, offering variety and solid quality without feeling overpriced. Overall, Granite City delivered a comfortable, enjoyable holiday dinner with reliable food and good value.

Solid start. Then came my entrée, the Mediterranean chicken. And let me tell you... those tomatoes were not behaving. They tasted like they took a wrong turn on the way from the garden and picked up some strange personality along the way. They looked sad and faded like they'd just been told their vacation got canceled. The rest of the dish tried its best, but the tomatoes were such little troublemakers that the whole thing landed at a 5/10 for me. Not bad, not great, just "yeah... that happened." They took our order and they delivered our food just fine. Prompt. I think the ambiance is decent there, although it would be nice not to get seated in the middle of the room.

Service was slow throughout our visit, but we could see our server was working consistently the entire time. We had cheese curds to start. They were good, with a nice light breading, but not a lot for the $15 price tag. The drink selection was nice--the tap list is huge; my husband had a beer while I was happy to have a cider. Our son had a Coke. My husband enjoyed his burger. I snagged one of his fries and found it tasty. Our son had the BBQ cracky mac. The portion was huge! He found it a bit sweet for his liking, but I tried a bite and found it tasty. I had the steak salad. Again, a nice large portion. It had a lot of tomatoes, which I enjoyed as they were delicious and ripe, but other people might be put off by the balance. In all, a good meal.

Walking inside the first thing I noticed was the lack of decor and warmth in this place. The pictures are hanging up spaced unevenly. The boards above the booths are not screwed into the wall. It honestly looks and feels tacky. There is a lack of decor and the lighting is too harsh. It feels like someone is moving out. Our server and the other employees, are the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. They were absolutely lovely and helped one another out. Our water glasses were filled multiple times and our server was very sweet. The food: we started with a beer and mojito. The beer was good. The Mojito was too strong and too sweet. It was really strange... Then we had the lobster bisque. It was very peppery and lacked flavor. There was only one piece of lobster and it had a strange after taste to it. The jerk chicken nachos were awesome is flavor but sooo greasy. See the pictures. I got the hot chicken and waffles. The texture of the chicken was great!! And the waffles were tasty! But these chicken tenders are very spicy and I could only get through half the meal. I would love if you could pick a non spicy version!! My boyfriend got a lobster roll and said it was good not great and the fries were pretty standard. We will not be back to this location. If you want to try this place, I would recommend the Bloomington location!
