Alright. So I love Dickey's BBQ. The food's flavorful and consistent. It's affordable and right down the street. I did not know when I ordered takeout this evening to satisfy some intense cravings what truly lay in store. Tonight... Well tonight was something special. Once upon a time I went to a different Dickey's (It Which Must Not Be Named) and was so stoked to pour sweet and spicy BBQ sauce ALL over my sliced brisket...and then it happened...THEY FORGOT THE SAUCE AND I WAS ALREADY HOME. HOW DO YOU EAT BRISKET WITHOUT BBQ SAUCE!?! *deep breathes* So you can see I have a deep, spiritual connection with this BBQ sauce. You can see how risky it would be for me to order again from a new location...what if I missed out on the sauce... AGAIN!?! But I was feeling brave. So I ordered. I ordered curbside delivery but after almost 40 minutes after ordering no one appeared I decided to go in and get it myself. Upon entering I saw why, there was only one person working in the store at 3pm on a Tuesday. No big deal. I get my order and head home. Upon looking through my items I find jalapeño beans that look like they either scraped the last bits off of the pan or gave me someone's cast off (pic included). TERRIBLE PORTIONS!!! What made my experience the worst was THE SERVICE!!! The dude that was helping me didn't even look up at me a d didn't a say a word, the young girl working with him was just on her phone the entire time not even looking up at any customers walking in, as I asked the guy some questions about the meats he had a bad attitude, like he didn't want to answer any of my questions. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I would give this place zero stars if Yelp gave us the option! One of the worst experiences we have ever had, from any food establishment, ever! We came in around 8 pm on a Monday night and were greeted (or lack there of) by a bunch of kids with bad attitudes working there. We ordered a 3 meat plate with what was supposed to be brisket burnt ends, ribs, and cheddar jalapeño kielbasa. The brisket burnt ends were absolutely disgusting! They weren't even true burnt ends, it was more like brisket scraps consisting mostly of fatty pieces, that were torched to a crisp. We couldn't even eat the brisket burnt ends. The ribs were extremely fatty and the little bit of meat that was on them was chewy and tasted like rubber drowned in bbq sauce. The kielbasa was the only edible meat we received but even that was very dry. All of the meat tasted like it was cooked 3 days ago and kept in food warmers until we can in and ordered it. It definitely wasn't fresh. All in all, I wouldn't have fed that meat to my dogs it was that bad! The baked potato casserole and brisket chili we got for sides tasted off. They also put some fries in our bag that we didn't order and it's a good thing we didn't pay for them because they were limp, soggy, and it tasted like they were fried in old oil. We had to throw away 90% of our $25 dinner because it made us sick to our stomachs. It's really disappointing how far down hill this place fallen! We used to enjoy Dickey's BBQ but we will not be dining here again. I highly recommend people avoid this place and if you're in the mood for good BBQ, take your business to Badlands BBQ in Norco! read more

These guys are awesome! The two guys working today had a smile on their face were very welcoming and were super attentive. They seemed to be out of a few things and were looking to accommodate ever person who came in to order! The guy at the meat counter, I think his name was Daniel, was kind. The cashier, I think his name is Joel, was friendly and made you feel at home! My family member owned a Dickeys and it's my favorite. This location is close and we have been there several times. Arrived at dinner time on a Friday. Not busy at all. Could not figure out why. We ordered a rib plate and another meat plate. Told the clerk preparing it says Texas toast not a roll. He corrected me and I said that's not what the sign says. My husband said the same thing. He came to look at the menu sign and said "we've been lied to all this time!" They didn't know. From there there were lots of disappointments : ac is out and has been for a long time, ice cream machine was broken and removed, out of several sides, floor look like they haven't been mopped, bathroom, dispenser and toilet dispenser, both broken, toilet, broken door, broken ice machine was out of ice and seem to be broken, they were turning away delivery people picking up orders and people walking in that wanted to go orders because they had now to go containers! I sent one of the clerks to Vons to buy some but after 10 minutes never saw him come back he didn't run didn't move with any urgency. How do you run out of so many things and especially to go containers on a Friday night and actually have to turn our way business. This is not on the staff working . This is on Management. First, I watched the worker cutting the meet serve 5 people ahead of me with a mask on but only covering his mouth and not his nose. All while leaning over everyone's meat. The manager was right there and never said anything. This is the 3rd time I've gone and they seem to be out of things. I waited 30minutes. Out of potatoes, for the large baker. Ok, so I move to another option. Out of Turkey. The main worker doing just about everything while the rest appear to just be standing there. This isn't the first time this has happened. I told them to forget my order and I was going to go somewhere else. (I wasn't rude about it like I could have been after waiting that long and not one person even greeting me when I walked in.) Since the Riverside Plaza location has gotten so bad, we tried this location yesterday. This is the first Dickey's we ever tried, and we used to come here a lot when it first opened. Yesterday, I ordered a rack of ribs, a pulled pork sandwich and some jalapeno-cheddar sausage. The ribs were dry and not very flavorful. The pulled pork was cold. The sausage was ok, but probably should have been cooked a bit more. There were a few racks of ribs just sitting out on the cutting board along with the pulled pork. The warmer was open with a tray pulled out the entire time my order and the order before me was prepared. The place was filthy. Like the Riverside Plaza location, this place deserves one star but I gave it two out of respect for how good it used to be. read more

We have been long-time residents of Eastvale and have enjoyed Dickey's BBQ on Limonite for years. Today was an eye-opener! Walked in the door and immediately my shoes stuck to the floor, I noticed the floors have been "cleaned" with dirty water for a long time...lots of build-up. The staff who took our order were very nice and efficient. The music was playing a bit loud, had to raise our voices to have a conversation. Once we sat down, the table-tops were sticky and the wooden chairs have a great amount of stickiness to them when you move them to sit. The food tray that was used to plate my food was wet and very greasy, glad there were two sheets of parchment paper on it! In all honesty, I wasn't able to enjoy my meal as I kept checking out the surroundings and large amounts of built up grime throughout the restaurant. This place had some passable BBQ, was at Chase Bank near by thought I would order 2 x 2 item special. All brisket for both, fried Okra and Potato salad for each plate. Added large yellow drink as well. Went to pick it up, they don't have fried Okra, so I was ok with all potato salad. They don't have big yellow cups, gave me 2 small ones, though I don't like it either but ok. Picked up my brisket and drove home. Brisket was sliced with the grain of the meat, who slice brisket that way for both orders??? (See picture) Instead of nice fall apart texture I get long strands of meat, on top of that it is dry most likely the way they cut the meat all juices left the brisket. Even had a piece that seem to have fallen into water or I hope it only fell into water... Now that I thought about it when I ordered this I left 0% tip, waited until I pick up the food and gave them 15%... Did I get this bad service because they thought I did not leave a tip? Very disappointed with this place. As the old saying goes "There are too many cooks in the kitchen". Meaning there are too many people involved in placing orders and everything gets mixed up. I understand working as a team but it's a little much when you are having to repeat yourself. They were out of jalapeño kielbasa...okay I'll have chicken instead...nope...out of chicken. I ordered food via the dickeys app on 7/18/23 around 5:45pm to be picked up at 6:30pm, total was around $72. Arrive at the restaurant at 6:30 to find the doors locked, lights off, and a sign indicating that the A/C had broke and they had closed. The amount of the order is still pending on my bank account, I have sent numerous email to the support email indicated on the website, called the store numerous times, but with no response whatsoever, or any effort to rectify the issue. The menu was much more extensive than I remembered from long ago. You can buy by the pound or get sandwiches and meals. We had to get burnt ends! Unfortunately, we gave them a try and it it was a fail. Ordered through the app and when picking up order, was told that there was no baker potatoes and were out of ribs. This should of been indicated on the app when ordering and not when picking up order. Everyone's time is important. This place has gone completely downhill since the last manager Omar left. Clearly the management here is unaware and lacks structure with her nighttime staff. The daytime crew is great always friendly and provide great service. The night time staff is absolutely horrendous! They are two heavier set males who were completely rude and made no effort to serve us. My husband placed a mobile order and we waited about 20 mins then came by the restaurant to pick it up and no order was to be found. The cashier Brendan promised he would serve us after the customer he was serving at the moment. Ok no problem. But then we were completely ignored. We tried to get their attention and we were treated rudely and told they were working on our sides. Yet when we came home no sides were in the bag. Also was given a pork sandwich instead of chicken and the brisket sandwich was not chopped up just two big slaps thrown on the bread and they gave NO sauce at all. So two plain sandwiches that weren't even what we ordered with no sides and the soda machine was flat. Worst part about it we initially asked for a refund but was told no manager was there so we couldn't!
