Ok, first I do love dickeys so it is hard to write this, but I got to be honest. I know customer input to management is important. This was not my usual experience here. Saturday around 11:30. No music or TV on, dead quiet. Employees were friendly. Went to order and noticed a few roaches scurrying on the floor by my feet trying retreat under the wood trim. Yuck. I told an employee who came and disposed of one of them with his hands. Said he was going to wash them after . Place needs a serious cleaning and on- going bug control program. I had the chopped brisket sandwich. Bun was flat like a tortilla and the meat was not chopped up very well at all. Green beans were sad, kind of puréed, mostly not whole. Total waste of $30. Love Dickey's BBQ, except for the one on W.10th in Greeley. Ordered the $24 for 2 special online. Prices started at $27 and went up from there. Went and picked up our order, brought it home to eat. Every piece of meat was burnt and dry, I love burnt ends but this was burnt shoe leather. Even the Kielbasa was dry and tasteless. What really amazed me were the rolls, usually warm and moist. Hard as rocks, in fact couldn't even tear them apart to scatter for the birds. Worse service ever! Ordered online. Was told be there by 6:45. I ordered it at 6:15. Husband got there at 6:40 ish. We checked in and sat. At 6:50 I called spoke with Amanda who was super rude on the phone. Said 5 more minutes. We didn't get our food until 7:07 pm. When I called she fed me excuse after excuse! Because our immunity is compromised we are very careful about ordering food. I placed an order under the impression that they would bring our order to the car. Their website said "curbside delivery". It also said they would "notify us when ready. " We drove up at 6 and had no email. I called and asked and the girl said I had to come in and get my order. It wasn't quite ready and not all of their customers were wearing masks. If you are not going to bring it to my car please don't put me at risk. Please change your ad to read walk-in or delivery. Had dinner there last night. Brisket was chewy and not very good, the spicy cheddar sausage was fairly tasty but only lukewarm as were the barbeque beans. I like hot food My wife also had the brisket and the ham and the mac n cheese, took one bite of the mac n cheese and never touched it again, the ham was dry, overcooked and tasteless. The brisket was cut with the grain, not across as it should be...long chewy pieces are not good. The fried onion pieces were pretty good, the only descent item we had. Will not be going there again. My family recently moved to Greeley and Dicky's BBQ was very close to our house. We moved from an area that had some good BBQ restaurants but we were glad to find Dicky's here in Greeley, especially for a town that doesn't have a lot of options (except for Mexican food).
