The atmosphere was nice and our server was wonderful! Notes (mostly to self): *The Flo's Filet was good but maybe not enough to warrant the price, I'd probably try something else if I came back. A few pink spots (I ordered well done) but not egregious. *I didn't love the mashed potatoes, they were a bit cold and had a flavor I didn't quite recognize or vibe with. *The parmesan-crusted fries were a bit much, the cheese and toppings didn't pull apart easily and it was hard to eat, plus the crema sauce had an almost mustardy flavor I didn't like (the same would be true for anything "parmesan crusted") *The table across from us ordered broccoli and the smell was enough to fill the room...I know broccoli can have a strong fragrance but it seemed on the edge of having gone bad although the eater didn't seem to mind...it may have been a fluke but it scared me from ever ordering broccoli here in the future haha *The caesar salad flavor was fine but had some texture to it (garlic, parmesan, etc.), I didn't finish it but would order again. *I was hoping for the molten lava dessert to be a bit more flavorful, warmer, and melt-in-your-mouth (it was almost a bit chewy/spongey); nonetheless it was a fun treat! We decided to go to LongHorn for our weekly date night, and as usual, it did not disappoint. We love a good steak, and this is definitely one of our favorite steak spots. We were seated immediately even though the place was semi-busy, which was a great start to the evening. Our server was phenomenal -- she kept our drinks full the entire time and was quick and attentive without being overbearing. Service like that really makes the experience even better. I didn't order a traditional appetizer, but I did get the loaded potato soup -- and wow. It was absolutely delicious. It had hearty chunks of potato, plenty of cheese, and was perfectly creamy. Topped with bacon and chives, it was served nice and hot (but not so hot that it burned your mouth). Honestly, it was perfect. For my entrée, I ordered the steak and shrimp. The steak was cooked exactly how I asked and had great seasoning. The shrimp were phenomenal -- flavorful and cooked just right. I also loved my sides; everything on the plate complemented each other so well. Of course, I had to finish the night with dessert. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake because cheesecake with strawberries is my favorite. It was rich, creamy, and indulgent. The strawberries were sweet and topped with that classic strawberry glaze that just pulls it all together. Several staff walked by but did not stop. We asked for a table - 2 of us - and in an empty restaurant were offered either the table by the kitchen or the one facing the restroom. This USED TO BE our go-to dinner place until our terrible experience tonight. First, one of our orders was missing 1/2 of the order. When they finally brought the almost-correct order (the steak was rare instead of medium rare but we weren't about to send it back AGAIN) about 10 minutes later the rest of the party had nearly finished eating. When the service manager (Riley?) came to check on us, we asked if we could get some discount due to the meal taking so long, he was very rude. And our waiter later told us that Riley would not authorize him to take anything off the check. Our waiter was kind enough to give us a free dessert because he didn't need authorization for that. Lastly we had to send the check back twice because it was incorrect. I can excuse a lot but everything took sooooo long; and I definitely do not accept rudeness; not only were we paying customers, but we had been there so many times that a couple of waiters recognized us and said Hello. (May have remembered us because we are very good tippers...) Too bad one manager with a bad attitude ruined what had always been a pleasant experience before. It a 4-star rating because of the appetizer(s); we ordered the Texas Tonion...way to big for 2 people. To the management...why not have family size AND personal size appetizers? I had the nine ounce "flo" steak cooked medium with a baked potato side and a hand chopped salad with vinaigrette. The steak was done exactly the way his ordered and it was pretty good actually. However the stuffed baked potato was lacking in the stuffed part. I did ask for some extra sour cream which helped out but would have liked to seen a lot more other stuff inside the potato when it came to the table. Food was ok, the sweet potato was very bland and I wasn't asked if i wanted any toppings, I assumed it came with some which was not the case. The steak was decent. I would say the service was the downfall our waiter was very cold, he hardly stopped to talk to our table, just rushing by saying something in passing and leaving. Saturday evening and there's a wait. Nice to have benches outside and they text you when your table is ready. Clean table, and as I wait for my food, I noticed that the tables are wiped onto a tray. Unlike many places where they wipe onto seats, then onto the floor! Ribeye: done perfectly, although on the salty side. I didn't care for the seasoned salt on my steak but that's just me. Side of mushrooms and sweet potato were delicious. So was the complimentary bread and butter, and real butter, not the whipper butter that leaves a coating on the roof of your mouth. Caesar salad: very fresh. Could have used a little more dressing but overall no complaints. Sangria: peach. It's sweet! Good when the ice dilutes a little. Loved: good silverware plus the steak knives have the right weight. Glasses for water is nice. Service is great. Pay at your table by scanning the QR code. Chocolate cake: huge and amazing! The noise level can get loud. To go containers: small rectangular ones not the large square ones. Apparently we are not allowed those as they are reserved for takeout only. Best dinning experience in quite a while. Returned to FoCo, from out of state this week, and remember previous experiences at Longhorn Steakhouse, so we went for dinner. Plenty of parking. Greeted entering into the restaurant. We all had the NY Steak dinner. The bar drinks were spot on. All the food was fresh and delicious. The meat was tender and juicy. And the service was excellent! Definitely will return again. During this time of the month, downtown restaurants are uber-busy and can be long waits. Glad we went. And recommend to friends and family. read more

Cooked beautifully too, would expect nothing less from a steakhouse of course, and they didn't disappoint :) also ordered it with a Shrimp Skewer that could give a seafood restaurant a run for its money. Placed a large to go order for our Women's Basketball team (24 people) and it was so easy and a great experience. I was able to email my order ahead of time with all the details and picked everything up on time with everything labeled with names. The colleague who helped me take all of the bags off the bus ended up missing one of the bags (we didn't discover this until later) and so I had thought we were missing 3 entrees. The manager was so amazing about it and had them cook fresh ones and hand delivered them to our hotel. I later called and apologize once we made the missing bag discovery and he was still extremely nice about it. Definitely would recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was too! For a steak house, I feel they should be spot on for steak Temps. My medium steak was more like medium well/towards well with no juice(super dry). The food was tasty, and the appetizers were super cheesy tasted good, but just an overload on cheese, more for the mushrooms appetizer. Service took a while to get to our table, wait to get a set wasn't that bad (party of 4) the ambiance was like a typical chain restaurant nothing to crazy. We come here all the time, this will be the last time. I called at 12, party of 11 people, I was told to call back at 3 for a reservation at 4pm and talk to a manager. The manager told me they don't do call ahead on weekends and they also will not move tables together so my son's birthday party will need to sit at separate tables. Once we arrived they sat 4 separate parties total 14 people, that came after us. They then told us they would not seat us until more staff comes in. They went to seat us at 2 separate tables after waiting for 20 minutes. We then requested the big table in the back that sat all of us comfortably, and we are not small people.
