    Steak salad
    Steven G.

We came at lunchtime around 130 on a Sunday and it was not very busy. We were seated quickly with great friendly servers and our server McKenna was super-friendly very knowledgeable and very helpful. Everything that we ordered was delicious. No disappointments here with the food or service. We shall come back again soon, Lord willing!

My wife brought me here for my birthday and LongHorn did not disappoint. Thank you, Sebastian for making my birthday celebration wonderful! The service was amazing and my steak and lobster were on point delicious. We had a wonderful corner booth with relaxing ambiance. Thank you again for a great birthday!

9 oz flo steak and stuffed potato
    Mark F.

I had the nine ounce "flo" steak cooked medium with a baked potato side and a hand chopped salad with vinaigrette. The steak was done exactly the way his ordered and it was pretty good actually. However the stuffed baked potato was lacking in the stuffed part. I did ask for some extra sour cream which helped out but would have liked to seen a lot more other stuff inside the potato when it came to the table. Our wait person was very friendly and very attentive so no complaints there The restaurant looks clean and organized so no complaints there.

We needed food and we needed a lot of it, so we headed to our favorite barbecue joint in town. Everyone at the counter was masked and gloved up, which is always a good start! I ordered the three meat platter with smoked chicken wings, brisket and pulled pork, selecting potato salad and baked beans as the sides. After a short wait, the huge tray was set down in front of us and we dug in. The smoked wings are some of the best wings I've had in Fort Collins! Tender, crispy and piping hot! The brisket was a little tougher than I had hoped, but still full of flavor. The pulled pork stole the show, however - juicy and falling apart on the plate with just the right amount of sizzling fat, drizzled with a sweet and slightly tangy barbecue sauce. Originally we had thought that we'd have leftovers to reheat at home but, as you can see, that didn't happen. We demolished the plates and ripped through the perfectly prepared potato salad and maple-sweet baked beans, then debated getting dessert. The debate was short and we rounded out the meal with a container of banana pudding that had notes of cinnamon and vanilla, topped traditionally with a Nilla wafer. Once the meat sweats stop (SO. MUCH. MEAT), we'll be heading back for another mountainous platter!

They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.

After placing your order, they give you a number to place on your table and the staff brings your food to your table. From there, you're basically on your own. Drinks, napkins, ketchup, silverware, and to-go containers are easily accessible close to the bar area so you can help yourself. This simplifies the experience so you can get whatever you need without staff assistance. You'll also leave your dishes and trash by the bin on your way out. My favorite spice level is the Nashville hot. It has the perfect seasoning without being overly salty. My go-to order is the wedgie garden veggie salad that includes mixed greens with bacon, blue cheese, tomato, snap peas, red onion. Ranch, Honey Mustard, Red Wine Vin, or Lemon Vin. You can choose crispy tenders, thigh, grilled breast, or tempeh with your wedgie salad. I choose the tenders and the salad comes with two of them. I also order a side of the fries. I always leave with leftovers and feel so full at the end of my meal. Music City Hot Chicken is one of my top picks to get good chicken in FoCo. I highly recommend!

Unfortunately my piece of chicken on my sandwich had one of those tough tendons throughout it so I could not bite it easily. But the overall flavors on the sandwich blended well and were delicious.
