Fraud! Additional charge not authorized by me!
    Jenni D.

This place is a fraud with no core ethics or values. I contracted for an event to be catered, receipt below. I did not tip on the invoice because I tipped $150 cash when the "owner" delivered (he was an older/thinner man with grey hair). I paid the invoice in full 7/24, my event was 8/10. On 8/26 my credit card was charged $50. When I asked why I was told I added a tip. NO I did not, someone in the restaurant decided to add their own tip. AND their own contract states all taxes and tips will be included and paid ON or BEFORE event date! This is fraud! Stay away unless you want your credit cards ran for unauthorized charges. **UPDATE - The manager refused to call me, and I emailed headquarters like asked and have not received a response. Goes to show how poor their service is as well**

The item that was supposed to be Texas toast.

I was so disappointed. I ordered the 3 meat dinner with 2 sides and Texas toast. The brisket was OK. The kielbasa was OK. The smoked turkey was thinly sliced turkey lunchmeat. The mac & cheese was that frozen processed mac & cheese that taste like the cardboard container that it was in. The hit a salad was packaged deli type, store-bought potato salad that you can't even get down and if you get it down, it's gonna come back at you all day. The Texas toast was a piece of white bread. I went out to my car to have a bite of things before I went back to work and I actually went back in to ask if they could toast the bread. He mumbled something and in a few minutes, I had a piece of toast in my hand. I asked about butter and possibly garlic. He gave me a little cup of a hard piece of butter to put on it. No customer service and very poor quality food.

Food was served super fast. Staff is friendly & its family owned. It closed for a bit but is re-opened! Ribs and Brisket were so tender. Baked potato was done so well I used a plastic fork. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Music playing low but adds a nice vibe. For fathers day I saw them give 2 dads free kids meals for their kids with their meal purchase. What a standup thing to do on fathers day!

It's chain bbq - which is gonna be an ok experience not life changing. This is a pretty good spot to get some meat, veg, and drinks. The meat reminded me of grilled meat but cooked low and slow, not very much smokey flavor or smoke rings. This is definitely not ideal, but their sides, drinks and speed of service was actually pretty spectacular. The texas toast definitely needs an upgrade, I was unsure whether it was buttered or not, it definitely had seasoning but it was dry toast with dried seasonings. The fries were an excellent and unexpected treat with the rosemary herb blend on them, and their bbq sauces were heated and pretty tasty. Definitely don't mind going back, and a few things here or there and it would be great, but for a chain this is pretty awesome.

Fried Okra, Bacon & Onion Green Beans, Brisket, Pulled Pork and a dinner roll

When you have a hankering for BBQ, Dickey's gets the job done. Their food is consistent (given they're a chain I wouldn't expect anything less) but I will say, some items on their menu are super overpriced. Their combo plates are definitely always the best value. My go to is the 2 item plate (2 choices of meat, 2 sides and a choice of bread), for $21 it is super filling and a great value. Their mac and cheese is great, their green beans and onions are savory, their fried okra and frizzled onions always hit the spot. Now, let's talk about the lack of value in ordering a slider. Their brisket slider was $5.75 and literally is about the size of a tennis ball cut in half. I came to realize that the slider is made up of their dinner roll (the same dinner roll you can choose as part of the combo plate) with a small pile of brisket, adorned by a full on slice of white onion. The onion was the star of the show with the brisket being the plus one. Overall, Dickey's is solid BBQ, go with a combo plate, try their brisket and pork ribs, try all their sauces, and unless you're just looking to spend some extra cash, pass on the slider, opt for a dinner roll as your bread option in the combo and build your own

The burger is thick and really juicy, great bun and aioli. The fries are perfectly crispy. The pizza had a really great, I'm assuming wood-fired, crust. The duck was tender and sweet and there was a lot of arugula. It's a sparser craft pizza, which is just so delicious when you are looking for something a little heavy but not over the top. While they boast about their craft beer offerings, they have a great cocktail list as well, and I love that they have a specific whiskey cocktail section as well, with a few that are less common at some bars. The Brooklyn is probably my favorite, but you can't really go wrong. Also, a fellow patron asked for a Toronto and the bartender was happy to look it up and make it for him. And what about the atmosphere here?! It's so wonderful in summer! With its narrow design giving a sense that an entire wall opens to the outside and the patio that extends beyond, it feels Ike you are vacationing somewhere tropical and beachy. This somehow combines really well with the industrial vibe of the interior. They also have some TV's for sports. The service is very friendly, attentive, interactive, and helpful. One thing that was consistent across my three visits, however, was the feeling that the place is always understaffed, so things tend to move slowly. I'm not sure this is the case, it's just the feel you get when it happens the times you visit. This is a bit of a double-edged sword though, since it's such an easy place to just want to sip and nibble slowly while delving into conversation. So, that's not enough to detract a star for now, and honestly I'm already thinking about when I get to eat here again!

From the humble, communal meals of ancient Rome to the opulent court banquets of the Renaissance, and ultimately to the modern emphasis on raw ingredients and global popularity, Italian cuisine has undergone nearly three thousand years of transformation. The ambiance is absolutely wonderful, and the lighting is super cozy--it's honestly the ultimate date spot. The staff is exceptionally well-trained and always smiling. From greeting and seating us to pouring water and offering menu recommendations, the service was seamlessly executed and truly top-notch. In Italian cuisine, there are two hallmarks of an exceptional Risotto: 1. All'onda: When a spoonful is placed on a plate and gently shaken, the risotto should spread smoothly and fluidly like a wave--neither sticking together like a dense clump of rice nor separating into liquid and grain. 2. Al Dente: The rice grains absorb all the rich flavor of the broth, remaining soft on the outside while retaining a subtle firmness and bite at their core. The salad dressing has a wonderfully balanced flavor, and every dish is served in perfectly portioned, bite-sized pieces. Highly recommended!

On top of that she just kind of gave a "I don't want to be here and I'm annoyed" vibe. After we got our bill we noticed that some of the charges were incorrect. She started explaining that we had ordered the kids burrito not taco, even though we definitely ordered, she definitely inputted, and we were most certainly delivered a kids taco. She then said that we needed to clearly specify that it was a kids lemonade even though it was clearly implied that the lemonade was for a child.
