Bad customer experience with the bike repair service at the Bellevue DICK'S Sporting Goods store. I bought a bike for my son from Dick's store along with a 3-year protection plan that includes repairs and tune-ups. I dropped off the bike on May 7, 2026 for a simple flat tire repair in the Bellevue store, and even after more than 16 days, the repair is still not completed. My son has missed riding with his friends during some of the few sunny days we get here in Redmond, WA. For over 14 days, the store kept saying they were waiting for a tire tube from the manufacturer. Then, 2 days ago, the store representative said their purchase order shows "complete," but they still have not received the tire tube. The only options provided were: 1. Continue waiting with no estimated completion date, or 2. Take the bike back unrepaired. I also contacted customer service and requested escalation to the store manager. Unfortunately, the store manager never spoke to me directly and instead had another employee repeat the same automated responses without providing any real resolution. Very disappointing experience, especially after purchasing the protection plan expecting reliable service and support. read more

Never ever let them know you are a third-party company/delivery driver for 'items' you will get treated less than a customer because I supposedly was "I get paid for the order" , does it make sense when someone's telling me that when I asked for help when they get paid by the hour? they're willing to tell me about their policy in depth, knowing that it's not efficient either way for businesses. The manager Matt made up this policy in force. They definitely told the employees. they all look down when I ask for help. This is sad Jessica at the front desk was really useful. I appreciate her. The store manager is a prick. I had talked to DSG online and told to seek an accommodation when returning a hockey stick order that had been incorrectly fulfilled three times in two weeks. Not only did the store manager refuse to honor what I was told by their online help, he refused to return the stick at all. Rude, inconsiderate, and unapologetic. Maybe I caught him on the wrong day, but in talking to DSG's customer service line, they were apparently already aware of this store manager. Finally found someone who's adjusted we order online for store pick up which is what we're in the process of doing. The most relevant one was dick's sporting goods, so a couple of days later, i went to the shop and found even better shoes. I am glad going there and don't regret it not being available in the nike shop because it is very fun to be in dick's sporting goods. We were going to Dick's sporting to purchase a few items among them a pair of rollerblades and a pair of shoes. It was a little bit late my son had to go to the bathroom the lady at the front directed us to the bathroom and said she would send someone to let him in he had to go really bad. When we went over the guy at the bathroom said it's closed very smug sounding pretty rude and said there's no way that he would allow him to use the bathroom, my son is 10 years old. I basically pleaded with the guy to let him in so he could go, he stuck to his guns and said no absolutely not. My son was on the verge of crying. We decide not to buy anything from Dick's and left we were pretty pissed off and annoyed at the rudeness of this individual. I don't think we would shop there again just from being treated like this, when one person says yes go ahead and the other person says no is rediculous. I went in today 06/07/24 around 10AM to buy new Nike shoes and I asked the cashier if they price match and he told nope only Nike website since it's a Nike shoe. I was like huh but it states that you guys price match other stores. Cashier and employee are unknowledgeable about price matching they have on their website, which clearly states the other stores/website they price match. I decided to call DSG to order the shoes and price match the competitors and they were able to do it. I also asked them why the store employee would tell me wrong facts about the price matching and they informed me that they needed to be more knowledgeable about these things and trained right. I was able to picked up the shoe the same day and within only 30 minutes from when I was in the store. I asked the employee/cashier why he lied and he said "Oh WELL..... SORRY". It would have been better if they knew their own policy instead of telling customers wrong informations and lying. I live next to this store and that's the reason why I wanted to get it from them instead of driving further. I don't understand how a place like this can manage to keep its doors open. The facility is huge but there are twice as many staff than customers. Do they even make enough sales to keep the electricity running? I've driven by this place a million times and only came inside maybe two or three times. Their prices are rather reasonable for having such a big overhead. Somewhere in between online prices and brick and mortar. Closer to online price. I have never felt so unwelcomed at a store until today. The associate that checked us out is named Colby, he's extremely rude to both my husband and I. He did not seem to want to be there and was very condescending. On Friday 9/1 I placed a canoe and two paddles for pick up. Unfortunately, each of my paddles were cancelled separately so I got two codes for $10 off for future purchases. I tried to order different paddles online with these codes, at first both the codes work on one transaction but then my screen refreshed and then neither of the codes worked!!! :( We went to the store Sunday 9/3 to pick up the canoe and decided to just buy paddles there. We also picked out a life jacket for my husband since the one I ordered online might not arrive on time. During check out I asked for the order and Colby told me it might take a while for the canoe to come out. So then we ask about the return policy and he told us if we use it we can't return it, kayak, life jacket or paddle... I just wanted to know if it's 30-days and if the canoe is defective can I return it... He didn't tell me any of this but instead he thinks that we're gonna use it and then return it. Then I asked him about the coupon codes, since my order was cancelled twice can I use them both? He was not so excited about this part. He looked them up and said they both work but I can't use both coupons in one transaction. My husband asked if it can be on separate transactions. He then proceeded on ringing the paddles up together so we asked if he can separate the paddles on two transaction. He was very annoyed at us now, it was very clear on his face and tone, he even rolled his eyes at us. He didn't want to do it and questioned us why. We asked if he can just do that for us, but he was persistent and did not want to do it until I told him that I might return the life jacket if the one I order online comes on time, hence why I asked about the return policy. I told him if the codes worked, I would have ordered online. My husband was upset at this point. We decided to make it easy on him and didn't get the life jacket. He got to the second transaction and had to call someone to inputted a code just for this transaction. I asked is there something wrong with the code? He then rudely said he's giving me more than a 10% discount he can't do it without a code. I'm sorry, how am I suppose to know that? You didn't need it the first time. My husband asked to talk with the manager and he tried to stop us and tired to make us tell him why we wanted to manager. We told him we want to directly talk to the manager. He told us they're too busy and can't talk to us. My husband said he want to talk to them. He was reluctant but finally she came out. My husband gave his two cents and we left. How can the restroom go sooooo long without being attended to. Nothing like dropping the kids off at the pool only to find out there's no toilet paper. The main roll - empty. The backup roll - empty. The backup to the backup roll - empty!! Wtf!?! So then I go to wash my hands, NO SOAP! Then I go to dry my hands, NO PAPER TOWELS. I was just there and there is 1 cashier and 9 customers waiting in Line! The cashier called many times for help. Unfortunately, no one cares! Manager was not visible or present, no one cares. Of the few times I visited this location, it all happened to be a half hour before closing. With that said, I felt like the employees were very courteous and didn't rush me. I've worked in retail so I know that when it gets close to closing different employees start reacting differently to customer questions and requests. I was happily able to finish my shopping experience here every time. I cannot get any reception in this building! I use T-mobile so maybe other carriers have better luck but without the ability to access the web and no free wifi, it's really hard to compare prices. Dick's does a price match thing from reputable online retailers but with the blockage of the web, this guarentee is useless. The internet issue would probably be the only reason why I'm giving this place a 4 instead of a 5. read more

Took my 14-yr old daughter to try to buy tennis shoes. There is zero customer service, none of the shoes are labeled by sport and they only have one tablet for the entire section for you to request shoes to try on. After 20 minutes we left and went to the Isssaquah location which has their act together. I will never shop at the Bellevue location again. read more

I cannot tell you how much sporting goods I have bought here. Instead of sending coupons they should send stock options. This is mainly due to great customer service, pricing and selection. When I need fishing gear, I come here. When I need soccer gear, I come here. When I need baseball and softball gear, I come here. In general this is my go to place for all sporting goods. Their app is a great tool and helps speed things along in every visit. I prefer to see and touch items before I purchase them and with the app I can locate my item and go see it and hold it. I have only had to return a couple items and this was also done well. There are plenty of stores in the greater Seattle area. I usually shop at the Crossroads store but over time it seems like the Northgate store has more availability. Looking for anything sports related. Dicks is the place to shop for selection, availability, pricing and customer service. read more

I bought a bike here back in late February. I bought online for pick up and the only reason I got it here was because it said built in store. I get a text a few hours later that my bike is ready for pick up. Great! I come in that night only to have the employee there ask "did you want that bike built"? I told him I did...and thought it was built because I got a confirmation text that it was ready. Then he tells me that I should expect a call for when it is ready and built. No where did their website indicate that at all. I just told him I'll come back tomorrow and he said it should be ready tomorrow. I called the next day because I was not going to do a repeat of that night. They proceeded to act horribly confused when I asked about the bike, and were constantly putting me on hold. Then they tell me that oh the bike builder is getting started we will give you a call for when it is ready. Great! Hours go by. Like 5. Doesn't take that long to build a bike if you know what you're doing? I call back, they act confused again (new guy). I'm put on hold AGAIN on and off. Then he tells me that the bike builder actually called off and was never even there. So they LIED to me. Then he tells me THEN that it takes 3 days to build. Excuse me? Why wasn't I told this from the beginning? I told him that this is day 2 and it should be done by tomorrow no later. He acts confused and panicky, and puts me on hold and gets his manager. His manager didn't even talk to me he just told him that to tell me that that they will get it done tomorrow. Me not trusting them anymore I told them to expect me to call them tomorrow. A lot. I called as soon as they opened, and finally they said that I was on the queue for that day to have the bike built. FINALLY. They said expect a call for when it's done. Great! I wait for hours. I was working so I believe I called 6 hours after I had initially called, and I asked for an update. Confusion ensues again. I'm put on hold on and off again. I literally tell them my name, order #, and type of bike I don't know how they were acting that confused. Then they tell me my bike is ready and has been for a while. I'm like why didn't you call me like you made such a big thing about that?!? I go to pick up bike that night, I thought it looked okay so I took it home. Was excited to ride it. I'm not super in-depth knowledgeable about bikes so to a newb like me at the time it looked fine. They messed up my seat so bad. They lubed up the bike seat pole so much that it would not stay up. The bolts were not tightened around the base of the seat pole. I had to change the seat because it was awful sitting on it, and I can't even remove the seat from the pole. It's like they glued the bolts in! Now I gotta go to a bike shop to help me remove it. I refuse to go in and have them butcher it up again. I was definitely scared they would do something like this and LOW AND BEHOLD THEY DID. Worst experience. read more

I bought a pair of running shoes at Dick's yesterday for $110, at regular price (not discounted). I wore it for one day, just walked around in the city for a few hours, no running or any sport. Today, I saw the material in the front is tearing apart on both shoes! I took them back to the store, showed them to the man at the counter, and nicely asked for a return. He said: "I can't do anything about it, because you have already worn them." I explained that I just bought them yesterday and it's obvious something is wrong with them, but he insisted I cannot return them because they have been worn. Seeing no sign of resolution, we asked to speak to his manager. The manager came and accepted the return in the end. I was shocked how bad the quality of the shoes that Dick's carries. I've had bad shoes before, but they never wear out after JUST ONE DAY! I was even more shocked to learn about Dick's no-return policy on defective products. Evidently, there is no guarantee/warranty. I wasn't going to accept paying $110 for a pair of shoes that last for only one day! I'm glad I was able to get my money back in the end, but it wasn't a pleasant experience having to go through drama to make it happen. Do not trust Dick's product quality and customer service. Awesome store for sports apparel and accessories! This took over the former Sports Authority and have to say - this is a huge improvement to its predecessor. Although they took over an old space - the store feels much more bigger and brighter. It's well-organized by activity and is split into men's and women's apparel. It's an accessible layout with a good amount of inventory. There are also a ton of employees on the floor, asking you first if you need any help. I came here to look for snow gear and though they were nearly out of certain accessories I was looking for - they offered to order it for me. They also suggested other stores where I could find the items I was looking for. This location of Dick's is located at Crossroads Shopping Center and has its own private lot, so parking isn't an issue. If in Bellevue - this is a great store for sporting goods, especially since there aren't very many in the area. read more

It is such a relief to have a sporting goods store back in the Crossroads area! There really isn't another one nearby. Taking up the space of the former Sports Authority, the building its self is effectively *made* for Dick's. As I visited on the first day they were open, some things are bound to change, but I walked around the whole store to get an idea of what they had. If you've been to a Dick's before, nothing here will surprise you. The store is clean and bright, and well organized - of course, only 1 day of customers have been in so far. I was greeted on entry and told about their grand opening this weekend, where they will have Ben Gamel signing autographs and various door prizes and coupons. Every single section had an employee that greeted me and asked if they could help me find anything. Hopefully they keep the same level of staff as time goes on. It looks like they are stocking a lot of really good products, and I'm excited to go back and buy a new baseball glove here. I was excited to locate me some DICK'S in the Bellevue area, but the woman's golf apparel is significantly smaller than any other that I've been to that I walked around the store and the golf section multiple times questioning if it even exist. It's tucked in a corner behind all the men's apparel which apparently for men, it was fully loaded. There were Nike for men, but not for women at this DICK'S. There's a reason why I don't shop online for clothes like everybody in this age, I want to try things on and bring it home with me right away, good thing there's Puetz or Pro Golf close by. Other than that, good location being in the Crossroads Mall with plenty of parking spaces since this mall isn't super congested. I dont know how any of the Dicks sporting goods stay in business, service is abysmal, each tome i go there i walk in with low expectations but they manage to set the bar lower. Went to get some co2 canisters filled, the employee behind the counter told me hed be right back, then wandered off. I watched him wander around and straighten shelves for over 10 minutes and tried to be patient, but the place is a joke. Last time they topd me they were out of co2, but i had called ahead and caught them in a lie. Update! I had to hit the ask for assistance button and eventually the same guy walked over. He took the canisters to fill and saif itd just be a few minutes, i walked around for about 6 more minutes before he returned and claimed the new co2 tanks they had were empty! I placed a curb side pick up order for 4 items based on the availability of items in store. if you are buying a bike it is hard to imagine a worse place to buy one. they have one person that knows anything about bikes and only works occasionally. if you pick up your bike when that person is not there and something is wrong with it you are SOL. i finally brought my non-functioning bike into another store that actually knows anything about bikes because my handlebars and front tire wouldn't stay fixed in place, and they told me that dick's *forgot to use some of the hardware* in assembling it. this was after i bought it in october and they didn't assemble it until january. don't make the mistake i did. read more
