I agree with all the reviews, this location needs new leadership. The zone needs help because I couldn't Find my size everything was not in place; also the store was very messy. I would compare this store to a Ross. The worse part is the customer service was just as horrible. How do you work in a customer service industry were customers can take their business anywhere, mostly online (which I ended up doing) and not care? Finally , If you are able to find the checkout line and Mark is your cashier - run. You are better off purchasing everything online. He has the worse attitude I've ever witnessed. I will never return to this store again and considering never shopping at dicks. It's my hope that when HQ sees enough low scores and their overall numbers drop , HQ they will look into it and start conducting visits bc clearly they aren't . It's bad enough you have to wait in line for 30 minutes for return, she never says hello or how may help you. She does a simple return. I buy some things and then she hands me the bag and throws it on the counter for me to bag myself. Are you kidding me? Absolutely awful experience at this Dick's Sporting Goods. The culture appears to follow the tone of the onsite management team, in particular, a gentleman in his 40's about 5'10" with short hair (slightly graying). He runs around the store saying things like "we are working as fast as we can"..."if we had more staff we'd have them out". This manager's terrible acumen and inept and inexperienced customer service abilities is bringing down the store. I placed a simple online order for one $7.19 football and came to pick it up. I showed him my receipt and he immediately jumped to a response "that's submitted. That doesn't mean it's an actual order!" What? Awful, awful service. Needed a basketball and decided to come into the store and see the variety in person. But the line to pay was way too long, and only one person working at the register. So I walked into Dick's because I wanted to see if they had the fitbit surge in store yet. I stood by the display for a while and didn't see anyone. Finally a woman with blonde blonde hair walks by & all I said was "excuse me I have a question", she didn't even acknowledge me she just kept walking by and said something into her mouthpiece. That's rude for one, and for two I came here to spend money, you could at least stop for 5 seconds to answer my question. Another guy came over and I asked him did they have the fitbit surge and he said no they are only online which is fine. I do suggest you take down the display if you dont have it in stores though. The one star was for how dismissively rude the blonde lady was when all I had was a question it would have taken her seconds to answer. Don't be too busy for your customers. Wow, you must be a dick to work here. There is absolutely no good customer service here!!! Asked for a fish scaler since my knives keep going dull and the s.o.b. laughed in my face, telling me people mainly fillet now in days. No sh!t. Really? I'd would've never thought about that. This is the 2nd (and last) time I have gone to Dick's hoping to buy some running shoes and both times could not find an employee anywhere in the store to help. Does anyone work at this location? I literally stood in the Men's shoe department for close to 30 minutes holding the display shoe in my hand scanning the entire store looking for an associate that could help and was never able to find anyone. Like the 1st time I went (same story) I gave up and put the shoe back and left. It's really unfortunate because their shoe selection is very impressive, you just can't get anyone to help you. This occured on a Tuesday afternoon at 1:00. The store was literally empty so there is no plausible excuse for not being able to find someone. I really like their selection but unfortunately this lack of service is becoming the 'norm' here and I likely won't be returning. read more

Customer Service is really bad here. It took me asking 3 different sales associates to help me find an item I was looking for, and the one working in the department didn't even know where it was. Purchased cross fit shoes in the store today but had to go through the kiosk in store to get larger size. Didn't realize until I got home an hour later that the young man scanned the incorrect shoe Called customer service online to cancel the order but she claimed there was only 30 minute grace period or shoppers remorse I believe she said was the term I can't believe company like Dick's would not give you at least 24 hours to cancel if it was there error OR that the associate would at least mention that fact before hand read more

Went here on an early Tuesday afternoon and there weren't too many ppl there. Needed a few of my clubs regripped. Had to walk around to find help but once I did, it was pretty quick. Paid for the 3 new grips and they were put in my clubs within 10 minutes. Also found a decent Taylormade GW for $50. read more

Was excited to hear Dicks was focusing on golf. Went to store today and found the smallest selection of gear I have experienced. Less than any other Dicks I have visited. The sales associates in the womens shoes and apparel were both helpful. My wife and I went to Dick's this past Saturday. The store was busy and seemed badly understaffed. With only one associate in women's shoes customers had to wait for assistance as the associate ran around doing her best to assist everyone. The line to check out weaved from the register back into the store. At one point there were three cashiers then two then one though I heard the cashier request assistance at least twice. Finally he was able to get a coworker to come over and help on a register, there are 6 registers at this location. We will not return to this store if this is the level of customers service that is to be expected. read more

Don't go to this location if you need help with anything. WORST customer service imaginable. No one on the floor to help. We had to hunt someone down. The shoe department is always understaffed. And there was about a 20 minute wait in every checkout line. And to top it off, the whole store was unorganized with boxes and merchandise scattered everywhere. We two bikes and when we got home we discovered that the bike needed adjusting And we were disappointed we could not ride. Took it back the next day and the manager was so nice and did a exchange so we could ride and not wait for the bike repair guy. She understood that we wanted to ride early because of the heat! I visited Dicks today to purchase a pair of running shoes. Shoe box inventory is now not in back room, but on the sales floor. No sales floor help. I guess they figure you don't need customer service. Very disorganized. Out of stocks. Shoe boxes in wrong place. This place is terrible. They never have anything I'm looking for. I've stood in that store many times waiting for somebody to help me but everyone just walks by like I don't exist. Merchandise credits can NOT be used for online purchases which is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention I paid over $200 for a NorthFace jacket and then only got a store credit for $96 because I returned it without a receipt. Impressed with the store. Great brands and a good clearance sale. Store looked clean. Service was bad. No one talked to us. Literally 3ft from the associate behind the gun counter and not a word was said. Then a manager came buy giving instructions and also ignored us. Had glasses. Didn't catch the name. I picked up some hunting items on a Wednesday evening. There was an employee in the hunting area moving clothes from one rack to another. Not once did he say "hello" or asked if we needed any help...it was like we were not even there. As i was leaving, I told him him Thanks for asking if we needed any help. He stared back like he couldn't believe I spoke to him. Picked up my items and proceeded to check out. Received buy 1 get 50% off at the register. I went to buy ammo that was 20% off. This was after I called and confirmed they had it in stock. What they didn't mention is there was a limit of one box per person. It's not like ammo is scarce anymore. You can go to Academy and buy as many boxes as you want and their non-sale prices are about 10% better. So after adding the cost of gasoline to what I was spending for one whole box, it wasn't a deal after all. I'm already there. So I figure I better make the best of it and go to the register to make my purchase. The first think they do is verbally ask me my date of birth with a bunch of people standing in line behind me. Great. I'm in IT security and know better than verbally providing Personally Identifiable Information (PIA). (By the way, I'm in my 50's and don't get asked that anywhere else I shop.) What a dump. I don't know if Dick's has fallen on hard times or if they've simply cut staff and are trying to compensate, but simply throwing all of your merchandise out on the floor and hoping for the best feels like a desperate move. I came in looking for a pair of running shoes and thought I wandered into a Payless by mistake - boxes and shoes strewn everywhere with little to no organization other than by brand. I saw some Nikes I liked, but after going down a couple rows and seeing what a mess the place was, I quickly decided it wasn't going to be worth my time to look. That might be fine at a big box store where the median shoe price is $20, but when you've got athletic shoes and cleats that cost 10x as much that's not going to cut it. Since I had already made the trip, I decided to head upstairs real quick and see what Camelbak products they had for sale. I was able to locate a huge Camelbak sign in the camping section, but no product. The only associate in the area that I could ask was too busy lackadaisically vacuuming the floor to notice me, so I just let it be and went on my way. read more

I had a great experience at the OKC location(quell springs) and once I got back to Texas I stopped into to return a pair of sunglasses that I purchased a few days before in Okc, and yes I had my receipt, after waiting in line for the better part of 30mins I was told I couldn't return them because they were discontinued and I shouldn't have been sold them in the first place!! So I requested to speak to the manager and he told me the same thing and then told me he wouldn't accept the return at that location that I would to take the back to Okc!! I pleaded with the manager that there must be anouther way and asked if he could call the Okc store and have them confirm the purchase and still be able to help me in store. What started out as a rude conversation to begin with became very disrespectful very fast when the manager laughed in my face, then through his arms up and sound "sure why not".
