I have been coming for more than 15 years, and every time I come it always makes me angry and…read moreraises my blood pressure even more. This is all caused by the employees who work there. They're all just getting paid for nothing, extremely lazy. Every time I try to call, it is extremely difficult because they never pick up the phone. One time I asked one of the employees why it's so hard to reach them by phone, and she just answered, "We're busy, you're not the only one calling!!!!" But every time I come in person, I almost never hear the phone ringing, and that's because they set the phone to silent!!! I have never seen them being truly busy, except for being on their cell phones. Every time I do blood work, I am supposed to be called within at most 3 days for the results--whether it's fine or if I need to come in to see the doctor if there is something serious. But I almost never get called unless I take the initiative to call and ask for the results. And they can immediately pull up my results and read them to me. When I ask why I was never contacted, they always say, "We just got the results from the lab," and this is just bullshit!!! Even when I come before my appointment time, I still always have to wait at least 1 or 2 hours before being called in. What I can say is that all the employees there are super lazy and useless, they don't care about the patients at all. Dr. Kim is basically okay, nothing special. I actually liked PA Song more, but he no longer works there--I don't know why. And until now they still don't have another PA. I have decided to switch to another doctor because I can't take it anymore.

They were able to schedule me in quickly, and the staff are all very friendly. My visit with Dr Majithia was excellent. He took the time to listen to everything I had to say, and asked follow up questions often. He adjusted his approach and recommendations based on my responses. I really felt like he was getting to the important details. Thank you Dr! And thank you to your staff as well. See you soon.

Let me tell you about Dr. Rishi Majithia. The kind of doctor you wish you'd found years ago. After…read morea decade-plus slog through the labyrinth of Kaiser, where I was just another chart in a sea of bureaucracy, stumbling into his practice felt like discovering a tiny, unassuming bistro that somehow serves the best damn meal you've ever had. Dr. Majithia is young, sure, but don't let that fool you. The man's got the sharp, methodical mind of a seasoned diagnostician. The kind who actually listens, connects dots, and doesn't just throw pills at the wall to see what sticks. In a handful of visits, he pinpointed what Kaiser's assembly line had missed for years. No fanfare, no ego. Just quiet, relentless competence. His office? Cozy. Not the chrome-and-glass corporate monotony of the big chains, but a place where you're greeted by the two women who run the front desk like a well-oiled, welcoming machine. They remember your name, crack a joke to ease the wait, and actually cares whether you're comfortable. It's the kind of small-team efficiency that makes you realize most medical offices are run like DMVs by comparison. Yeah, the wait's a tad longer these days, but only because they're overhauling the system to actually keep track of you properly. And honestly? With those two handling the front lines, even the downtime feels less like purgatory and more like killing time at a friend's kitchen table. What seals the deal? Dr. Majithia treats you like a person. Not a symptom, not a co-pay, but a human being. Asks about your life, your job, your stress, the stuff that actually matters to your health. And his team? Same vibe. In a world where medicine feels increasingly like a vending machine, this whole crew is a handcrafted, slow-cooked antidote. If you're tired of being a number, walk in. Wait the extra ten minutes. Let them actually do their jobs. You'll leave wondering why in the world you didn't bail on corporate healthcare sooner. Final verdict: Michelin-star care in a fast-food world, with a front-of-house staff that actually puts the Care back in healthcare. (P.S. Verified his creds--board-certified in family med, trained at legit hospitals. No smoke, no mirrors. Just a damn good doctor and a team that backs him up.)

During the call, she repeatedly asked for my name and basic information multiple times, even after I answered several times clearly. The conversation became very confusing, and instead of handling it professionally, she repeatedly said "oh my gosh," laughed during the call, and spoke to me in a rude tone. When she mentioned that my information was not on file, I explained that I was calling because I was a new patient. She responded by saying, "Well, you should've said that before." At that point, I expressed that I felt she was being rude and unprofessional and simply asked for the referral doctor's phone number instead. She then hung up on me. It's unfortunate that someone seeking medical help would be treated this way. Patients should be treated with patience, professionalism, and respect, especially during their first interaction with a medical office. Hanging up on a patient and making them feel mocked or dismissed is unacceptable.

You see, there are those like myself whose predicament is one where a Dr's proficiency, and humanity is the key distinguishing factor between a life of suffering or a sustained quality of life- I am so blessed. I have worked and been educated in 7 large institutions across the United States working with professors of all walks of life. I work as a consultant with Dr. Unger and interact with him regularly but in a different sub-specialty. I know him to be one of the most caring and thorough clinicians I have ever met. His history, resume, expertise and personality are outstanding. He has gone out of his way to write to textbooks on the management of diabetes. I have met several people who have done this, none of them have the aptitude and kind personality that Dr. Unger has. When I receive a referral from him, I receive an informed history that is certainly the most thorough and relevant to the particular question we are aimed to ask of any available. I know many primary care physicians, Dr. Unger is the most interested and attentive of any I have met. Every referral comes with a detailed letter. When I receive referrals from other institutions and individuals, it is up to me to seek for further information and this is often done at a great time investment on my part. There have been instances in which I will call him without any foreknowledge, I will mention a patient's name and he will be able to recall, in detail, all recent events, labs, and other features of the patient without any reference to a medical chart. I don't know anyone who can do this. When I interact with others, I am invariably asked to hold momentarily while they search through their charts to receive a mental update. This isn't exactly a sign of poor performance for others, in fact is is reasonable, but the fact that Dr. Unger is able to accurately describe in many unprompted details the situation cannot be understated. I believe it is a reflection of his attention. It is not distracted, he has the appropriate energy in the right place. Needless to say he knows his patients very well, he interacts with them outside his clinic hours regularly, he always knows what I am doing for them as we work together. I have never met a primary care physician so exhaustively involved in a patient's medical care. When other patients come to my clinic expressing concern about their current primary care provider, Dr. Unger the first thought to come to mind. I have been through this experience many times. Inevitably I receive a telephone call from the patient I referred to him with very positive thoughts, the overwhelming majority are highly satisfied.
