This most recent time, I had suspected I had a coolant leak of some kind and noticed this right before I brought it in. I didn't say anything about it and they brought it to my attention, which confirmed what I had thought. I immediately brought it to my mechanic to fix this issue, which happened to be that my radiator was cracked and I got a new one that day.

I was told the price jump was due to the war and increased oil costs. Wanting to verify that, I called three local auto parts stores afterward, and all confirmed that oil prices had gone up only about $1 per quart. For a 6-quart oil change, that's nowhere near the extra $40 I was charged. To be fair, the service itself was still quick and efficient as usual. But using current world events as justification for what feels like excessive up charging doesn't sit right with me. Loyal customers deserve honesty and fair pricing.

My family and I had spent a wonderful week at the beach and were driving home to Arizona when our van suddenly started overheating. We had already stopped at a gas station to check the fluids, so we knew this was something that needed to be repaired before we attempted the drive home, and since it was a Saturday afternoon, we started searching for a garage that was open. By chance, we chose J's Garage--and we could not have made a better choice. We pulled in around 10:00am and explained our situation to J. Even though he and his team already had a bay full of cars to work on, they immediately pulled our heavily loaded van into the shop and checked it out. They quickly discovered that the problem was the thermostat, gave us a very reasonable estimate, and told us they expected to have it finished by 1:30. We were thrilled, but honestly, had been preparing ourselves for the possibility that we might have to find a couple of hotel rooms for the weekend because most shops are closed on Sunday. There were five of us, including my 82-year-old mom, and we were all standing outside in the heat. J himself came out, brought extra chairs into the air-conditioned waiting room, and told us to make ourselves comfortable. There was a movie on for us to watch, and he even gave us recommendations for some great Mexican restaurants in the area. We were planning to take him up on that recommendation and grab lunch around noon--but we never got the chance! Jay and his team worked incredibly quickly. Our van was repaired, and we were back on the road by 11:30 am--only about an hour and a half after arriving! J and his lovely wife were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout the entire experience. The repair cost was extremely reasonable, the service was fast and professional, and they treated us like people rather than just another repair order. And, as an added bonus, we got to watch "Back to the Future" while we waited! A vehicle breakdown on a road trip--especially with a fully loaded van, five people, an elderly family member, and a long drive still ahead--could have turned into a complete nightmare. They took on a bigger project than they were qualified for, damaging a part after another, eventually replacing the hybrid battery and transmission. They always had an excuse pushing the deadline on every single inbound call. After applying daily pressure on them on a continuous basis , I finally received my car in April, however, the shop still owes me $583 for one of the car rentals they told me to purchase. I kept calling to retrieve the money but they didn't keep their word and denied paying me back. I could have easily placed a lien on the business for $583 with all the proof to retrieve my money but you know my good heart didn't follow through. Instead, writing this review will sting bigger and is the least I can do for the people. Im an easy going guy but after going through this extensive car repair, we decided to pull away from doing any future business for the wrong doing and unprofessionalism of their actions. I believe it's only right for everyone to hear about this and avoid what I went through, therefore, save yourself a headache. The owner is not a man of his word. This will bake in slowly. P.S. The entire experience was fantastic, from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I drove away in my newly transformed truck. The customer service at Z Performance was exceptional, with the staff being friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. They listened to my needs and wants, and provided me with several options to choose from, explaining the pros and cons of each so that I could make an informed decision. But the real star of the show was the muffler delete that Z Performance installed on my truck. It was clear that they put their own little twist on the installation, as the sound was unlike anything I had ever heard before. Excellent mechanic. I was on a road trip and needed an oil change, but the quickie places like valvoline wouldn't touch my car because my drain plug had been replaced and fit too tight. The head mechanic was giving in depth advise to someone looking to purchase a used car from a private dealer when I got in. When I told him about my drain plug, he knew exactly what had happened and was very upfront about the costs and potential problems. No wait time, they accommodated me as soon as I arrived! Very friendly, fast, efficient, and informed me of something I didn't even know I had to worry about. I was sent here to confirm that my catalytic converter was almost stolen at some point. The hardware was missing and the springs and bolts needed to be replaced. If I had the money I would have 100% had him install the alarm system that is welded onto my catalytic converter to ensure this doesn't happen in the future. Aside from that he replaced the hardware that was missing and told me to come back when I could and he would honor the same price. read more

I visited Z Performance at 3:30 in the afternoon with an unidentified, but scary, noise in my engine compartment. I was visiting Corona and had to travel 500 miles to go home. They diagnosed my problem and then stayed until 6:30 PM to fix it. They offered me drinks and played a movie in the waiting room. They were honest and skilled. I would totally go back. read more

Took my car in to get a little bit more volume out of my 5 cylinder VW Passat and Javier advised me accordingly. The service was great, with up-front pricing and fantastic attention to detail--they even cut a larger area in the rear valence to make room for the larger exhaust tip installed with the muffler delete. We were in from out of town when our emergency brake cable broke. They got us up and running right away and ordered the parts needed for the long-term fix. Fit us in to take care of us. Great service and prices. Very professional and friendly team. read more

First: the STi needed gaskets and other things the exhaust company didn't provide, but they had the extra parts to finish the installation. I would've been stuck if I tried installing it myself. Second: Acura Integra aftermarket exhaust I was in at 9:15am and out of there by 9:45 am. Super quick service and professional installation. Adolfo knows what he's doing. Almost forgot to mention the great pricing! They could easily charge more and I'd still go to them.

Our 2016 Honda CRV needed a replacement hose replacement spark plugs and clean the throttlebody and they did it all in the same day with no Advanced Notice and it was a reasonable price. The whole job only cost $900. Also, it is obvious that they have a very high volume of knowledge there and expertise and they do a lot of business because they are fair and helpful and timely. Spent about 3 1/2 hours there and saw many customers come and go and they were all happy.

On he last job he did for me he told me he thought someone stole my catalytic converter, and I said , I think the muffler just fell off, then he said bring it in early in the morning so he could look at it and get the parts for it, he changed me 320, and did absolutely nothing to it but slip it back on and tighten it back on which takes like 5 minutes, cause when I moved it fell off and I had to put it back on, then I took it to a muffler shop and asked if anything was replaced, they said no, it was all the original part, he is a thief. So I tried to contact him but he just ignored me, so im letting his costumers know what a fake he is and if you do business with him ask for the part boxes and your extra parts when dealing with a crook. I also let the bbb know about his business dealings Oh I caught him before to charging me for parts I didn't need, but I still lived there , and he reversed the charges, lol

A Breakdown That Turned Into a Wonderful Experience…read more If you're ever traveling through Corona, California, and find yourself in need of an honest, dependable auto repair shop, J's Garage should be at the top of your list. My family and I had spent a wonderful week at the beach and were driving home to Arizona when our van suddenly started overheating. We had already stopped at a gas station to check the fluids, so we knew this was something that needed to be repaired before we attempted the drive home, and since it was a Saturday afternoon, we started searching for a garage that was open. By chance, we chose J's Garage--and we could not have made a better choice. We pulled in around 10:00am and explained our situation to J. Even though he and his team already had a bay full of cars to work on, they immediately pulled our heavily loaded van into the shop and checked it out. They quickly discovered that the problem was the thermostat, gave us a very reasonable estimate, and told us they expected to have it finished by 1:30. We were thrilled, but honestly, had been preparing ourselves for the possibility that we might have to find a couple of hotel rooms for the weekend because most shops are closed on Sunday. There were five of us, including my 82-year-old mom, and we were all standing outside in the heat. J himself came out, brought extra chairs into the air-conditioned waiting room, and told us to make ourselves comfortable. There was a movie on for us to watch, and he even gave us recommendations for some great Mexican restaurants in the area. We were planning to take him up on that recommendation and grab lunch around noon--but we never got the chance! Jay and his team worked incredibly quickly. Our van was repaired, and we were back on the road by 11:30 am--only about an hour and a half after arriving! J and his lovely wife were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout the entire experience. The repair cost was extremely reasonable, the service was fast and professional, and they treated us like people rather than just another repair order. And, as an added bonus, we got to watch "Back to the Future" while we waited! A vehicle breakdown on a road trip--especially with a fully loaded van, five people, an elderly family member, and a long drive still ahead--could have turned into a complete nightmare. Instead, J's Garage turned it into the best breakdown experience we have ever had. Thank you, Jay, your wife, and your entire team, for taking such good care of our family when we were in a bind. Your kindness, honesty, reasonable prices, and incredibly fast service made all the difference.

My family and I use to come here all the time since we moved here to get our cars repaired. Just…read morerecently, I took my car in January to repair the clutch actuator in my hybrid and they took 4 months to complete the repair after trial and error. They took on a bigger project than they were qualified for, damaging a part after another, eventually replacing the hybrid battery and transmission. They always had an excuse pushing the deadline on every single inbound call. After applying daily pressure on them on a continuous basis , I finally received my car in April, however, the shop still owes me $583 for one of the car rentals they told me to purchase. I kept calling to retrieve the money but they didn't keep their word and denied paying me back. I could have easily placed a lien on the business for $583 with all the proof to retrieve my money but you know my good heart didn't follow through. Instead, writing this review will sting bigger and is the least I can do for the people. Im an easy going guy but after going through this extensive car repair, we decided to pull away from doing any future business for the wrong doing and unprofessionalism of their actions. I believe it's only right for everyone to hear about this and avoid what I went through, therefore, save yourself a headache. The owner is not a man of his word. This will bake in slowly. P.S. I also have screenshots, messages, and documents in case they want to lie and deny the truth.

I had my car towed to Precision first thing on a Friday morning for repairs and very shortly after it arrived at Precision, I received a message from Michael confirming what the issue was. Michael noted that it might be completed Monday for me. I was in a bit of a bind because I needed the car Monday to get to work. Michael told me he'd see what he could do about the timeline. They quickly got to work on my car and I got a message later that afternoon at about 3pm that my car was done. Getting it back early was a huge help and kept me from having to line up other transportation through the weekend and Monday for work. A few things I really appreciated: - Great service and communication. - Honest diagnosis of what was wrong with my car. - Good pricing on the repair. - Went above and beyond to get me back on the road.
