Love this location in particular. The staff is very nice and food is delicious. They switch up options pretty frequently so you'll never be bored. I love Dig Inn, but the best part of today's meal was "SHY". She works at the new Williamsburg location, and she was so hospitable/excited for this new location. Terrible service. My wife has been getting bowls with salmon from here for a couple weeks. However, they never seem to have it ready for some reason, so it usually is cause for 5, sometimes 10 mins of waiting. This has been annoying, but hasn't been bad enough to warrant us giving a bad Yelp review or anything. HOWEVER. When you ask for the salmon, wait 20 minutes, and then see the employees serve it to one of the other employees? That's completely unacceptable. To combat this and give them one last shot, I placed a pickup order online for a bowl with salmon, broccoli and brussel sprouts. Estimated time for pickup was 10 mins, so I came after 20 mins. Went to the back of the line, said I placed an order online. Woman behind the counter asks "Stephen?" I say "Yes." and then she starts making the order on the spot as if I never placed the order ahead of time. Nope. I'm done. Gave this place too many chances. Food is good, so they get 2 stars instead of 1, but I'm not coming back unless the service dramatically improves. read more

So over priced for the portion size and lacking in coordinating flavors. I got farro with Parmesan cauliflower and lemon broccoli. It should have worked well together. Opted out of the tofu (only veggie main) because the seasoning flavor didn't seem to match. For not getting a main they charge you $1 less. Gee thanks. Everything goes together in a bowl but what I didn't know (because it wasn't indicated anywhere on the board) was that the farro had celery, waaaay too much parsley and sweet potatoes. These do not go with the two sides that I chose at all! The individual flavors were good but they're all mixed in a bowl together! Very disappointed. I tried to pick it apart and eat the elements separately but it was just not satisfying. Wishing i had gone next door to sweet greens instead. Definitely will be next time. In summary: small portions for the price; unexpected ingredients and lack of coordinating flavors. The staff was also not super friendly and seemed annoyed by my questions about the menu. read more

I have been to Digg Inn for the past 6 days and I really love it. I always take the market bowl: a base (quinoa or rice) and you can top it of with 3 vegetables. As an extra you can take roasted chicken, meatballs etc. The food is tasty, it's a lot and is also good for vegetarians as well. The price is good as well. read more

Great addition to Williamsburg! The food was fresh and then roasted sweet potatoes were really good. This location is spacious and pretty clean. The only thing is that the service was a bit spotty. There wasn't a lot of communication between the staff and orders were getting a bit chaotic. Giving them the benefit of doubt, since it was only three days since the opening day. One of my favorite dining spots so far! Pretty busy but attentive to costumers. Not the most friendly staffs but the food is AMAZING!! I got a salmon bowl with quinoa, roasted sweet potatoes and cauliflowers and I absolutely loved it. I payed around $13 so it can be a little bit pricey for lunch, especially for a college student but if you're looking for a tasty and healthy dining spot then this place is highly recommended!!! read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I came here with my family after church, hoping to gather together over a meal after a great morning. We have eaten dig inn in the past; my first experience in fact was in the city a few years back. I remember eating it with such joy! Upon ordering our food in this location, I was told that chicken breast for my bowl would take 5 minutes to be done. My family of 4 are already seated, well into their meal and now, 10 mins forward I am still waiting for chicken. I ordered a side of meatballs hoping they wouldn't be cold by the time my meal was ready. My bowl, partially complete was set aside, changing temperatures as I waited a good 15mins now. The girl who rung me out suggested that I sit and that she'd bring me my food when it was ready. I insisted that I was fine and I would continue standing considering I was already standing all that time; sitting down to watch my family eat while waiting for my food wouldn't be a great idea for a hungry man who was given false information. The guy making the chicken that told me the wait would be 5 mins, is now chatting away with what appears to be their manager. Nothing wrong with talking to colleagues but you have physically removed yourself away from what appears to be your duty, to laugh and chat while Ive already paid, am waiting for what feels like forever, and my family is practically finished with their meal. After extending a great amount of patience I approached the counter and asked what was going on. The guy talking thinks its a good idea to highlight the fact that its "made from scratch" as if that justifies why he initially said 5mins and it turned into 15. I was approached by the manager and I explained to him that its not the wait, its the false expectation that was set. He offers to compensate my meal and then gives me a FREE MEAL token. The food was completed salty- texture in my sweet potato was inconsistent as if each potato was cooked a part, stored and reused or something of that matter. Its impossible for one potato to be soft and the next one to be hard. Lemon Broccoli tasted like salt-onlt broccoli. Brown Rice was hard, meatballs of course were cold. Chicken was too salty. The bottled lemon-ginger juice was good however. I would have appreciated more than an apology; a free meal to come back to a place that had poor service and poor quality food is not my type of compensation. A sorry unfortunately does not fix this nor does a free meal. Training and attentively cooking, is essentially needed in this location. Please wipe your tables, smile, be mindful of the expectations you give customers and don't think a free meal makes things right. I will NEVER come to this location or eat Dig Inn again for that matter. I spent too much money and now I'm looking a homeless person to enjoy this meal. Be blessed! read more
