Buckle up -- long winded review here! Digs Hotel has been such a life saver for me and my pup, Rigsby. As a first-time dog owner, I was nervous about leaving him anywhere, but the team at Digs immediately made me feel like he was in great hands. They treat Rigsby like he's one of their own, and it's so obvious how much they genuinely love and care about dogs. Rigsby absolutely loves it here and can't get through the door fast enough! Seeing how excited he is to go and how happy he is to see everyone there is all the confirmation I need that Digs was the best decision. And having access to cameras to peek in is a huge plus for me (and showing coworkers in need of some cuteness overload during the day). The boarding services are great. Whenever we travel, I know Rigsby is not only having fun but also getting a good night's rest after a day of play. Their grooming services are amazing too! They've helped Rigsby get comfortable with baths and brushing--something I never thought would happen at first. And Nancy, in particular, is an absolute rockstar. Every time she grooms him, he comes out looking like he belongs on a puppy runway. So grateful to Digs Hotel for taking such amazing care of my pup. I recently switched Digs after my usual dog watchers were booked or out of town and I am SO glad I did! My dog has done daycare and now boarding (this was her first time boarded) and it was a great experience start to finish. The staff is attentive and so nice, the facility is clean (my dog didn't come home smelling like a pet store), and the hours are incredible, which make it super easy on long travel days to go pick up the dog. My dog came home extremely happy but also exhausted, a great combo. I will definitely be returning and couldn't recommend them more. read more

We have been taking our 3 year Lab mix to Digs since they opened their doors for daycare, grooming and the occasional boarding. We've had nothing but incredible experiences here. Digs is trustworthy, communicative and every person who works there genuinely LOVES dogs. Their hours are incredible and I've always appreciated that they'll walk our dog home at night if we were in a pinch. Customer can't book appointments online and neither in person. Kinda hard, huh? - Website had a bug on the submission form, which forced me to walk over to schedule an appointment in person. - When the day came, they said my dog's appointment was never booked, and a team of at least 5 people gaslighted me saying I couldn't have booked in person. - Also they didn't accept my dogs vax records claiming the expiration date was not readable, even though I was pointing to the date and showing them. This business is set to failure, as they're chasing away customers like I've never seen. read more

My dog goes here for daycare and I love how tired and happy he is when he comes home. There are cameras so I can check in on him throughout the day. Are you a crazy dog parent? Are you completely nuerotic when it comes to your dog? If you answered "yes" to these questions, then this is the place for you! We recently boarded our 120lb American Akita "Kuma". The owner Steve, was truly kind, patient, and very informative. He took his time showing me where our dog would be boarded, the daily routine and what was offered with our stay. side note- my dog pooped in the lobby, he was beyond comforting and was not phased by the whole situation. - I was mortified. Our dog spent 2 nights at DIGS. We were able to watch him play from 9am-5pm! They have camera access via there app. They were so kind, loving and caring! On more than one occasion, I caught them petting and hugging Kuma! Truly amazing! At pickup, Kuma was happy and really excited to see us! He also didn't smell like a "dog boarding" place if you know what I mean. We will DEFINITELY be going back to DIGS! read more

DIGS forgot to feed my dog. My dog Waffles stayed at DIGS from 10/30-11/3. I had packed individual bags for each meal, so when I received an extra bag of her dinner back at pick up, it was clear one of her meals had been missed.  After asking the DIGS staff, I was told that all meals had been logged into their system correctly. It wasn't until I pressed them further that I was told a manager would look into what happened. I was later contacted by the manager who "apologized for the mistake" after they were "able to trace back what happened" but did not elaborate on what led to my dog not being fed. Their response was to offer a $75 refund (less than 15% of the cost of her stay). After asking if they fed her the incorrect food instead of her (prescription) kibble, I was told that they can "ensure me that Waffles didn't eat anything else," meaning that my poor dog had to sit alone in her room without dinner for an entire night. Who knows how many other dogs this could've happened to; the only reason I found out was because I packed individual bags of food and sent multiple texts pressing them to investigate the issue. I paid a lot to make sure Waffles had the best experience possible while I was away, but now I am just sad whenever I think about it. I cannot overstate how disappointed I am in DIGS. read more

We love DIGS Hotel! I started to bring Harley, my toy Aussie, there for grooming in early 2021. I was a bit hesitant since she is a sweet, shy girl who scares easily. But DIGS has taken great care of her and now she pulls me back every time -- especially when she knows Nancy will be grooming her. I now take her to daycare there and the service is always phenomenal. I highly recommend to anyone, particularly those who feel their dog might be too "shy" for grooming/daycare. Been here for grooming a handful of times so far and they do a great job! My dog gets matted pretty easily, and they always resolve the issue while still making her look nice. Also it can be hard to find groomers that can give them a nice looking cut that actually lasts and stays in good shape for quite a while, but they manage do to so! Would definitely recommend. Digs is such a welcomed addition to our neighborhood. The staff are all so kind and attentive and you can tell that they really care about their canine clients. There is no guessing games - they have 24-hour doggy cams in their main rooms! I definitely spend too much time checking it but not because I am at all worried - it's just too cute watching all the dogs play all day. I've been taking my 8-month old puppy to daycare and we just boarded her for the first time - she didn't really seem to want to leave, which is always a good sign. My dog has just got home from the worst experience of a dog groom he's ever had. He's traumatized. It took over five hours, he looks terrible, has cuts around his genitalia and I am livid. I have used digs numerous times and never have I experienced anything like this. I don't know if you have new groomers or have just let your standards slip but I am so appalled by the state you left my Chippy in I am in shock. So happy to have a groomer / daycare in the neighborhood! Finn always comes out looking amazing after his grooms, and Digs goes above and beyond with providing great advice on how to maintain Finn's fluff while preventing matting which he gets. Each groom comes with 2 hours of day care, which helps tire him out for the groom. It helps that their staff are experienced in animal behavior, especially for rescues like Finn. Digs also puts on lots of community events which are loads of fun (doggie food trucks, photography days, etc). read more

We needed a daycare for our pup pretty last minute and we couldn't find any in our neighborhood that was open on a Sunday and that could take us last minute without a long prior evaluation (totally fair, but made it difficult for us). So we decided to look in the area that we were headed (DUMBO) and came across DIGS. Not only were they able to do an assessment upon our arrival, but they were professional, courteous, and helpful. We worked with Steve at the front desk and he was super clear about the process to register, what documents to send in, and what we could expect when we arrived. We love the live cam option and felt secure knowing our pup was well taken care of. We loved how luxe the experience is (lobby smells divine), and we will definitely be bringing our pup back to Camp DIGS the next time we're in the neighborhood again, maybe for a blueberry facial to clean up our pup's white face fur! We decided to give DIGS a try after many inconsistent grooms from our groomer of 7 years. They were very helpful in the online registration process and when we brought Samantha in the manager (might have been to owner) was extremely courteous and he made sure we got the haircut we wanted for our yorkie. He brought up the groomer and they were very attentive. I liked how they had evening drop off and pickups as that helps with our busy schedules. When we got Samantha back we were extremely happy. DIGS Hotel is truly the best of the best! When we first decided to bring our puppy Olive here for daycare, we were hesitant since she had never been away from us. The owner Steve and all of the staff quickly put us at ease by providing a tour, an initial hour-long test run, and answers to our MANY (crazy puppy parent) questions! We not only feel relaxed knowing Olive is safe and cared for here, but she does too - which is a huge relief. She immediately formed connections to DIGS workers (who she now adores!) as well as other dogs. She has a blast every time she is there, and we know she is well taken care of. We also love the webcam feature - allowing us to see how she's doing every now and then! The grooming here is also fabulous! Olive was groomed by Nancy, who is amazing. Knowing it was Olive's first time, Nancy took her time getting to know Olive and helping her feel comfortable with the equipment. We even got text updates letting us know how she was doing! Overall, our family is lucky to have DIGS nearby and we recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, clean, fun, and loving spot for their pup! read more

There are plenty of things for everyone to worry about these days but the team and operation at DIGS is not one of them! Love this daycare. My pup goes for the whole day each time, and comes home exhausted. He eats dinner and sleeps until the next morning. Digs has a really large space for our furry friends to run and play. Also, there's a webcam that's cutely named Central Park for fur parents to spy on their pups...warning! It's a distraction from work - I could watch my pup play with his friends all day. My pup loves this place so much so that he won't leave. I have to carry him down the block before he starts walking.
