Came here for dinner when in town since it was a short ride from my hotel. Very impressed by how fresh the food was and the large selection of foods. Everything was very fresh and seasoned perfectly. The roasted eggplant was incredible as was the gyro meat and the kebab. Very clean and on the night I visited was not crowded. There are no waiters picking things up or making sure you were doing alright, so that would be something they could add to enhance the experience. Otherwise, it`s good stuff. My husband and I are big fans of this place. The manager/owner is super friendly and attentive. The food is always great and flavorful. It's a great way to try lots of different kinds of food that you may not be familiar with, without committing to an entire entree in a regular restaurant. The price is a tiny bit more than a "regular" buffet, but it includes your drink, so that's nice. It's pretty dead in there around dinner time, which is when we eat there so sometimes the food has been sitting around a little bit. It's just a personal pet-peeve of mine. I was so excited after finding the Dimassi's in Humble TX earlier this week and we found ourselves in Irving so we decided to eat here today. Well that's where the excitement ends, we arrived at 11:00 and were the first customers to enter, so many of the tables were dirty from yesterday we were taken aback. Finally by 11:30 most entrees made it onto the buffet and to our surprise many meat items were cold such as the Gyro meat. The staff in Humble were so pleasant compared to here. When I payed for my meal with my credit card I stood looking at the man behind the counter waiting to get my receipt and he gave me an odd look like what do you want, I said I need a receipt, you would think I insulted him. We travel Texas a great deal and hope the locations are better then this one. read more

I expected to find something of lamb,but nothing was there. Sweetened tea was totally unsweetened. Very surprisingly, I took a sprite,which was totally sweet-less. May b it was just a soda from sprite fountain.No idea how is that possible. Tables were arranged in a very messy way.No way left to go to the food rack. the line beside the buffet table was long enough to block the way,because no other way to go there. After some while no glass was available to take drink. My husband did not find plate after a while. Later on,they re-stacked them again. In total, not at all worth of $13, it u have to go,go on weekday,that will cost less. This is not a place to go twice. Simple. Now the reason it's a 3 not 5 is the cleanliness. We were there for 2 hours between lunch and dinner, so not a busy time, the tables were never cleaned, picked up. Went here with the family after reading several reviews for various places online. It was our first time eating mediterranean. For the most part, everything I ate was tasty. I didn't care for the lamb but my husband loved it. The food stayed plentiful on the buffet. My only complaint would be the buser cleaning off the table before we left. He didn't say anything and just started grabbing plates and stuff while we were sitting at the table talking. I found this to be a little rude. The side of my family from Jordan and Lebanon love eating here because it reminds them most of their food back home.
