    Autumn Harvest Bowl
    Melinda L.

Haven't been back here in a long while and it so happened. In the spirit of the season, I ordered the Autumn Harvest Bowl, a seasonal menu item. The bowl had blackened chicken, maple glazed brussels sprouts, apples, goat cheese, roasted almonds, wild rice, shredded kale and spicy cashew dressing. Sweetgreen takes the guesswork out of the origin of the ingredients in the bowl. I can see how this could be a game changer for some. As for me this evening, I appreciated the awareness to know where the food I ate came from. My favorite dressing is the spicy cashew dressing.

The grass fed steak is so tender ! I love it. My order is usually correct when I order from here, (online) I don't have any issues. All my sauces were included as well. 5/5 !

We were looking for a healthy bowl place and sweet greens delivered. Both of us got the Harvest bowl and it was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating was plentiful and lots of natural light flowed in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I enjoyed the combination of vegetables, apples and chicken with the pesto sauce on the side. The ripple fries with pickled ketchup were amazing though we waited for a few minutes after ordering to pick them up at the counter. I would definitely enjoy trying something else another time.

Good food! And awesome service! I chose the wrong drink, tasted like nothing to me, and they were happy to swap it out for a MUCH better option. Not that you would know by looking at them, they all seem as good as the next when judging the book by the cover, but the kombucha there is amazing! I would be happy to come back.

Amazing service , Clean restaurant and great food above all! Came here for Yelp Elite Week! -The service was impressive , they are running this place like a navy ship! Everyone is busy and attending to the customers! -The Food, Caramalized Steak Bowl with sweet potatoes was solid! 8/10! I wish the steak had a bit more color and a tad bit more flavor but i still managed to finish it all lol :) Delicious nevertheless. Beautiful location! Right in the heart of Woodlands Market Street! Sweetgreen is a nice healthy green gift to this Lovely community. Me and my Girlfriend Mariah enjoyed every bit! Thank you Sweetgreen Woodlands! -Santangelo Balli Gonzales

Decided to grab lunch with my colleague from Sweetgreens. The location, service, and options are great. It's a a clean store with workers that are very attentive. We selected the Shroomami and Harvest bowl being that we are on our healthy kick. The flavors were great. We paired it with a jasmine green tea and Health Ade Kombucha. Thanks Sweetgreens for the healthy lunch options

Please open a location in Katy, TX!!! Sweetgreen has definitely evolved into a nice powerhouse eco-chic fast casual restaurant since the early 2000s when they first opened in the Washington, D.C. region. You can't go wrong with any of the protein grain bowls or salads. Customer service was great at this location. Artisan drink options would be nice, as well as some additional improvements to their mobile app.

Carmelized garlic steak on quinoa with broccoli, tomatoes, and sweet potato
    EJ H.

My wife told me about Sweetgreen, a new local place that opened while I was deployed. I had lunch there today with high expectations, and while it was good, it wasn't anything that made me say I'd be back soon. The Caramelized Garlic Steak caught my attention, and I ordered that on quinoa instead of the rice. The friendly girl seemed a bit confused that I didn't want rice, but she quickly said it was fine for me to have it on quinoa instead. It came with broccoli, tomatoes, and sweet potato. My first problem was trying to find the cutlery. After setting my food down and finally finding where the forks and knives were, I picked out a pair and some napkins and sat down to eat. The decor and setting is modern but sparse, reminding me of one of the burrito assembly line establishments. I dug into the steak first. It was tasty, but gray and devoid of any meat color. It seems it is cooked and left in a hot container until served. I understand why; they try to get you your food as quickly as possible, but when it comes to steak, I'd gladly wait a few moments or minutes to get something that looked more appealing. The broccoli was tasty as were the sweet potatoes, but the tomatoes, while appearing fresh, tasted like they were partly fermenting. I couldn't get past the flavor and just left them. The quinoa was unremarkable and I didn't eat too much of it, either. I paired my lunch with the Sweetgreen branded Hibiscus Berry Tea which was tasty. All in all, for healthy food, I was sad that there were no other options for the base (rice or quinoa). Cauliflower or something Whole30 or Paleo-friendly (aside from salad greens) would be a welcome alternative. With the many alternative restaurants with similar foods close by, I don't know when or if I'd be back unless accompanying someone else who wants to eat there. Like I said in the beginning, it was good, but there wasn't anything I ate that made me want to come back for more. The speed with which I got my food as well as the friendly service, however, were both really good. If you're on a time-crunch and want a healthy and good lunch, this is a good spot to go if you're close by.

Wow!! First of all the ingredients here are so fresh and there are so many salads to choose from or you can build your own. The vibes inside are very casual and they have seating inside and outside. They have curbside order pick up spots and pick up area inside as well. A little bit on the pricier side, but definitely worth it and one of the best salads I've ever had! Can't wait to come back and try other salads.

Harvest Bowl and Crispy Rice Bowl
    Sapna S.

This was my second time coming to sweetgreen and it was absolutely delicious! I came with my sister and the people who worked there were super welcoming and took the time to explain everything to us; even giving us their personal suggestions. I got the crispy rice bowl with tofu and my sister got the harvest bowl tofu. We both ended up switching because we like the others bowl better. The harvest bowl tasted super fresh with the addition of the crisp apples and goat cheese. My sister and I gave it a 4/5 only because the tofu was dry and a bit bland. The bread on the side is free, but I wish it was a roll or came with butter, because it wasn't as good on its own. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back to do try some of their different bowls.

    Miso Glazed Salmon
    Elizabeth D.

I'm really disappointed with my recent Sweetgreen order. My salmon looked old, and the avocado had brown bruises all over it. The onion and cucumber were chopped so poorly that they were just huge, uneven chunks--completely unappetizing. On top of that, the portion size was ridiculously small for the $18 price tag. A whole cucumber and onion each cost about $1, so why am I paying $18 for low-quality ingredients and barely any food? I'm paying for fresh, high-quality ingredients, and this is the second time I've had this issue. Definitely not worth the price.

I had high hopes. I'm out of town visiting for work, trying new places. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The appearance, aesthetics, and online ordering were great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. just wish the food was too. Chicken reminded me of canned chicken , steak was dry and tough. It all tastes very bland. Might be because they forgot all of my sauces for the top and the hummus/bread. Personally will never be back. I spent $30 for the bowl, hummus/bread and cashews. Not worth it, unfortunately.

SweetGreen takes the idea of eating healthy and making it modern, you have the chill atmosphere of a Starbucks, the variety of any American diner joint + great atmosphere lighting for pictures... "if you're into that" and I have never been disappointed with their salads. You will always get a huge selection of various salads, and the seasonal ones are usually something I would have never thought of and get this... THE SALADS ARE ACTUALLY ENJOYABLE WITHOUT CHICKEN OR BEEF (lol). My go-to at the moment is the Farmhouse, you can only get this in the app, The salads are so big you can usually eat half now and save the rest for later, just a little tip. Next time I eat inside I will get some better pictures :D

I was very impressed with the meal and it seemed to be a pretty healthy choice at such a good price point. The steak was real slices of lean steak that actually tastes like a steak and not rubber. Fruit cup was very fresh and way better than any I've had at other restaurants lately. I wasn't a big fan of their teas, but they're gonna take some getting used to. The olive oil cake was tasty just a little smaller than I had imagined.

Drinks and food arrived quickly and were fantastic - the drinks were on point, the food ample in quantity and flavorful in taste. The Fudgy Brownie was divine! Well-done! As I mention above, the final tally was a bit shocking. Otherwise, a great place to hang out; planning to return to avail of the Mon/Tue $25 Wine and Bruschetta Board special.

[EDIT only to correct to "Postino"]…read more I use the one-stars sparingly, I really do. This has nothing to do with the food, as we never got that far in the course of my miserable experience at this location (not sure if it's a chain or not). Walked into a relatively quiet restaurant somewhat later in the evening after strolling a bit in the summer Houston heat around the Woodlands. A couple of people recommended Postino. The issue arose when I asked for a possible menu modification. Specifically, I was trying to avoid GOAT CHEESE on the meatball dish I had my eyes on (which otherwise looked pretty tempting). The server indicated that they probably couldn't do it but I nevertheless requested this... a couple of minutes later the server returned with the bad news. Apparently, it simply had to be served as-is, according to the menu. This in itself wouldn't have got me to the point of writing this review. However, I, incredulous, was kind of laughing (you have to laugh) and said something like "so I can only order exactly what's on the menu, and the kitchen can't do anything different?" (slight paraphrasing, perhaps). There wasn't much further conversation with the server but within about 30 seconds of this exchange, a "manager" stormed over to the table and borderline-abusively shouted "is there a problem?!". This "mini-manager" as I will refer to her, proceeded to inform me that they could NOT accommodate changes because it would "violate the integrity of the restaurant" ... I of course I also found a bit humorous, and in this state inquired further about what sense it made to be so obnoxiously strict for someone just trying to grab a quick bite about 30 minutes before closing. I'm sensitive to the work involved in running restaurants and serving obnoxious customers, but I was NOT rude, obnoxious, or difficult. Just blown away by this treatment. I was then informed by the mini-manager that she was from LONDON which I assume meant I should accept that her cosmopolitan background and (I assume vast and high-level culinary experience) meant that I should shut my trap and stop being so picky. At this point I was compelled to mention that I, too, grew up overseas and was very surprised at this complete lack of flexibility. Within another 30 seconds or so of this dialogue, the mini-manager tipped the menu over on the table and abruptly shouted, "you know what, I'm refusing you service!" That made it all easy from there as we promptly (while laughing, partly out of shock) exited the facility. Huge disappointment and embarrassing in my view for a restaurant that seems otherwise to have maintained a great reputation - and especially so for the fact that service (and people in general) in Houston tend to be kind and accommodating, not typically RUDE or reactionary. I'm encouraging this restaurant to have a look at the service model. I can't say I'll try Postino again the next time I'm in Houston, but I certainly hope it continues to truly earn its 4.5 star rating, 'cause they sure did NOT when I was there this weekend.

1-Star Review: Absolute Disaster - Never Returning to True (False) Food Kitchen…read more We had one of the worst dining experiences imaginable at True Food Kitchen. We ordered our food, and it simply never came. After a long wait, our Brazilian waitress kept stringing us along with repeated false updates about how soon it would be ready. She left us hanging the entire time with zero accountability. What made it even more infuriating was the staffing situation. There were visibly more servers and kitchen staff than actual customers in the restaurant. Yet somehow, nothing was getting done. We watched plates of other customers' food sitting in the pass window for over 10 minutes while seven different servers casually walked right by, letting it sit there getting stale and old. Our server in particular seemed completely disinterested in doing her job--she had zero urgency or care for our table. The cavalier, neglectful attitude from the entire team felt like a systemic problem, not just one bad shift. It was as if the restaurant's "healthy, mindful" branding was just a front for pretentious, ill-mannered service that couldn't care less about actually delivering on basics like getting food to the table. We finally flagged down the manager, who at least gave us straight information: our order would still be another 10 minutes on top of the already excessive wait. At that point, we'd had enough and left without eating. This place is a nest of neglectful incompetence. Between the false promises, indifferent staff, and total disregard for customers, we will never patronize True Food Kitchen again. Save your time and money--go somewhere that actually values service.

This place was listed on InKind so I thought I'd give them a try…read more I ordered 2 chocolate chip cookies to go. We waited at an empty table. A little fly came by to hang out with us. The cookies finally came in a brown bag that was taped at the top, so I didn't rip it open to check my order. I mean, it was a simple order and they only have 1 type of cookie on the menu. When I got home I had one cookie that looked like a chocolate chip cookie and another cookie that didn't show any resemblance to a chocolate chip cookie. But I get that sometimes the chips are hidden inside. So I didn't think twice. Well, I can confirm that second was devoid of any chocolate chips. I took mini bites to see when I actually might encounter an actual chocolate chip. But I got nothing. I double checked my receipt and it says chocolate chip cookie and chocolate chip cookie, each @ $2.95. I double checked the menu thinking maybe they gave me another type of cookie but the menu only lists chocolate chip for cookies. So how on earth does a chocolate chip cookie have zero chocolate chips? I think that takes some serious skill to make one without a single chip in it. And I actually might not complain if it was still an awesome cookie nonetheless, but it was a far cry from that. It was a tasteless soft lump of dough. And clocking in at $3 that's just not right. Does this establishment have no quality control to prevent something like this happening? I don't think I've ever experienced something like this at a place charging this much for a cookie. And even commercial establishments like Walmart do a better job. I don't know what "true" means in their name, but for me it only meant only one thing: true disappointment.

Between the overpriced, mediocre dessert and the outdated payment options, this was a thoroughly disappointing visit.
