However, I don't go often because it can be pricey; this was $18....However, I do understand the restaurant industry is tough and being profitable is probably the #1 best business practice. Caramelized Garlic Steak is my go to!! This time I changed it up a bit. Hold the rice, sub for arugula, add goat cheese, extra sweet potatoes (I have to share these with my dog lol), and HEAVY on the pesto! The picture doesn't do it justice. DELISH! I'm a stickler for customer service. It's just one area that I cannot fold on. They could definitely use some help in the speed of service department. This is for the delivery using sweet greens app or door dash. It has happened multiple times so I believe whoever takes care of the online orders is playing a game on the people ordering. We ordered a steak bowl protein plate once and received it with NO STEAKS. Today I did take out using the app and my harvest salad came with bbq dressing instead of the balsamic and it's missing ingredients. Haven't been back here in a long while and it so happened. In the spirit of the season, I ordered the Autumn Harvest Bowl, a seasonal menu item. The bowl had blackened chicken, maple glazed brussels sprouts, apples, goat cheese, roasted almonds, wild rice, shredded kale and spicy cashew dressing. Sweetgreen takes the guesswork out of the origin of the ingredients in the bowl. I can see how this could be a game changer for some. We were looking for a healthy bowl place and sweet greens delivered. Both of us got the Harvest bowl and it was delicious. Seating was plentiful and lots of natural light flowed in. I enjoyed the combination of vegetables, apples and chicken with the pesto sauce on the side. The ripple fries with pickled ketchup were amazing though we waited for a few minutes after ordering to pick them up at the counter. Sweetgreen has definitely evolved into a nice powerhouse eco-chic fast casual restaurant since the early 2000s when they first opened in the Washington, D.C. region. You can't go wrong with any of the protein grain bowls or salads. Customer service was great at this location. My wife told me about Sweetgreen, a new local place that opened while I was deployed. I had lunch there today with high expectations, and while it was good, it wasn't anything that made me say I'd be back soon. The Caramelized Garlic Steak caught my attention, and I ordered that on quinoa instead of the rice. The friendly girl seemed a bit confused that I didn't want rice, but she quickly said it was fine for me to have it on quinoa instead. It came with broccoli, tomatoes, and sweet potato. My first problem was trying to find the cutlery. After setting my food down and finally finding where the forks and knives were, I picked out a pair and some napkins and sat down to eat. The decor and setting is modern but sparse, reminding me of one of the burrito assembly line establishments. I dug into the steak first. It was tasty, but gray and devoid of any meat color. It seems it is cooked and left in a hot container until served. I understand why; they try to get you your food as quickly as possible, but when it comes to steak, I'd gladly wait a few moments or minutes to get something that looked more appealing. The broccoli was tasty as were the sweet potatoes, but the tomatoes, while appearing fresh, tasted like they were partly fermenting. I couldn't get past the flavor and just left them. The quinoa was unremarkable and I didn't eat too much of it, either. I paired my lunch with the Sweetgreen branded Hibiscus Berry Tea which was tasty. All in all, for healthy food, I was sad that there were no other options for the base (rice or quinoa). Cauliflower or something Whole30 or Paleo-friendly (aside from salad greens) would be a welcome alternative. With the many alternative restaurants with similar foods close by, I don't know when or if I'd be back unless accompanying someone else who wants to eat there. Like I said in the beginning, it was good, but there wasn't anything I ate that made me want to come back for more. The speed with which I got my food as well as the friendly service, however, were both really good. If you're on a time-crunch and want a healthy and good lunch, this is a good spot to go if you're close by. read more

This was my second time coming to sweetgreen and it was absolutely delicious! I came with my sister and the people who worked there were super welcoming and took the time to explain everything to us; even giving us their personal suggestions. I got the crispy rice bowl with tofu and my sister got the harvest bowl tofu. We both ended up switching because we like the others bowl better. The harvest bowl tasted super fresh with the addition of the crisp apples and goat cheese. My sister and I gave it a 4/5 only because the tofu was dry and a bit bland. The bread on the side is free, but I wish it was a roll or came with butter, because it wasn't as good on its own. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back to do try some of their different bowls. read more

The onion and cucumber were chopped so poorly that they were just huge, uneven chunks--completely unappetizing. On top of that, the portion size was ridiculously small for the $18 price tag. A whole cucumber and onion each cost about $1, so why am I paying $18 for low-quality ingredients and barely any food? I'm paying for fresh, high-quality ingredients, and this is the second time I've had this issue. Definitely not worth the price. read more

My absolute favorite salad shop. I've tried the other salad brands in Houston and nothing compares. They are either too expensive for such a small portion or their protein is ridiculously priced for a tiny amount and tastes like chicken from a can. I got so excited when I discovered sweetgreens was nearby. Literally had it everyday for two weeks straight for lunch and realized being a member and ordering in store has no perks for loyalty. Regardless, I love their go green vibes with their containers and serving utensils. Love their no sugar teas. Love their seasonal menus and dressings. It just never gets old. Love that you can customize the bowl. Also, everything is so clean and neat. If it was closer I would be here more often. I told all my coworkers about sweetgreens and they are equally hooked. I love Sweetgreen! and I will continue to go because of the good food, but last Sunday on November 30 I went and was surprised when the lady taking my order wasn't friendly. I usually have a great experience with this place and encounter welcoming employees, and that's why this experience was disappointing. For example, during this same trip I asked another person working there if my friend and I could have more dressing, and he was happy to help us and made sure we had everything we needed. Of course this one negative experience doesn't change how much I like the restaurant, but I hope that in the future employees can have more training with their attitude and being accommodating. read more

SweetGreen takes the idea of eating healthy and making it modern, you have the chill atmosphere of a Starbucks, the variety of any American diner joint + great atmosphere lighting for pictures... "if you're into that" and I have never been disappointed with their salads. You will always get a huge selection of various salads, and the seasonal ones are usually something I would have never thought of and get this... THE SALADS ARE ACTUALLY ENJOYABLE WITHOUT CHICKEN OR BEEF (lol). My go-to at the moment is the Farmhouse, you can only get this in the app, The salads are so big you can usually eat half now and save the rest for later, just a little tip. Because this is definitely one of the best places to find healthy options around. --- --- --- When we recently moved to the area from Tampa, we had a list of several restaurants we knew that we were going to miss, but I did not realize how big the void for healthy food would be. Specifically, Build Your Own Bowl concepts. BYOB(owl) restaurants were super common in Florida, so we just assumed that was the case here. Unfortunately, no. There was a place in Tampa called Fresh Kitchen, that was the gold standard for these types of places, IMO. You go through an assembly line similar to Chipotle. You pick your base, your meat, your veggies, your toppings and any extras. The quality of everything was top notch and you actually felt like you were meeting somewhere in the middle between super healthy and great taste. And there were plenty of other copy cats to Fresh Kitchen, but they seemed to be the OG. It's shocking that nothing like that like exists anywhere in the Woodlands, Montgomery, Conroe, Magnolia, etc. When my wife found Sweetgreen, we were kind of excited because it seemed to be the closest thing to it that we've come across. And while it's still a bit different, we both enjoyed our lunch here. I built my own bowl with rice, buffalo cauliflower, cucumber, brussels sprouts, sweet potato, blackened chicken, shrimp, parmesan cheese and balsamic vinaigrette. It was pretty ideal in terms of a guilt-free meal. It's always a good sign when you are satiated without even a hint of a food coma. We will probably be back again, but hoping for some more meat options other than chicken or shrimp in the future. read more

I was really disappointed with the service here. My boyfriend and I walked in on Tuesday and there were 4 employees. One prepping in the kitchen, one standing at the counter in front of us, one packaging pick up and another standing at the clock in area with a sink I think it was. Every single employee looked at us and not one stopped to help us. Stood there for about 3 minutes and another customer walks in. We are all just standing there waiting. The gentleman that was doing the chopping had to inform the employee that just walked into the building that we were all standing there. Poor girl just walked in. Not one of the 4 employees greeted us because they would rather wait for the next shift to take care of us. I really like sweetgreens food but the service makes me not want to come back. read more

Ate at sweet greens and shortly after was very ill. My husband had a different salad than me and he was fine so something about mine was bad and made me very sick. The staff seem busy, there was one couple in front of us and they placed their order and then the staff wondered off to do other things, which is a little odd. They finally said we will be with you in a moment. That should have been stated before wondering off but whatever. We made it through the order and the person checking us out seemed too busy to actually pay us any attention. I don't believe I was offered a receipt and he didn't hand me our salads, he left them on the back portion of the counter for me to reach over and grab.
