This is in the old Cafe Express restaurant space. It was interesting to see how they updated the design to suit Dimassi's. I think the decor is really nice. It's comfy and they play traditional music in the background. The food selection is plentiful so everyone should find something they like. My favs were the Baba Ghanouge, the Ozie rice, spinach, pita bread (so fresh), roasted veggies, eggplant, the meatballs, the gyro meat ( so tender), falafel, the thyme pie, jam cookies, and the baklava (divine)! And there was oh so much more to choose from. On diet? They got you. Want to pig out? They got you! Would I go back? Absolutely. But come hungry as you will want to try everything!

Just finished having lunch with my girls and I'm glad we chose, Dimassi's. It's a great place if you're looking for a clean buffet with a variety of delicious options that taste like a homemade Mediterranean feast. From the creamy avocado hummus to fresh salads, cucumber mint yogurt, the well-done and tasty grilled chicken and beef kabobs - it all hit the spot. When you're fixing your plate remember to grab a basket of naan which you could dip into the lentil peas soup. The price isn't too bad. It's usually $17.99 for lunch, $19.99 for dinner. If you plan on visiting during the holidays you'll pay a little more. It's $23.99 during the holidays. And, kids eat for $8.99. Still a great price for the wide selection of mediterranean dishes. You'll get your money's worth.

Absolutely delicious!!! I have never seen a Mediterranean Buffet and I am very glad we stopped by! Scrumptious food, everything tastes authentic and fresh, and all cooked perfectly well. This is an all you can eat and drink buffet but with quality. The service was lovely the owner was very nice to greet us and the men picking up the plates were fast and attentive. The ambiance is modern and causal vibes. Highly recommend to anyone in the area! :D

Everything was fresh and warm. So many drink options and pricing is not too bad, albeit expensive on the weekends as expected. Meat was definitely on the dry side especially the gyro which was underwhelming but the kebab was amazing and all the other dishes were great. Selection for the buffet was not overwhelming and the hummus and Za'atar were some of the best! Great place to come if you want a filling meal.

Fresh, delicious and plentiful. We stumbled across this place when we were in Webster and we'll definitely be back. This place is very clean. Gloves are mandatory while serving yourself. Employees are constantly cleaning things up. There are plenty of options including salads and hot dishes. There's even a dessert section.

Gorgeous & spacious interior but there are quite a few kinks that need to be worked out! - Ample parking in the gigantic lots out front - Service is very limited which I like. You seat yourself & immediately head over to the buffet line. They ask you to wear gloves to serve yourselves. Pick out whatever drink you'd like. When you're done, get up & pay. There were 3 employees working on a Saturday night: the cashier, one cleaning tables, and the cook. The biggest thing I wish they could improve on is how the food can get VERY cold, especially the meat entrees that are supposed to be warm. They're barely heated to begin with, and by the time you eat them EVEN if you move along fast in the line, it's already super cold. This included the baked fish, gyro, chicken, the rice next to it... Even the complimentary lamb shanks that come w/ the weekend dinner buffet were cold too :( This happened the multiple times we all went to get more food. Perhaps they can put an optional food warmer on the sides somewhere in the future? I found especially the meats to be difficult to enjoy when they were like ice :( It's fair price $20.99 per person for a weekend dinner, and nowadays that's a steal. But know ahead of time you're coming for quantity.

We have a young child, so we opt for takeout most of the time. Today, I got off of work early, so my husband and I wanted to dine-in child-free. We arrived close to the end of lunch hour. We saw the sign advertising for the chef combo, which I wanted to order after perusing the menu. The waitress was not friendly. Her demeanor and tone were not customer centric. She said I couldn't order the chef combo anymore. I told her it wasn't 3 yet. She said that they ran out of sides, so it wasn't an option. The message was fine, but the delivery was rude. I picked something else and was confirming what it came with, and rather than point me in the right direction, she went back and forth with me. My husband has worked in the restaurant business and was shocked at the interaction. I wanted to order an alcoholic beverage, but after the negative interaction, I opted to leave it at food only. I didn't want to stay longer than needed. I wish I could give this place a higher review, but I'm going to go back to take out if I come back. I'll think twice about dining here again.

Pack of 4, which was good. Chicken Sharma-- glad it wasn't on super thick bread, and I got extra pickles so I really liked it. Philly cheese steak-- it was a lot more bread than meat. Wouldn't get it again. Fries that came with the sandwiches- soggy, old tasting. Not fresh, crispy or hot. Really disappointed with the fries since thats the only thing one of my kids will eat. Also, again, no ketchup, and wasn't offered any. Mawal plate with salad and hummus-- my favorite thing, as the salad was fresh tasting and I liked the hummus. Had to warm the pita up, but it made all the difference. Chicken tawook with rice and fries -pack separate, I didnt try it. We will need to make sure to ask for silverware, napkins and ketchup next time. So, basic stuff, but I would come again for the kibbe and mawal plate.

For $16 bucks they could have gave more meat, I know if I sat down and patronize inside the restaurant I wouldn't have gotten what I got through uber eats.

I ordered the beef shawarma wrap as a bowl, and got to pick "unlimited" toppings from the 'Sides' menu (as many toppings as they can fit in the bowl). I got baba ganoush, tabouli, and cucumber salad as my sides for my bowl. The bowl was huge and the side portions were generous! The baba ganoush was heavy on the tahini (predominant flavor for me), so I wasn't too big of a fan of this take, but the texture was still good. The amount of shaved beef on the bowl was plenty. I couldn't finish my bowl, so I had a little bit to take home as leftovers. I'll definitely be back if I'm craving a hearty Mediterranean bowl and want to skip Cava!

And, against our…read morebetter judgement because the place only had about 40 reviews - which could easily have been a lot of friends and family dropping 5 stars upon opening - we gave it a shot. It was just okay. The good: Service was great. These folks greeted us and sat us quickly. Food came out hot and prompt, and we were checked on without being intrusive. Bathrooms were clean! The bad: The food just wasn't that great. The fries had good seasoning but I had quite a few that were more limp than crispy. The chicken shawarma wrap - my friend had the beef wrap - was somewhere around the quality of a really good soft taco from Del Taco - and I like Del Taco, so this is not as much of an insult as it might sound. I would just expect more from a chicken shawarma wrap - I was missing those bold but warm Mediterranean and middle-eastern slices that I would normally expect from a good shawarma. And no garlic sauce! I would definitely expect that classic garlic sauce on the wrap. I may be leaning too heavily on previous experiences with a good shawarma, but I just wasn't feeling this place. I would honestly give a 3.5-3.8 if Yelp would allow, but not in the cards. Not a bad little spot, but if you are expecting to be blown away by bold flavors, you might want to hit a different spot.

The stars finally aligned and I was able to meet them here recently. My mom wanted to order some dolomades to start off, and I'm not really a big fan, so I just figured those would be all her. But she offered to let me try one, and I can easily say that these were the best dolomades I've ever had. She agreed. I have no idea what they do to make these not taste so "sharp" like they usually do, but these were really unbelievable. For my appetizer, and I went with a beef/lamb gyro and it was everything you want in a gyro. Soft pita bread, non-gamey meat and everything in between. The greek salad that came with it was pretty underwhelming, but I ordered a side of greek fries too, and those were what I was hoping they'd be. We finished off by ordering a few desserts to share. I went with the strawberry cheesecake as the one I was mostly focused on, and loved it. This is definitely not a frozen cheesecake - they make them in-house and it's obvious when you take your first bite. I understand why Athena's Corner has such great reviews and hope to be back!

It's parked in the lot of a gas station, but also car shop, so parking is a little tight. The menu is to the point, with the main focus being on grilled items and wraps (like their name says). One thing to note is that they do offer rice as a side, but it's not mentioned on the menu. The service is friendly and they try to bring out the food as fast as they can. We got the beef shawarma with fries and the beef chunks with fat grilled (mention it to them if you want medium) over white rice. Beef shawarma is a large portion and it was served cut up. The meat was juicy and I loved the sauces and the veggies in the wrap. Also, loved the fries! They were seasoned very well. The wrap and fries also came with 3 different type of sauces: garlic, spicy, and the pink sauce. Garlic sauce was good, spicy sauce was spicy, and the pink sauce was my favorite, a slight mix of both. The grilled beef over rice was also delicious. The yellow rice was finished for the day, so I got the white rice and it was fluffy and went well with the meat and grilled veggies. The meat was a liiitle tough, but you can mention if you want it rare/medium/well done to them. Veggies (onion, tomato, and pepper) were grilled nicely. I enjoyed eating here, and I'll definitely be stopping by again whenever I'm in the mood for some grilled food or shawarma. I was invited to the food truck and this is my honest review.
