Excellent experience ordering catering for our wedding rehearsal dinner. Kelly was super helpful in deciding which foods to order and quanities. Everyone loved the food and we ate leftovers in the hotel the next day.

A no frills place with the most Delicious and amazing food. The gyro was exploding the flavor and I added hot sauce for the Final punch. I chicken cutlets I sampled were amazing as well as the boneless chicken was juicy too. You wont be disappointed the cooks are amazing. The owner was super-friendly too!

New Greek spot on Halstead Ave
    Chun M.

A new Greek restaurant on the main drag of Halstead Ave in Harrison offering the standard gyros, souvlaki & falafel. There's even spanakopita! This is a welcome change to mix up our lunch rotation. I got the Gyro sandwich which was decent size and not bad for $7.95. I asked for the works on it and it came with a yellow mustard sauce I wasn't too thrilled with and some french fries on top, which was unexpected. I'll definitely have to go back to try the Horiatiki and Prasini salads and maybe some Chicken Souvlaki. The Baklava looked pretty good also. Street parking if you can get it, but there is a hidden parking lot out back that you can enter from Harrison Ave. Some seating in front if you want to dine in and a couple of tables outside if the weather is nice.

Ordered take out from Dimitris tonight. I got the village salad with souvlaki chicken and really enjoyed it. The chicken was a bit dry but was flavorful and lemony. The lettuce and accoutrements were all crunchy and colorful . The fresh dill in the salad was fantastic. My husband ordered the souvlaki platter. He also said the chicken tasted good but was dry. His meal came with choice of hummus or tzatzki. He chose the hummus and what a choice he made! It was light but bold and rich and perfectly salted! Had there been enough hummus I might have made a meal of it. Is that gross? :) He also chose an orzo salad for his side. It too received high marks. The orzo was perfeclty al dente, the dill and cucumber were delectable, and the vinegar and oil dressing brought everything together. (My plain-pasta-loving six year found it delicious!) I will be back for more.

Super nice owners. Great food! Love the feta and gyro meat. This is a takeout place... not really sit down.

We had unsweetened iced teas, and the kids' seltzer came in a kid-sized cup. After ordering, we were served cornbread sticks, which were really good and a hit with my son. Elwood also brought crayons and paper for him, which was a thoughtful touch. We started with the gator nuggets and frickles. The gator nuggets were our favorite appetizer. The frickles were good, but the batter was fairly thick, which made the pickle flavor a little subtle. For my entrée, I had the fried chicken with collard greens and mac and cheese. The chicken was nicely crispy and came with four pieces, though it was a little overcooked for my taste. The collard greens were on the sweet side, and the mac and cheese could have used a bit more flavor. The highlight of our visit was the service. Elwood was friendly, attentive, and struck the perfect balance of checking in without being overbearing. Overall, the food was a bit mixed for us, but the excellent service, family-friendly touches, and pleasant outdoor seating made for an enjoyable experience. We'll be back to try some of the other menu items.

The soup was delicious and isn't on the regular menu but instead a special item. We tried the Cuban sandwich and the Steak sandwich both with the sweet potato fries. The bar looked like it was full of regulars. The staff were very friendly. This hidden gem is a must try!

What a great find!…read more We were in the area and wanted to find a place to sit down for a quiet low key dinner. Read the reviews and now have found a "go to" worth a short drive. We had the ribs, salmon, and skirt steak. All cooked in a smoker which added to the flavor perfectly. Each were cooked well... not dry but deliciously moist. Try the Brussels sprouts! Yummy. By the way... the appetizers were terrific. Their wings must be a hidden gem. I don't understand why more people don't go there just for that alone. The sauces were amazing and they weren't those scrawny little ones but meaty. For a small place it really is terrific. Oh yeah... almost forgot to mention... great coffee! Service was attentive as one of the owners himself was there to oversee. (Monty --- thanks again!) Don't be shy... give it a try.

And follow up to see what we though- ex- 'Did you like the chips or fries better'? (both quite good). Food was good too. Semi kicking myself b/c the breakfast/brush options looked so good. But I opted for the MPP PITA and had a bite of the ROTISSERIE CHICKEN CLUB. Again both solid but buyer's remorse after seeing the breakfast dishes. The restaurant is cozy w/ a real neighborhood vibe. Clean bathroom. Parking was easy. Overall, solid and positive meal. I'm coming back for breakfast.

Beautiful restaurant right next to train station. Parking is free which is great. Building was beautiful inside - upscale and elegant but not stuffy or pretentious. Highlights were polenta over artichokes, mussels in marinara sauce, cacio Pepe pasta special, lamb chops. Dinner finished on a high note as we ordered Italian donuts- zepoli - that desert was enough to feed table of 6 and had half left over. We arrived around 5:00pm ahead of the rush and were seated right away. Parking is easy with the adjacent lot shared with the train station, which makes this a convenient pre-commute option. The space is bright, airy, and modern, with a lively but comfortable energy. We were seated in the main dining room, and once the staff realized we were on a tight schedule, they were locked in, attentive, efficient, and mindful of timing without making us feel rushed. We started with the chipotle calamari, crispy with a smoky kick and balanced by a hint of lemon and sweetness from the balsamic glaze. I went with the Rails Burger, an 8 oz Wagyu blend topped with caramelized onions, mushrooms, bacon, and melted Monterey Jack, paired with sweet potato fries. A solid, satisfying choice done right. A versatile spot that works just as well for a casual bite as it does for a more elevated night out. Definitely one we come back to.
