Excellent experience ordering catering for our wedding rehearsal dinner. Kelly was super helpful in deciding which foods to order and quanities. Everyone loved the food and we ate leftovers in the hotel the next day.

New Greek spot on Halstead Ave

A new Greek restaurant on the main drag of Halstead Ave in Harrison offering the standard gyros, souvlaki & falafel. There's even spanakopita! This is a welcome change to mix up our lunch rotation. I got the Gyro sandwich which was decent size and not bad for $7.95. I asked for the works on it and it came with a yellow mustard sauce I wasn't too thrilled with and some french fries on top, which was unexpected. I'll definitely have to go back to try the Horiatiki and Prasini salads and maybe some Chicken Souvlaki. The Baklava looked pretty good also. Street parking if you can get it, but there is a hidden parking lot out back that you can enter from Harrison Ave. Some seating in front if you want to dine in and a couple of tables outside if the weather is nice.

A no frills place with the most Delicious and amazing food. The gyro was exploding the flavor and I added hot sauce for the Final punch. I chicken cutlets I sampled were amazing as well as the boneless chicken was juicy too. You wont be disappointed the cooks are amazing. The owner was super-friendly too!

Ordered take out from Dimitris tonight. I got the village salad with souvlaki chicken and really enjoyed it. The chicken was a bit dry but was flavorful and lemony. The lettuce and accoutrements were all crunchy and colorful . The fresh dill in the salad was fantastic. My husband ordered the souvlaki platter. He also said the chicken tasted good but was dry. His meal came with choice of hummus or tzatzki. He chose the hummus and what a choice he made! It was light but bold and rich and perfectly salted! Had there been enough hummus I might have made a meal of it. Is that gross? :) He also chose an orzo salad for his side. It too received high marks. The orzo was perfeclty al dente, the dill and cucumber were delectable, and the vinegar and oil dressing brought everything together. (My plain-pasta-loving six year found it delicious!) I will be back for more.

Super nice owners. Great food! Love the feta and gyro meat. This is a takeout place... not really sit down.

Great Lebanese restaurant with middle eastern/Lebanese/Palestinian/Egyptian staples…read more This spot has shawarma, kebabs, hummus, tabouleh, meat and vegetable pies, tons of fresh salads (some vegetarian, some with meat), falafel, gyro, and more. We had: The chicken kebab--huge, juicy pieces of chicken full of fragrant spice. It comes with a side of your choice--I had the grilled zucchini, which was just the right level of firm and well seasoned. The shawafel--something we've never seen before (and we eat a lot of this type of food). It's a wrap chocked full of shawarma and falafel. Crispy falafel, moist chicken, tons of spice and fresh veggies. My husband loved it. We also got their spicy hummus with jalapeño and cilantro. It was good, but wasn't as spicy or flavorful as I thought it would be. We got the fried cauliflower with tomato and garlic. It wasn't heavy or greasy and they veggies really brightened it up. Delish. We also had their bread pudding and kunafah. The bread pudding was silky and creamy inside with a mild crisp on the outside. The kunafah is a Palestinian cheese pastry in syrup, so a little sweet and a little savory. Great spot with an expensive menu. Will definitely try more from them.

The tea was hot, the service was quick and the food was good. I've never had such fluffy falafel. The split pea soup had big chunks of fresh veggies which was lovely. My husband had lamb with was juicy and delicious. The bread looked homemade too. If I lived anywhere nearby I'd definitely be back again!
