I highly recommend Dinardo's! Recently had our 2001 Jetta repaired at Dinardo's. Couldn't be happier! This was the first time using them. I had mentioned to a friend that I was getting very frustrated at the extremely high prices Thompson VW was giving on repairs. So when Thompson VW quoted $1100 to replace the coolant flange, I went to Dinardo's to get an estimate. Everyone at Dinardo's was friendly and respectful. They put the car on the lift, took a look around, and gave me a quote of around $400. I made very sure we were talking about the same repair, and they verified we were indeed. Dropped the car off a few days later to have the work done. They called back at the end of the day to say it was done. When we picked it up, they were again very kind. They offered us the old parts (Thompson never did that), and reviewed with us the work they did. They were very thorough and made sure we were satisfied. It's a week later, and we remain very satisfied. Not only did they do the work for almost 1/3 of what Thompson VW wanted to charge, but they did it on time, on budget, and at a high level of quality. Everything is perfect with the repair. It's great to see a local service center that give such great personal service and delivers high quality repairs at a fair price. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE unless you have little knowledge about the car you have. I have a Cl600 v12 that had one of the cranking sensor failed. I've specifically told them there were 2 of them and asked to change the other too. Instead they changed out the sensor that is working and left the malfunction there so the same problem happened when the car gets hot it stalled. The worse they told me there were other problems which cost a lot to fix and advised to get rid of the car WTF. Finally I had the car diagnosed at the Mercedes dealer and convinced them they need to change other cranking sensor. They agreed to change but i paid for the part. The car had no problem ever since....The only reason I took to their shop was it close to me. F &S auto across from them do a much better job. The DiNardo's Family Owned Shop is still the best I have ever been fortunate to deal with. They are friendly, courteous, and efficient. They no their way around a vehicle, and they repair your problems right, the first time! If you are not exactly sure of the problem, they will find and correct it, at your approval. They only use quality parts, and there are no hidden costs to the job being done. They also take care of the vehicle as if it was one of their own, keeping it clean and damage free inside and out while doing the work. The work is also done in a prompt timely manner. This shop has been around for over 40 years and unfortunately they haven't improved any. While they may know import cars they have little respect for their client base, several of those guys in there are so rude you would think your at an exotic car showroom ( one look around the lot would prove you are wrong, rusting hulks of old Mercedes and others ) I had taken my car there once for a simple oil change just to give them a try and I came out as a wide receiver when entering as a tight end ( if you get my meaning ) if you want to be talked down to, have repairs take way too long and then pay far too much, this is the place for you !!!! read more

Really bunch of rude people. They are supposedly Mercedes mechanics they say but when called and asked questions regarding my car they start getting very offensive and started yelling . Especially a guy that j talked to named Danny who is supposedly an owner. Wouldn't recommend these shop even to fix a bicycle. read more

If you like a small, family owned and operated shop with top notch mechanics then DiNardo is the place to go. I took my 2003 Volkswagen to them that was spitting out all kinds of problems and I got it back running like a brand new car. Everyone there is very friendly and informative. I live out in Upper Darby so I have to drive about an hour through 3 counties to get there if that tells you anything. I had the same mechanic for 15 years before he retired, and am thrilled to have found these guys on a total whim. I couldn't be happier with the service and quality of their work. Took my 1978 Mercedes-Benz 280se to Dinardo's to have the heat repaired. They told me they would call me when they had info for me. In two weeks they never called me. I had to call them. They replaced the heat servo and blower relay. When I pressed the Defrost button, the heat turned OFF. When I pressed the Off button, the heat turned on. When they returned the car to me, one of the three instrument cluster lights no longer worked. They had broke the socket the light bulb went into, while they had pulled out the instrument cluster. They had no problem trying to give me my car back without fixing their error. I brought the car back and they had it for another week. My girlfriend went to pick up the car for me when I was unable. She had to pick it up after hours, so they left the key under a floor mat. When she got about two blocks from Dinardo's shop, motor oil poured out onto to her sneakers. Somewhere between half a quart to a quart of oil leaked into the car. Apparently, one of the mechanics neglected to reattach the oil pressure line into the instrument cluster properly. Once again, I left the car with them for another week. Dinardo's would not take responsibility for any wrong doing, yet I was not charged to have the light and oil line issues repaired. I was not compensated for the floor mats I had to replace or for the sneakers my girlfriend had to throw away. She even sent them a nicely worded email, complete with pictures of the oil damage to her shoes and the puddle of oil in my car. Dinardo's has yet to reply in the three weeks since she sent it. After two weeks, the heat no longer blows in my car. Dinardo's Foreign Motors Inc. has been the WORST experience I've ever had with an auto repair shop. I spent $850 to have my car given back to me in worse condition than I left it. Use them at your own risk. read more
