This was my first visit. The salon was very clean, check in was very efficient (although I didn't receive a phone call to confirm my appointment the night before, which I've always found customary). My appointment was w Kristen Turner. I knew she was in training & I was there as a model to assist in her trg. She was VERY professional, thorough & confident in her ability, while always reviewing techniques & process w me. She was also very thorough in asking Hunter for review & advise when necessary. I have been seeing Maria at Dino Palmieri for a few years now and she is awesome! She always listens to what I'm looking for and recommends new styles, colors, and products that fit my budget and make me feel great walking out of there. I get compliments on my hair almost every time I leave and I always recommend Maria to everyone that I know. When I need to get an appointment last minute, I have occasionally gone to other stylists there and they are always really friendly and accommodating (although Maria is my favorite!) The only reason that I did not give this salon 5 stars is because there are a few receptionists that seem less than thrilled to be working with the general public. I don't know if they are just overworked, but, as the face of the salon, I definitely feel like they could be more personable and friendly to their clients. Part of me wants to give them 4 stars but part of me says just 3.. I've seen a handful of stylists here. Typically, I like to find a stylist and stick with them but for one reason or another here, usually due to scheduling, I've had to bounce around. It's not that they don't do a good job, because the finished product is nice. My issue is there has been a couple times where the finished product is not what I explained or showed to the stylist. This is frustrating because by no means are the services here cheap and you are stuck with the look until you return for your next visit. I would like to mention that on one of most recent visits I was very unhappy with how my color came out and the salon was very understanding and eager for me to come back and have it fixed the way I wanted. Also, I had Kristin as my stylist for the first time on my last visit and she's a great stylist. Very attentive to detail and in explaining what she's doing throughout the process. Overall, I'm sure I will return. I just hope that me and my stylist can get on the same page! read more

Cassie messed up my hair, I wanted purple and she made me fire engine red. I then had to come back 3 times and still did not get my hair color I wanted, 3 months later I'm still suffering because my hair keeps turning red. Avoid this salon!! The manager, though asked with several phone calls, failed to address an issue of the stylist literally yelling at me in front of everyone in the salon, saying I made her sick with a cold on the last visit, as if her X-ray eyes could track germs through the masks we were both wearing. Not withstanding the fact the stylist works in a high traffic mall and her own coworker was having a conversation about being sick. The lack of professionalism and sheer meanness of the attack was astounding. I sat in silence, vulnerable. And the hair cut was uneven, by the way. Still waiting for that promised refund! Before I came to Dino's, I had a previous stylist butcher my hair. My hair began with all brown and very subtle blonde towards the ends. I asked her for a subtle balayage with blonde and ended up getting FULL strawberry/ gold blonde hair about an inch from my roots. The toner lifted my hair terribly and she put WAY more blonde than I asked/ showed her. I was traumatized and panicked since it happened Christmas Eve. I then called a bunch of salons in the local area and they couldn't book an appointment for over 4 days, which was a NO for me (I couldn't even look in the mirror, it was that bad.) I ended up calling Dino Palmieri in strongsville and they booked me the day after Christmas. I explained my situation and basically said I needed a miracle. I had an appointment with Amanda D who listened to what I wanted. I was extremely nervous thinking that my hair couldn't be fixed since it was lifted, toned and bleached already. She ended up toning my hair with two different tones and putting different shades of blonde in it to match better and flow better to look more natural and subtle than what I originally had. I was thrilled when it turned out great and she did exactly what I asked! I am extremely happy with the results and think she did a great job!! I highly recommend her and Dino Palmieri salon in general. read more

They have aweful service. With the thunderstorms, it took me 40 mins to get to there from downtown and I was 20 mins late for my appointment. They just turned me away. Had no consideration. They didn't even ask if I was interested in any other same day appointments. I mean dude, seriously, it was my first time there. They just missed out on a great customer. Needless to say I will NOT be back. Hopefully they learn better customer service for their other clients. read more

I got my hair done at this place but it was actually the one in beechwood. at first I wanted some type of thing that was highlights into an ombré but wasn't rlly sure of anything. she suggested that I would like something called a balayage and I agreed to do it, but was a little uncertain at first. after she washed out my hair, it didn't look any diff from before but that's bc it was wet. after she blow dried it..... IT LOOKED AMAZING it also felt very healthy too. I also got it cut and layered and I instantly fell in love. the only downside is that it was pricey. depending on how much u want to get done, it varies. mine was approximately $200 for a cut and color but I personally think it was worth it. the staff there was phenomenal tho. what I mean by that is that they were super friendly and they kept offering me something to drink and offered to style my hair at the end and I absolutely loved it. This salon and hair stylist was recommended to me by my sister in-law and I loved the way her hair turned out so I decided to try it out and glad to say I was not disappointed!! Hunter was very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable with the process. I got a trim and highlights and he did exactly what I asked for. I had no problem with the color and high-lights. The girl did a great job. The cut was a little off and my problem is the prices. They charge an astronomical amount of money and the customer service leaves a lot of to be desired. The stylist was very nice its more as the front desk that seems annoyed when customers are there. I did not appreciate paying 40 dollars for a hair cut when it was uneven. Ah well- I gave them a few tries because of the convenient location and hours but I found another place that is cheaper and still of the same caliber. read more
