I love this place. I have been here a few times and had the pleasure of enjoying the round and square pizzas both. While I like them both, the Sicilian (square) is where it's at! It's crispy and chewy and basically just the best. I have a hard time deviating from the pepperoni and broccolini, I did add olives once. I could spend half an hour eating my way around the burnt cheese edge of a Dino's square pie and not even worry about the middle. The middle's great, I just don't have room because of the edges. This is a problem Pizza Hut has wrestled with for 20 years. They put chili cheese dogs inside their crusts but they should just talk to Dino. Just let some cheese crisp up on the pan, guys. It's not pizza science. And there are cocktails on tap, in case you have really cool friends that won't eat at a place without cocktails on tap. read more

Went there for date night and this place is awesome. We ate at the bar, the bar tender was very nice and helpful in helping us choose beer. We got the square bacon and onion pizza and it was one of my favorite pizzas ever. We will be back! read more

This place is not too bad. The crust on the round pizza came out pretty crispy borderline burnt. I'm someone who likes his pizza more on the gooey side and I usually always finish my slices even the crust but this was the first place where doing so was unpleasant. The service was prompt and attentive though which is why I still go with 3 stars. My favorite place is "Italian Family Pizza" but they were not open today which is why I have this place a shot. read more

We are never going back there even though our house is only a few blocks away from this place. We were waiting for the place to open and went to try about a month later it opened. Ended up waiting to sit down for 15 minutes so we just left. Loud and mediocre! We had high hopes for Dino's based on Delancey's reputation, but we were underwhelmed by both the service and quality of food. The two options for salads were basically some simple ingredients thrown in a metal bowl...oh, and they will get you some dressing so feel free to toss and clumsily serve on your own into smaller metal bowls. The pizza wasn't cooked completely and was a bit chewy. The service was also mediocre but based on how busy they were, I guess they don't care and that sentiment carried through the whole dinner. The pizza had a good crust and the toppings were high quality. The crust was charred in a few spots but this was actually pretty tasty - did not bother us as it seems to have bothered some of the other reviewers. There was not much tomato sauce on our bacon and onion pizza. This seemed kind of strange since the name of the restaurant is Dino's Tomato Pie. Or perhaps I just like a lot of sauce. The dining room makes great use of the space. Our server was efficient. The menu is sparse. Appetizer options are salad #1 or salad #2. There are a few pizza options and then one dessert. Overall, it felt like the restaurant was structured around the point of view of the owner, rather than the customer. "This is what we like, and we are pretty sure you're going to like it too." That's not a bad thing, but it definitely sets the tone for the experience of dining here. We arrived on a Saturday night. The room was about 90% full and we were seated immediately. I had misunderstood where I was meeting a friend and thought we were going to dinner there when my phone battery died. Really great pie. I love their square sicilian pizza, which has a bready crust that has ~notes of sourdough~. The bottom of the crust is fried in olive oil as the pizza cooks, so it has a nice crisp bottom. The hot salami pizza is on point. The white pie (round) nails it. Quality sauces & toppings all around. The place also doubles as a fun bar with many cocktails on top. Very good vibes here. read more

The pizza was lukewarm and chewy didn't taste fresh or too good tbh. At least that's the situation if you get it by the slice which idk about if it could be completely different from getting it by the pie. Solid spot. Great vibe and good service. The location is ideal for a pop in if you are bar crawling in the hood. The reason for a 4 star is that while the Sicilian is quite unique for Seattle, it has been a bit inconsistently cooked in my experience. Once it was overcooked beyond the normal burnt corners, once it was undercooked and overly doughy, and once it was the perfect blend. Dino's is one of my favorite pizza places in the city - with one caveat: the Sicilian pizza is really bad. But all the other pizzas are great. So go, but avoid the Sicilian so that you're not disappointed. read more

I really like Dinos. Typical CT style east coast pie. Its more of a delivery type place for me but I order often and we dig it.

Best pizza I have ever had! Atmosphere and service was amazing, too. We got a slice of pepperoni, cheese, and an order of garlic knots. We came around 10pm on a Monday night. I am a native of Philly pizza and Sicilian pizza is always special and doesn't exist on the west coast . Thick crust the dough rises more with more tomato base. It's not a true rendition of a true Sicilian but is still excellent. Great atmosphere , gear beer selection and a great pie . i can't comment on the "authenticity" of this style of pizza. the pizza is... fine. the round is the one worth getting, the square is too chewy and tough (and it's much smaller for $3 more). the sauce is meh, really acidic. THAT SAID, this place is across the street from me, so when i'm too lazy to walk and get the good stuff (big mario's), this place will do. the service is ... meh. the dude that just took my order was distracted and could not have sounded less interested in taking my order (and money). eating at the place itself... meh+. in this respect, they're on-par with big mario's. read more

Had a really underwhelming experience yesterday. Went in and tried the square pizza, which came out burnt and somewhere between hard and chewy (and not in a good way). I asked the bartender if this was typical and he said yes, and I asked if we could get a slice of the round, and he answered they didn't do that and that was that. We left half of the pizza behind and didn't even take it for leftovers. I really wanted to like this place -- I like their vibe and sensibility, but I wish they would up their customer service a bit. Go elsewhere. Whole pizza was burnt. When mentioned to the staff they offer to trade out the most burnt slices rather than fire a new pizza. The back booth was nice, however the bathroom was unkempt. There are many better places in Seattle to find good pizza, don't waste your time here. read more

Food: Sicilian style pizza: bready, square cut, burned on the edges. I really liked it, but if you don't enjoy charred or thick pizza, this won't be for you. I can see why people are divided on this place. Service: Service is not bad. You have to order from the bar, so it's partial service. Not overly friendly but not high 'tude either. When we went in the sign said "please wait to be seated" and then the hostess/runner looked at us perplexed while we waited and said "you can sit anywhere". A lot of unbussed tables. Pizza came quickly. Atmosphere: This is a freshly built "dive" as is in style at the moment. Not unlike Big Mario's, Lost Lake etc. I found charming if a bit overdone but these sorts of places are for nostalgia for a time the hipsters never saw. I leave it to you whether this is good or bad. Music was good and not crazy loud, I liked the low lights. $$: Initially I was a bit taken back by $27 for a Sicilian pizza. But it was worth it, four people can easily be fed with it. I'm not a tiny eater, and it was plenty and leftovers. Overall: I think this place has potential to settle in to being a nice local pizza joint/pre-func spot for the bars in the vicinity. read more
