Very tasty dinner here on a Sunday evening! Our server Mickey was very friendly and helpful to our party of three. This is a large space with lots of seating options and a big bar space. We started with the deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes and the fried shrimp. All were delicious but the deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes were definitely the highlight. My parents always get the smoked chicken wings with extra char and love them. I got the catfish plate that comes with 2 sides. This is ALOT of food. The catfish was fried to perfection. Their Tatar sauce is also delicious. The potato salad is so good omg but I could've skipped the Mac and cheese. I also had the French kiss cocktail (made with bourbon) which was delicious and well balanced.

Great service! Our waitress was nice. The place is cute. Collard greens and full rack of ribs could have been better. The ribs had a lot of fat and the collard greens had no ham, just carrots and greens. The donkey punch would definitely have you on your ass so be careful. Get the poutine, as a starter, it was delicious.

Tried this place for the first and it was tasty. I'm from the south so I expect my BBQ to taste a certain way. The food was good, but just not like I'm used to. It was a nice establishment on the inside and they were playing blues so that was a nice touch. I ordered the ribs and pork belly for my meat. The ribs were tender and falling off the bone. So good and smokey. You could taste the grill flavors. The pork belly was ok, but the portion size was small. The BBQ sauce it came with was okay, but it wasn't that great. The mac and cheese was sooooo good. The cheese is so savory and smokey. Definitely my favorite side dish. I ordered the sweet potatoes as the other side dish and without nuts (you can request). I think this dish could've been sweeter. It had a nice consistency and flavor, but the only element it was missing was the sweetness. The Donkey Punch is a go if you like rum. It definitely packs a punch, but nonetheless, it's a tasty drink. The fried green tomatoes were surprising because of the cheese on top. I've never had it like that before. It added to the taste. The tomatoes were nicely seasoned and batter. Pretty good appetizer!

This was my second time at Dinosaur BBQ and it was even better than the first time! I took my parents and we all split the appetizer sampler for 2, which had something for everyone. My mom loved the deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes. My parents also split the sweetheart deal, which comes with a full rack of ribs and four sides. The ribs were AWESOME! My husband and I split the brisket cheesesteak which was soooo rich and flavorful. The service was fast and efficient and all our drinks were delicious as well. Can't wait to come back for a third time!

I liked my meal at D-BBQ and give a solid 4 stars but it didn't put me in that 5 star mode. It came highly rated from a friend and it was a good dinner stop. The chicken and ribs were tasty but I really loved the fresh cut French fries. Delicious! The cornbread was a treat too, very unique with excellent flavor and texture. The place is what you would expect for a BBQ joint with a comfortable bar area and many table options. The service was very good and I recommend the fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade. I would go again.

I was here for the 4th of July the other day and had an overall great time. It was understandable busy for a holiday so I had to wait about 30 minutes for my table to be ready. Once seated, my waiter Issac took my order. I had the Donkey Punch drink along with two meats (Alabama White Pulled Chicken and St. Louis Ribs) with two sides (BBQ Beans with Pork and Harlem Potato Salad). In addition, I had 3 Creole Deviled Eggs and Cornbread with my meal. My food came out in a decent amount of time. My waiter didn't check on me during my meal so I wasn't able to order another drink, receive napkins, or another glass of ice water with lemon. It was a holiday but I was disappointed with the slight neglect/attention. A $50 tab was ideal for all that food with a drink. I definitely will come back on a weekday and on a non-holiday. I want to try the Henny Colada, Bar-B-Que Chicken wings, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens the next time around.

Got the family platter with my partner and sister and we had enough leftovers to bring home to feed 3 people! Finally checked this place off my bucket list and it didnt disappoint! Very good brisket! The ribs also fell off the bone too. Just don't get the shirley temple drink. Thats ass lol. Great place for a small or big group.

I've been going to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que for years and I absolutely love it. The restaurant is really big inside and they have a few tables in the front of building, so the wait is never too long. It is in a high traffic area though so it's still a good idea to make a reservation. For this visit we ordered the sampler plate that came with two of the following: Green fried tomatoes, Devil eggs, wings and a ribs. Everything on that plate was amazing.. the Devil eggs were so good, probably my favorite. I would have been satisfied with the app alone, it was plentiful but i did get a main and it was two proteins and side. I got the Alabama chicken, brisket, mac n cheese and coleslaw. The sauce for the chicken was really good and the brisket was so tender. I love their mac n cheese, its so creamy and the coleslaw is refreshing. I looove this spot and will always recommend it to others to try out!

Oldie but still goodie, so happy we came in, it was happy hour and boy did it make us happy. The place wasn't too full. Josh the bartender did such an amazing job handling the bar and the tables in his area with attentiveness, grace and a smile. The ambience gives southern comfort. We only did an app on the happy hour menu the chicken bbq nachos delish and the Mac and cheese which was cheesy and gooey like I love. If you're in the park slop area by the Barclays center stop in.

I love Dinosaur BBQ so much I went back to back nights. Since I'm from the Syracuse area I love to visit locations when I'm in town. This was my first time in the Gowanus District in Brooklyn and I love the vibe here. Wonderful smoked brisket, moist tender and great sauce. Had the BBQ beans and slaw with corn bread. The BBQ Beans stand out with plenty of meat. I could almost eat them as a meal. You never leave hungry here. Thanks for allowing me to get my "smoked bbq" fix!

This place has gone from average to bad. An Uber Eats delivery of half chicken with one side and a small tray of wings was just awful. The breast from the half chicken was severely overcooked, yet pink/rare near the bone, the mashed potatoes had an odd taste, they forgot to pack the BBQ sauce and the wings were slathered with the BBQ sauce on soft skin. Everything was very salty. Horrible all around and two meals ended up in the garbage. Never again.

Best BBQ in the neighborhood! If you haven't been, definitely check out Dino BBQ as their ribs and sauce are unmatched. I've been eating here for awhile now and even with me being now gluten free, they have so many delicious options for me to choose from. This was my first time ordering the mashed potatoes and they were pretty good and had Cajun corn inside. The drinks are always well made. The restaurant itself has ample seating inside and outside. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a seat but they allowed us to wait inside. The hostess and waitress were very friendly and on top of things. The only reason they are getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the meat was a bit overcooked.

I was told under this post by a representative of the company "don't hesitate to contact us -----to further discuss your concerns" which I did prior to (immediately as I opened the sad box) and after this response but no one ever answered. They wrote a response for customers on yelp, so they would assume this issue was corrected. WELL, YOU STILL ARE THE HOME TO TINY DEHYDRATED BURNT MEATS.

Great barbecue! Good brisket, although the slices are a bit thin and small. Great chicken. Overall a great place with reasonable prices.

My server was very attentive throughout the entire dinner without being overbearing. I wanted to mention her name but unfortunately misplaced my receipt. I love the fact that when I chose the calamari, that they do have the tentacles as well, and not just the rings. For Peaches Prime to meet that one thing was a BIG PLUS to me for a restaurant that looks a little bit more upscale. But the icing on the cake was the fact that I was able to ask for more calamari with the tentacles in less rings so for me that is a win! The drink glasses are quite small like most upscale restaurants are so by the time you put ice in a cup you don't have that much to drink. I ordered shrimp and grits and it has kale in it with mushrooms and the flavor profile was good, but it's not like a southern profile for grits. A southern flavor profile is more rich and hearty. It was good, but the grits were on the runny side. I was provided a fork. I thought it was a small joke at first. You 100% require a spoon and fork with the shrimp and grits. You need a fork for the shrimp and to remove the tails using your butter knife, but to eat the dish you need a spoon. I like the fact that the kitchen did have a little kick of spices. One thing that is always underrated when you go out to eat at a restaurant anywhere in the world, but especially in North America even in Canada, is that food usually comes out to your table warm not hot. But the food came out piping hot and I love that fact. So that's ANOTHER WIN!! They have non-gender restrooms. They were very clean. The hallway that leads to the restrooms seem to be in a different restaurant. I wanted dessert, but I didn't have the room for it after my delicious meal. I definitely will be back but it's not a restaurant that I can come to every week or else. It's not gonna be good for my diet. I would eat too much!
