At pickup there was obvious confusion and after several minutes and a consultation with the manager the young man at the counter said they did not have our order and asked if we would like to order. I am more of a fan of traditional Italian pizza and although they use a bit more sauce than I like their pizza is a lot closer than the bigger chains. They have a menu of several standard pizza choices as well as a selection of gourmet pizzas. You can also build your own pizza with a nice selection of ingredients. We've tried several different pizzas, I especially liked the Tuscany, and we were not disappointed with a single one. If I could leave no star I would. The service is pathetic. We stood at the counter for several minutes and not one person said they would be right with us. Went with my family of 6 over the holiday while we were traveling. We have gone to many Dion's before and once again we were not disappointed. The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly and efficient. We had a pizza and a sandwich and both were so delicious. My kids claimed the pizza was the best they had ever had. Went today (Sunday)and drove 40 min. with my family anticipating some delicious pizza before heading back to school. However, it was not what we expected, it took 1 hour and 15 min. to get our food and when it came out it was subpar. Wife and I have enjoyed 2 of their gourmet pizzas, the Tuscany and Santorini. Both pies were loaded with toppings and full of flavor. These pizzas cannot be compared with big pizzas chain pies. Hey hey. We're back. Checked into this pizza heaven around 5:00 for dinner and was greeted by 4 people. So great to feel welcome. Got our order in quick, offered items and set us up with times. Girls paid close attention to alterations and for once I didn't have to send anything back or question my order. So excited. The food is incredible as usual and was not charred or burnt at all. I think their food gets better each time. Downside however was the ranch dressing which I can normally drink was almost frozen. It was thick and resembled 90% of a Wendy's frosty. You guys might want to check the temperature of your fridge area or start shaking the dressing cups. Pizza was hot great and ready in time and staff was friendly. There was a lazy cleaning tables when we came in and they kept the place really clean. Bathrooms were clean and sanitary and parking lot was clean as well. The pizza does not taste bad but it is hella greasy. I have a pizza with a little bit of pepperoni and sausage but there is a pool of grease over the entire pizza. It is seeping into the flimsy box and coming out the bottom. The crust is so thin and the toppings are sliding off. Have to eat this with a fork. New to the area so I have several places bookmarked. This restaurant was one of the top five places we wanted to eat at while settling in. The service was really great when we were putting in our order with Daniel. Great customer service and very quick. The prices were reasonable as well. We got one large pepperoni pizza with a pecan chicken salad and a couple drinks for about $20. The food took about ten to fifteen minutes to arrive and by then we starving so I would have happily ate the side of the table for sustenance. The thing is, when we are starving, pretty much all food tastes divine. My salad was pretty good but the leaves seemed slightly wilted and not fresh. But the overall taste was about 3.5/5. The pizza, oh man oh man. Remember that we are starving okay. The pizza was so bad it deterred us from finishing the plate and had us reminiscing of being kids and eating mall food court pizza. The cheese was tasteless and rubbery and the bread lacked and hint of quality. The pepperoni were good. Overall the pizza earned a 1/5 stars. Which brings the overall review a 3/5 and a sad face because this type of kind customer service really would have done well with quality food. Would I return here? Found Dion's back in the late 70's in ABQ when I was riding my bike around the area and stopped in for a snack and have regarded Dion's one of the best Pizza places around. I have lived on both coasts and travelled the world. We were passing through Las Cruces on our way to California and we took a short detour just to have some Pizza from Dion's. On our return trip we will most likely stop by again. Keep up the excellent food and y'all really need to open some in Texas, especially Killeen next to Ft Hood. read more

First and last time getting a Pizza from here. After half of the first slice, could no longer eat the crust. Tasted like cardboard. Most of the ingredients were okay, the peperoni was not that tasty. Ended up scraping the top of the crust off and eating that. I suggest a new recipe for the crust and change your vendor for the peperoni. read more

Amazing customer service and delicious food! We ordered a pretty giant order today as we were on our way home from the grocery store. I had my 97 year old gramma with me and we bought some groceries that included ice cream and some other frozen foods. We timed it perfectly so i arrived at the exact time my email told me to, 5pm. I went in and was enthusiastically greeted by several staff members, then proceeded to tell them my name and what we ordered. After about 3 minutes of looking, the girl who helped me asked her team member for help. After a few more minutes they found that our online order didn't print And wasn't ready or even started. They did such an amazing job of apologizing and quickly starting my order they worked fast and made things more than right with us.
