My wife and I visit this nail spa about every three weeks and both get a pedicure and my wife a manicure. We always make appointments with Dion and Heidi and both are excellent. Very friendly, strike up funny and entertaining conversations. We have reached the point where Heidi charges her portable fan for me each time I come in. We highly recommend this business and if possible ask for Dion or Heidi. You won't regret it.

When a woman gets her manicure and pedicure, she is bound to change plans for the moment, day or maybe weekend. Why not? Who doesn't want to show off her nails after an appointment with Kim? Stumbled on to this salon in the area and so happy I did. New to Peoria so I had to trust my Yelpers and the Elites for recommendation. In a plaza with plenty of parking, I was able to snag an appointment for SNS dip same day. They take walk ins but with dip manicures I like securing a spot. The salon is very relaxing and clean with reasonable prices. I got Kim and she is phenomenal. Quick, talented and very skilled, she completed my ombre dip in less than an hour despite their peak time. She nailed the technique and ballerina shape I prefer for my nails and just impressed. I will be back every time I am in town and highly recommend Kim! Life should consiste of love, happiness, purpose, making money and giving back. You gotta do it with killer nails too!

This week, I experience Dip nail spa for the first time. I've been to a few different nail salons in this one by far exceeded my expectations when I called and made an appointment. They were very nice and accommodated me the same day. I was fortunate enough to get Linda who kept me smiling and laughing With her fun stories and her good nature as she did my pedicure. The environment was clean and well kept and the workers all seemed very friendly and happy after my pedicure was done. Kim did an amazing job with my backfill and gel nails. she took her time and it showed, I love my nails so much and I've already gotten a lot of compliments. I will definitely be coming back again.

I absolutely love this place! I have been to several salons in the area over the years, but this one is my absolute favorite. It's extremely clean, modern, and the staff take all the necessary COVID precautions. Although Dip is their specialty, they have a few staff members who do great acrylic work! My nail tech of many many years and her husband sold their shop. It became very loud and the new owners are so obnoxious and didn't enjoy going anymore. Was so excited when they both moved here. The shop is beautiful, clean, quiet and all the employees seem happy and stress free. Employees are also dressed appropriately which was lacking after the last shop I went to sold. I highly recommend this shop. Love Kathy that's why I stay with her. Bryan is also amazing and Mia from the previous shop is also there and did my granddaughters, she is also exceptional. If you are looking for a great shop, this is the shop for you. It's obvious Kim loves her customers, employees and shop as soon as you walk in. Great experience. read more

For a basic fill took over an hour and half. Charged me for a back fill which I did not ask for nor did she ask me and cost me 10.00. She used my power and just complained the whole time while she used it but charged me full cost when I received 5.00 off the last time I came in. Just not good service and my nails look ok. read more

I have been enjoying this new nail establishment for a few months now. I go into the nail spa thinking I want to work with one individual, but they are inevitably off for the day or on vacation. I am a creature of habit, so I always get a bit worried when working with a new nail tech. Honestly, I have not had a single bad experience with any of the techs whether it be for a pedicure or my acrylics. I have worked with John, Andy, Mindy, and Heidi. Made an appointment for my friend and I At 11 on Sunday. We arrived a little early but we were still seated right away. We both got SNS. There were so many colors to choose from! The ladies that helped us were very pleasant and did a wonderful job. Nails are smooth, and not thick like dip can sometimes be. The owner was so friendly and very funny!!! I got them done just now and I am extremely happy with the outcome. I've been to previous salons and had bad experiences and this was the first time that I left super happy. The workers were very friendly and nice as well as completely heard out what I had in mind and gave me advice. In terms of the environment it was very clean. This salon was so welcoming and service was great. Everyone was friendly. I came in for a soak off after getting my nails done for years. The two ladies I had were very gentle and cared about my natural nails a lot, as well as respected my time to make sure I was ok with staying longer to make sure they got my nails healthy. I just want to tell the world that as a male, I now get monthly pedis at Dip Nail. I used to be shy about it but now it's my go to place. the owner, LaLa made me feel special and comfortable. from the massage chairs to the wonderful way they take care of my feet is beyond belief. I'm not sure what's going on but my experience was not the best. Went in for a manicure and pedicure with black polish but left out with an incomplete pedicure and no manicure. The lady weirdly cut my toenails off and could not polish. She had polish all over my cuticles and said it was like the because of my toes. Really!! After that they had the nerve to keep asking me to get the manicure...NO! THE ONLY THING I WANT IS TO GET THE HECK OUT OF HERE!! Now I have dirty looking toes because she left the black polish underneath my toenails. Send an ambulance!! read more

Ingot an SNS manicure here by Dustin and it was really great. The salon is brand new and they are fully equipped with plexiglass and taking proactive measures to social distance and keep everything clean. They have the largest selection of colors to choose from, and the technician that did my nails did a wonderful job. The prices are fair and I will definitely be coming back here in the future. read more

LA did a wonderful job on my full set nails. I've only ever had a full set once and I didn't like them so I had them removed the next day. LA really took her time shaping my nails so they are a great fit for me. I wouldn't think I could get nails like these at a salon! Would think I need a personal nail tech. LA is great. My last visit was not great. The man who did my dip nails was in a rush and condescending when i asked him to be more careful with his drill. I decided to give this place another chance so I came in for dip nails and got lucky to get Kelly. She did an ombré on my nails and they are thin and beautiful! Went in for a pedicure and it was pretty terrible. I let the woman know I had calluses and needed her to focus her time on that. I told that she could forgo the massage and just focus on callus and cuticles. Truly the worst experience. When I voiced my concerns I was told she had cancer . Which of course I am sorry to hear. At first I had a different opinion about this salon. Though, after today I can definitely say I will be coming back. They strive to have all of their clients satisfied and are willing to fix anything to make you happy. Susan did an excellent job on my toes. She was sweet and attentive. Cindy did my nails, she was an expert and knew exactly what I wanted. Reasonable prices and quality work. The salon itself is nice and clean, quiet and comfortable. The receptionist was also very helpful and made sure that I was taken care of. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the Lake Pleasant area! read more

I came into this nail salon with simple request. I didn't have all the time in the world and the nail tech Andy did consider the time he took. However, I asked for dip powder with a chrome overlay and he apparently decided he wanted to do acrylic overlay. I didn't ask for that. I also didn't get acrylic tips or anything put on. These are my real nails. I'm not a fan of how they turned out but more importantly he did what he wanted to accomplish what I asked instead of what I asked. When I got up to the front counter they asked for $80!!! I have never paid more than $65 and that's with acrylics, designs, dip or gel or French tip! Absolutely insane for white tips painted on and a chrome overlay. I will not be back to this place at all. Poor job, poor communication and Rob you of money. I didn't have time to sit and argue about the price but I should not have paid that. They need to make it right! read more

Tee is by far my favorite nail tech; her work is superb! She has been doing my pedicures for years but recently she has gotten me addicted to dip nails as her work lasts me 3-4 weeks before I need to get a new set - and only because of growth (no chipping whatsoever). I love the strong, healthy feeling of my nails now since doing dip with Tee. She makes color recommendations for me based on my preference for neutrals and is always so personable. I met Tee and her brother Sing at another nearby shop but followed them here to Dip Nail Spa since both are simply the best at what they do. Sing is managing Dip Nail Spa now and as I got my nails done, I saw how he warmly greeted each new guest and had them promptly seated at a chair for service. Kat also came over from the same shop as Sing and Tee; Kat is a favorite of my daughter's (as well as mine). Kat can do designs and has done fun sets on my little girl for over a year now. read more

10/10 do not waste your money here. I learned that a long time ago but against my better judgement I went there to have my acrylic soaked off since I received a gift card for my birthday. During the initial drilling of my nails, the tech burned me because she was drilling too fast. Then instead of letting my nails just soak, after about 3 min she went over them again with a drill which is not industry standard (I know because I have my nail license in a different state). She proceeded to cut my other pinky with the drill so I asked her to only use a nail file and allow my nails to soak off longer. She seemed to get upset at that and would not speak to me in English even though she had done so before. Someone else came over and asked me what the problem was so I told them and that I only wanted a nail file to be used. Then the woman I'm assuming is a manager came over and sat down. She grabbed the drill and I said "I do not want a drill used on my nails". She very rudely replied "I know" and then put the drill down and started wiping off my nails. She grabbed my left pinky extremely tight and then grabbed the drill again to use on my nails. I told her again that I do not want a drill used on my nails and I will leave if this can't be respected. I had to yank my hand out of hers because she was still planning on using the drill. Words can't express how upsetting this is that she clearly stated she knew I didn't want a drill used but still tried even going as far as holding my finger very tightly. Another nice gentlemen came over to finish soaking off my nails the correct way but even he left me with a mediocre gel manicure. I will never step foot in there again and you shouldn't either. read more

I've been to many nail shops and have had my nails done by so many nail techs but none have done my nails so beautifully, give me excellent service, and are so kind and patient to me than Tee & Sing. Then again she gets my cuticle and I jerk my hand out of reaction and I And she says verbatim "you are kind of baby" and I looked at her and said "excuse me?!?!" And she didn't say much after that. When I had picked my color she went and got a different color and said this one's prettier let's do this one. And I'm like uhhh ehh and she said ok you pick and I said I'll keep the dark one I picked out. At some point she got hot and put the fan in her face and being silly she put the fan in my face and then I smiled but then she pulled her shirt collar outward and put the fan angled down so the handheld fan was by her chin facing down. And then while I had my hands with acetone foils on all my fingers and with how fast she did it.. she grabbed my shirt in the chest area and put the fan to my chin to have air blown on my boobs. And I kinda froze up and was really quiet and I didn't say much after that. She kept trying to push a manicure on me I had to tell her no over and over and over that I only want a GELL manicure and as the session went on she told me I'm too sensitive and I shouldn't get GELL. And I said why? She said because I'm too sensitive and I look at her and say no. I like GELL. After another time she burned my nail with the drill she rolls her eyes and said do you want her to finish? (Le Ann) and I said you know what yes. I want her to finish. She was so so so damn rude. Absolutely Crossed boundaries. Tried to make me feel like I was doing something wrong. She also asked me if I'd been there before and if one of her coworkers had done my nails and I said yes everyone in this room (3 other people) has done my nails before I've been here forever. Not once have I been treated like that. She literally was calling me names while expecting me to pay her? Like It's her job, not mine. So if you wanna be borderline assaulted, talked down to, told that your color is ugly, and be treated like you're the biggest inconvenience on plant earth, you'd like it here. I ended up getting up and gathering my stuff and told the lady that she could have my appointment since I had been sitting around for 30 minutes with nothing happening. I looked at the lady who had scheduled my appointment the day before and who had checked me in the day of and she gave me no response. I went out to my car and the lady ended up making an appointment and following me out. Just asked what happened and I explained the situation and she had told me that most people were walk-ins for this establishment.Also the other two women that were waiting left shortly after I did and I asked if they had an appointment, but they said that they were also walk-ins. I don't understand why you would take an appointment and not honor it. There is a reason for appointment, mainly so we can keep our schedules for the day. After seeing the empty books and being told that most people are walk-ins, I believe the two ladies they helped before me were also walk-ins (not verified), and ended up taking my reserved time. It's very frustrating at the lack of professionalism with businesses nowadays. Nothing was done to honor my appointment, nothing was said when I voiced that I had been waiting for 30 minutes, and nothing will be done because I am just one person. I am not telling you, whether you should or should not use this company for any service, I am just providing a rating of my experience. I have a place that I normally go to, but it is 30 minutes away and they are fantastic. Looks like I need to go on here and give them a rating too to show how much I appreciate the service I received from them. Looking forward to a reply.

Instead of explaining the situation or giving me the option to decide what I wanted to do, I was simply placed with a completely different technician with no explanation. When I finally asked why, I was told that the technician I had booked doesn't do full sets. That doesn't work for someone like me. When I find a nail technician I like, I stick with that person. I'm not looking to have one person do my fills and someone else do my full sets. I want to establish a relationship with one technician who can consistently do my nails and knows exactly how I like them. Unfortunately, I wasn't confident in the work of the technician I was moved to. He was applying the acrylic much thicker than I wanted, and I had to stop him and ask him to make it thinner. I've worn my nails essentially the same way for years, so I knew immediately that the amount of acrylic being applied was going to result in nails much thicker than I prefer. Then there was the aggressive filing that cut one finger and left several of my fingers sore. I was also charged an additional $10 to remove my existing nails. I understand salons can set their own pricing, so the $10 itself isn't the biggest issue. My previous salon doesn't charge me separately for this, and I think they understand the value of having a client who returns every few weeks. Combined with everything else, the experience here felt much more transactional than what I'm used to. It's unfortunate because the salon has so much going for it. The location is beautiful, the space is gorgeous, and I genuinely came in hoping this would become my new regular salon. But being moved to a different technician without explanation and then leaving with a cut and multiple sore fingers is enough for me. I will not be returning.
