Color me vibrant in both asthetics and flavor! I got a blend of matcha, blue magic açaí, and regular açaí. Let me tell you, because the photo doesn't do it justice (I couldn't wait to tuck in) - the vibrant and complementary colors of velvety purple, electric blue, and scrumptious greens of the base were not only delicious to eat, but oh so pleasing to the eye! This ice cream shop is very close to UCLA. When we walked in the man who worked there told us that the menu on the wall had not been updated, and he pointed at an iPad. Then he went into the back. We ordered from the iPad. He came out and he completed our order daily quickly. We ordered a Chocolate Espresso milkshake and a scoop of chocolate ice cream with a brownie and Nutella. Came to beat the summer heat with an Acai Bowl, but left having discovered one of the yummiest crepes I've had in my life. For the acai bowls, there are 5-6 different bases to choose from (e.g., acai, coconut, mango, cocoa, etc.), plus toppings like granola, honey, bee pollen, and more. What I like most is that you can choose up to three bases plus whatever toppings you like for the same price. Usually, acai is my favorite, but I actually preferred the mango base here, and wish I would have tried the coconut base instead of the acai. The crepe here blew me away -- first, I love that it's not a traditional one that's folded over, but that it's completely wrapped on top and bottom, as this makes it a perfect shareable finger food. The crepe batter is tasty, you can choose your own fillings and sauces to go inside and drizzles on top. Huge fan!! If the food hadn't already earned 5 stars in my book, the friendly employee solidified it. Even though they seemed to be the only person working, they regularly checked in on us (and the other couple at the restaurant), getting us water and offering a sample of the acai bases before we ordered. They were helpful and friendly. The interior of the restaurant is pretty small, and there are only about 5 tables for two people each along the wall, so if you're looking to go as a group, you'll have to find a park or somewhere close by on UCLA campus to enjoy. Came back here recently after getting acai cravings. unfortunately, it seems the owner hasn't listened to any Yelp reviews. i got the large acai bowl so it was like 16.99. To my disappointment, the bowl wasn't even filled up. In fact, it was only filled up with the toppings until 80%. You can literally see in the photos of how much gap there was. If I wanted a medium bowl, I would've gotten one but I paid for a large that wasn't even filled to the line. I will be filing a chargeback with my bank for this since it's incredibly predatory as a business to do this. Edit to the owner: My issue is that you don't even fill your bowl up to a standard size. The bowl is literally 1/4 empty. This is an appropriate size? You provide a product with a specific size (20 oz I believe or 16 oz) and then you don't even follow your own size and decide to skimp out on portions. That's like going to a coffee shop and getting a cup that's only 3/4 full. I think most people would be upset with that. And yes I'll file a chargeback since I definitely paid way too much for how much you gave. At the end of the day, the bank will decide who's in the wrong so if I'm in the wrong then what does it matter to you that I filed it? Second edit to the owner: I literally didn't go in the store?? I had someone (who's deathly allergic to peanuts so I'm assuming they didn't eat anything) order it so I'm guessing you're lying about having me on camera. read more

i've gone here before and enjoyed it, but i just visited today and can't go again. i got an açaí bowl and could not finish it. the goji berries i ordered were missing (which is fine on its own), but the mango was jelly-like and appeared like it was canned, and had a strange air freshener-like taste. but the worst thing was finding moldy strawberries once i got into the base (scary because i might have eaten one by accident). won't be going back again unfortunately :( read more

I am an açaí FIEN I love how dipnmix had a diverse flavor range with so many toppings to chose from. I got the blue magic and matcha base with chia pudding and toppings. The matcha tasted very earthy, my personal preference but still okay. I felt that it was hard to distinguish between the flavors. The owners were pretty nice and gave recommendations that made our experience more memorable. That being said, I don't think that it was worth $13.99. Okay why did no one tell me Westwood had acai bowls?? I'm not kidding I've been ordering delivery from other spots for months to get my fix!! I've always known dipnmix to be the spot for crepes, but they also make great milkshakes, smoothies, and acai bowls with unlimited toppings!! It's cool to watch them make the crepes fresh, and they are super good!! This is my new favorite dessert spot to bring friends in Westwood!!! The bowl was lacking flavor, and the portion was pretty small. For $14, it was definitely not worth it. We came here 09/27/23 at 4:30pm. The drinks were super watered down and very bland. We ordered the acai peanut butter and the super pitaya. The Acai peanut butter didn't have any peanut butter... The guys remad our drinks outside this time where we saw him and he just put tap water in the drinks which should be ice....cause that's how you make a smoothie. So again our drinks were watered down but at least the flavor was a little bit better. Overall, it was a horrible experience and will never to coming back unless they change. Oh yes, they were one of the vendors at a Yelp event held inside Sports Basement in Long Beach. I didn't get a chance to try their acai bowl because I was slow in getting to their booth. You know what this means. I had to try them once and for all right here and now. I walked in and no one was present at the front counter. It's a small shop with some merch for purchase. Soon after my entry, a young gentleman walked up and took my order. At first, I wanted to get an acai bowl since it's their speciality. They have Build Your Own (BYO) options in bowls and smoothies with various sizes from 12 oz to 16 oz to 24 oz. Then, I saw Very Berry Smoothie that also has acai along with various berries. Well, why not get both acai and other berries. Very Berry Smoothie it is! OMG, it was so deliciously good and sweet! It comes in layers of fruit goodness. I couldn't stop drinking it. I would definitely get it again. Price was over $10, but worth every penny. Highly recommend Oakberry Acai! I'll look forward to seeing them again. Next time I'll try their acai bowl with unlimited toppings. Btw, it's not your run of the mill acai. It's Oakberry Acai as in its biz name. It's vegan, all natural, and organically grown. I love their concept of using a cup instead of a bowl as it's easier to hold and eat from. Thanks for being thoughtful in the packaging!

Welp, I'm still trying to figure out what they are doing that is right, because my Acai bowl was so wrong. I actually came here twice. The first time I was told they were having problems with their machine. I came back the next day and it was fixed. I found the menu to be a bit overwhelming, so I went with a basic Acai bowl (which is actually a cup) and pretty much instantaneously regretted coming here. The Acai mixture in my opinion is too sweet. I want to taste the acai- not be overwhelmed with sugar. It was gross. Next, I found the granola on the cup to be very unsatisfying. It just wasn't good at all. I know someone else mentioned a rancid taste. While I don't think mine was rancid, at first I kind of got that taste, but decided, it was just a lackluster granola. I felt the peanut butter was skimped on. It's like they smeared it to coat the inside of the cup to give the illusion of a peanut butter layer, but when I got to it, there was barely any. The fruit on top was so little- the variety I ordered only had banana. There's wasn't anything I could see that also had PB and granola...those ingredients are pretty standard everywhere else, but here you would have to pay extra. Ultimately the acai here is too sweet, and the restrictive nature of ingredient variety are a hard no for me.

However , for 18$, I respect the flavor but it's not for me. 7/10 The customer service was great and quickly and freshly delivered. Enjoying a healthy treat for the gains, stop on by!!!

Only one problem was they used the stable non-stir one, which was quite hard to blend together with the acai base. Beyond that, obviously I was happy with how much PB I got as I could literally enjoy every single spoon with strong PB taste. The fruits were all super fresh, made the acai base became not only refreshing but more flavorful. As for the base itself, I would say it tasted decent enough, but nothing in particular to callout compared to a kind.

This is a great deal, but definitely very filling. I'm still stuffed hours later, but so satisfied and happy. I also ordered an iced strawberry matcha, which is also fantastic. I love the bits keep fresh strawberry that sneak up the straw every so often. We cannot wait to visit this place again. The servers were also very friendly and attentive.
