He claimed to change a part and that it was fixed and never gave me the discount I was quoted and never gave me a receipt. He also claimed to only take money via zelle. I attempted to use dryer that night but it still did not work so I called them back to take another look at it the next day, they had to refund me for the 20% discount (only because I mentioned it) . The second repair man was EXTREMELY RUDE and stated that he was driving from the woodlands to Katy and they he was wasting his time coming out! he stated that i needed to have the lint cleaned out of duct behind dryer which they did not do. I called a separate air duct cleaning company to clean air duct out and the dryer STILL DOES HEAT! So that tells me I was scammed! I don't think the part was ever changed. The technician showed up, said he needed to order parts and we never heard from them again. They refuse to answer the phone and believe they blocked us after a while. After almost 2 months of trying to make this work, we contacted Lowes who then told us the technician filed a report saying he was unable to do the work because he claimed it was out of warranty. I am sure he got paid by Lowes for the visit, so it sounds like he is either mistaking us for someone else or... Anyway, Lowes said there is nothing we can do until we "make things right" with this company. I just called my credit card company and filed a claim thru them. So, avoid both Lowes service protection and this company. Update: called mrappliance.com who gave me an appointment immediately and repaired the appliance the same day. They are awesome. I will now update my claim with Chase Sapphire to include reimbursement for these repairs. Advice remains: avoid Lowes and all their fly-by-night repair associates.
