The arrival window we were given was between 9-10 AM. Though we were told that we would be notified 30 minutes prior to the team's arrival, we didn't receive any texts. Today, Esperanza arrived alone at around 9:55 AM and said it would be $150 for 3 hours. Though we expected 2 cleaners for 1.5 hours, we agreed. Esperanza told us later after 2 hours of cleaning, that the kitchen and living room would take 2 hours instead of 1, so our total would change to $200. This was a little unexpected but we agreed to this too. However, she finished after a total of 3 hours of cleaning, she didn't need the additional 4th hour. But when we were about to pay, she charged us $200. We ended up paying $180 but she did maybe an extra 5 minutes at most, not a full hour, for the extra $30 we paid. Esperanza was nice and she cleaned our place well. We just weren't very satisfied with how what we agreed on, and expected, kept changing. Also, I'm not very sure if they take out the trash or not. When I asked, Esperanza agreed, but she looked a little surprised, so I guess this is one extra thing I was left wondering about.

However, I would give the office 1 to 2 Stars. I've used Maid in Orange off and on over the past 4 - 5 years and often recommend them to friends. For this particular visit, I booked one technician for three hours, with an arrival window of 2:00 - 5:00pm. Both the website and the reminder email make it VERY clear that this is an "arrival window" and not the actual hours that the technicians will be in your home. So, I planned my day around being home at 2:00. You can imagine my surprise when my teenage son called me at 1:25pm to tell me that someone was at the door to clean our house! For this particular visit, I did not want my entire house cleaned, I only wanted specific rooms/areas done. Because Karen arrived when I wasn't home (and because my son didn't know which areas of our home I wanted her to clean) she ended up cleaning and moving things that I didn't want her to touch. And thus, 15 minutes of the time that I paid for went to waste. Again, this was NOT Karen's fault, she said the office sent her. Honestly, I would have let this go and not written a review at all, however, I called the office at 1:30pm two days ago and still haven't received a call back. Also, in the past, I have always received reminder texts in the days leading up to my cleaning appointment and usually receive a text or call to let me know that the team is on the way....this time, I did not receive any of those texts. Perhaps there has been a change in ownership or office management??? I can recommend the Maid in Orange technicians but am disappointed with the customer service. When a customer calls your business to let you know that you've made a mistake, a returned call is the bare minimum.

I'm pretty easy going and understand stuff happens. What is leading me to write this review today is how their management handled my particular situation as a loyal patron of a few years. I have had a biweekly cleaning scheduled consistently for the past 6 months. Haven't asked for much change and always get my two cleanings a month - same day, same time. I asked for an EXTRA cleaning this month, so I wanted them to come MORE. The way they entered into their scheduling system deleted my current scheduled time. So to my surprise after I woke up early and spent an hour prepping them to show up at 8 AM, no one came. I called and asked what was going on and I had to follow up twice. They said I wasn't on the schedule until the 29th! I told them I needed it done today and they could not find a way to make that happen for me after I have probably spent close to $10k with the over the past couple years. I have 3 small children so it's not the most convenient to have services like this canceled and then rescheduled. Plus I stripped all my beds and picked up everything for them so they could do a deep clean, all for nothing. Instead of offering any resolution other than "we are sorry, we don't know why this happened", I was pretty disappointed to say the least. Needless to say I will be providing my business elsewhere.

I had scheduled my cleaning for a Sunday afternoon and received a call from Kiran saying that the team they had originally assigned was going to be later than the original time slot because they were at another place. Unfortunately that wasn't going to work for me so Kiran came herself to clean my place! She and Alex did an amazing job and made sure everything was clean and pretty! They were super nice and Alex ended up having to help me clean off a couple of things that were in the garage that I was taking with me (because I can't do spiders) and even helped me put them into my car because they were heavy. They took a little bit longer to clean my place but I'm glad they did because they actually cleaned so many things that other places would have you add on. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and go through them in the future!

And then had 45 minutes to vacuum and mop my floors. And she still didn't finish that. The largest and most used room was untouched. She had time left but she wanted to go at her slow pace. It was odd because she didn't seem to have what she needed to wipe the floor. And she didn't use a vacuum to pick up the dirt and trash. She didn't move any chairs around to get under things or under any rugs. There was no heavy lifting that would have taken this long. In my opinion she had enough time to do what was asked of her. It shouldn't take 2 hours to clean the floor and do 2 bathrooms. I can do all that within an hour. I think bc it's an hourly service vs. a project service they take advantage. My regular maid cab deep clean my house by herself in 4 hours! I can do all of that in much shorter time. I use a vacuum and my mop kit. I want ti like them. And use them again. And wish I can give them a better rating but I can't. Also, they sent the same maid from the first time. So I don't know what it's like with different ones.

Deciding to hire cleaners was a big treat for me! It was going to be my Mother's Day gift but I waited and put it off. Finally decided to just go for it based on the good reviews. I was sooo excited and I can't even to begin with how disappointed I was when they finished. I paid extra for the top to bottom deluxe because my 2 story home needed it. 2 techs came out and spent hours cleaning, it was difficult keeping my small children out of the way so we left the house for a few hours, came back and they were still cleaning which was fine, I thought wow they really put work into it! So it made me excited.. When they left, I walked around and couldn't believe the mess. Photos are attached. Kitchen was wiped down but the stove top and microwave wasn't even touched. The baseboards were not touched at all in the entire house and that's something I really looked forward to because who likes cleaning base boards. The light switches weren't cleaned, one of the showers was filthy, a sink in our laundry room was filthy, even the carpet wasn't vacuumed in the corners and cracks. They did a quick run with it in the middle, that's it. I contacted dirt busters with photos and told them how upset I was considering how big they advertise happiness with the service guaranteed. I then got a bill that was double what I initially booked for. I wasn't even going to pay the original bill after the service I got and they somehow send me an even bigger bill! What a complete joke. The manager has reached out offering a re do in services which I don't even want at this point considering how long it took and how it was with my kids. She made no response to the sudden change in bill. This was my first time having cleaners and a big amount of money for me and they completely ruined my experience. The point of cleaners is doing the cleaning that people dread and don't want to do. They basically did the floors and wiped down everything which is what I could have done myself. I do not recommend dirt busters one bit. read more

I have to admit, I hate cleaning. I hate the way my hands get after I clean my bathroom or the kitchen. The way i get all sweaty. The way I just want to sit back and enjoy some wine with dark chocolate. So like most young American girls I relied on the good ol Internet or I should say yelp. I was in search for a cleaning company, but not just any cleaning company. A company that was local not franchised and no corporate yahoos running the place. My father always told me, "work where you must, but live and spend in your neighborhood." I'm a local girl in Fullerton and Anaheim so I found the busters and decided to give them a whirl. Needless to say, they were just plain freaking awesome. They came out at the time I requested ( which is important, IM A LAWYER-Just like Harvey Levin) I think I misspelled his name :) Anywhoo, Mike came out and provided a free estimate. I thought gas was like $4 a gallon, who gives free estimates any more. I charge $350 an hour for your consultation. God bless his soul. Great guy, he explained the cleaning process and how they use 7th generation cleaning products. I could of swore I saw them at target, I be stopping by TARGE' later to today and I be picking me up some of the good stuff. Anyways, seriously guys, he was great. They cleaned my whole house, and the dryer vent. Which spuriously was super clogged, SHAME ON ME!! AGAIN IM A LAWYER NOT A CLEANER! I also scheduled the carpet cleaning and the upholstery cleaning. I hate carpet. It sucks. I cant wait to get an OJ SIMPSON CASE AND have enough money to replace it. J/K follow yelpers. Okay im not. Oh yeah, Mike is hot! read more

We hired Dirt Busters to clean the commercial grade carpet in our church library that was very dirty and had lots of spots and stains. Mike, the owner, handled our order and honored a quote that we were given on a previous call based on square footage. The job was done well and in a timely manner. The next morning (after waiting for the floors to be dry), we went in to observe the work and noticed that one area had not been completed. We contacted Mike and he sent the guy out within the hour to finish the job. Easy to work with, great communication, and excellent customer service. We would contract them again! read more

THE DIRT BUSTERS came out to my home to do a carpet cleaning and although they struggled to find a convenient water source, they managed with what they could, got the job done and did an awesome job! they had so much patience and understanding with the complexity of getting to both the unit and sources and still had a great attitude all the while. Fabian and his crew were very friendly and respectful and really took their time in getting my carpet cleaned-it looks better than ever! Mike has always done an amazing job for us. He has cleaned both tile and grout, area, rugs, and wall-to-wall rugs. I can always depend on him to be on time and do an extraordinarily clean job. . This is an amazing family run operation and I highly recommend DIRT busters. They are definitely my go to. Dirt Busters were referred to me by a friend that I trust. They did my carpet as well as cleaned and sealed my travertine floor downstairs, upstairs in my bathrooms and the shower floors. They did an amazing job plus I learned how to care for my floors better. I would recommend them to everyone and I plan on using them again. Then there's Mike, who is just a great guy. I won a free 2 hour house cleaning through a promo and I have NEVER had my house cleaned. They did amazinggggg and I was very happy. They were safe and efficient and got a ton done in the 2 hour window. I liked how I could specify what I wanted done and they were able to get dirt/grime/marks off that I was never able to. These guys do a great job. I had a major mold problem from a flood that was causing me to have nasty allergy symptoms. Thanks to Mike and Fabian I can breath again. I highly recommend The Dirt Busters, they have good customer service. They come to do a carpet cleaning and to clean my couches. The owner Jozef did not discount me because of this "glitch". When the ladies were cleaning, one was on the phone most of the time. I asked that they do the bathroom, yet when I inspected it the drawers were not cleaned out. Their vacuum did not pick everything up and I had to ask that they clean the sliding glass door in my bedroom. I asked if they could wipe down a stain on the wall and one of them said No I would need to use a magic eraser. She didn't even try to wipe off the stain so I did it and it didn't need much to get it off. After this experience, the value of my money is not worth it. Don't book them unless you want a mediocre job!

They were super nice and Alex ended up having to help me clean off a couple of things that were in the garage that I was taking with me (because I can't do spiders) and even helped me put them into my car because they were heavy. They took a little bit longer to clean my place but I'm glad they did because they actually cleaned so many things that other places would have you add on. When I ask for price estimate for a post construction cleaning on 04/24, they texted me saying $70hr for 2 CLEANERS (keeping screenshots). It is in my price range so I booked them for 4 hours. The cleaners Anna and Aida are very nice but everything was not finish since there are a lot that still need to be clean so I book them again today 04/25. This time they are charging me $70 an hour for 1 CLEANER only without telling me. I paid $280 for 2 cleaners for 4 hours on 04/24 and $347 (they give me a $38 discount when I call them) for ONE CLEANER for 5.5 hours on 04/25 when it shouldn't cost that much for 1 cleaner. I asked and they said the price is for the house, not cleaners. OK, so I asked if they can send 3 people on 04/26 to finish the job and obviously the answer is no.

Overall, I wouldn't rule them out as a cleaner but I would ensure you have a list ahead of time of the specific jobs that need to be done. Thank you to the owner for him caring enough to reach out. The arrival window we were given was between 9-10 AM. Though we were told that we would be notified 30 minutes prior to the team's arrival, we didn't receive any texts. Today, Esperanza arrived alone at around 9:55 AM and said it would be $150 for 3 hours. Though we expected 2 cleaners for 1.5 hours, we agreed. Esperanza told us later after 2 hours of cleaning, that the kitchen and living room would take 2 hours instead of 1, so our total would change to $200. This was a little unexpected but we agreed to this too. However, she finished after a total of 3 hours of cleaning, she didn't need the additional 4th hour. But when we were about to pay, she charged us $200. We ended up paying $180 but she did maybe an extra 5 minutes at most, not a full hour, for the extra $30 we paid. Esperanza was nice and she cleaned our place well. We just weren't very satisfied with how what we agreed on, and expected, kept changing. Also, I'm not very sure if they take out the trash or not. When I asked, Esperanza agreed, but she looked a little surprised, so I guess this is one extra thing I was left wondering about.

However, I would give the office 1 to 2 Stars. I've used Maid in Orange off and on over the past 4 - 5 years and often recommend them to friends. For this particular visit, I booked one technician for three hours, with an arrival window of 2:00 - 5:00pm. Both the website and the reminder email make it VERY clear that this is an "arrival window" and not the actual hours that the technicians will be in your home. So, I planned my day around being home at 2:00. You can imagine my surprise when my teenage son called me at 1:25pm to tell me that someone was at the door to clean our house! For this particular visit, I did not want my entire house cleaned, I only wanted specific rooms/areas done. Because Karen arrived when I wasn't home (and because my son didn't know which areas of our home I wanted her to clean) she ended up cleaning and moving things that I didn't want her to touch. And thus, 15 minutes of the time that I paid for went to waste. Again, this was NOT Karen's fault, she said the office sent her. Honestly, I would have let this go and not written a review at all, however, I called the office at 1:30pm two days ago and still haven't received a call back. Also, in the past, I have always received reminder texts in the days leading up to my cleaning appointment and usually receive a text or call to let me know that the team is on the way....this time, I did not receive any of those texts. Perhaps there has been a change in ownership or office management??? I can recommend the Maid in Orange technicians but am disappointed with the customer service. When a customer calls your business to let you know that you've made a mistake, a returned call is the bare minimum.
