Everything we had was flavorful, delicious, and all the meat was moist! I can't wait to come back and I'm sad it took me so long to find this place! Highly recommend!! Service was helpful and friendly. The restaurant felt very clean, spacious, and modern with a lot of natural light. They brought our food out to our table and gave us napkins and utensils, so we didn't have to get up and get them ourselves. Absolutely a great dining experience! The portions are also big! My bf and I each got a Hawaiian Favorite combo and couldn't finish them. The entrees are easily two servings for me, so it's a great value! The containers the food comes in are microwavable too, so extra bonus points for easy reheating! If you do manage to finish an entree in one sitting though, you will be stuffed! It wasn't mentioned on the menu, but there's steamed/sautéed cabbage under the meat. It looked a little deceiving because I thought it was just a huge pile of meat, only to find cabbage under. Thankfully, I love cabbage and appreciated that there were veggies to balance the heaviness of all the meat. That being said, there was still a lot of meat, just not as much as it looked like at first. They also give you little containers of sauce depending on which entree you get, which really enhanced the meal. If you get bbq beef or chicken, you get a delicious, sweet, Hawaiian bbq sauce. If you get the chicken katsu, you get a sauce that resembles sweet and sour. If you get a combo that has both bbq meat and chicken katsu, you get both sauces. I poured the sauce over the rice to season the plain white rice, then poured the rest on the meat even though it didn't really need it. BBQ CHICKEN: Moist, flavorful, and delicious!! Comes in small to large chunks. BBQ BEEF: Moist, flavorful, and delicious!! Comes in thin slices. CHICKEN KATSU: Moist! Fresh, crunchy breading! Tastes better with the sweet and sour-like sauce provided than on its own. KALBI SHORT RIBS: Delicious! Moist! Has fatty bits, unlike the bbq beef, which I really liked! Very similar, if not the same, flavor as the bbq beef. MACARONI SALAD: Delicious and flavorful! Tastes just like potato salad.

Their macaroni salad is absolutely creamy and full of flavor. It tastes so authentic that I always get an extra scoop. We don't mind the drive at all because the food and the service is absolutely worth it. They are always so sweet, attentive and kind. We always dine in and enjoy the decor and the vibe. They have a variety of canned drinks but honestly you have to try the Hawaiian sodas. They have a wide selection but I always get the passionfruit. So delicious and not overly sweet. It's pretty quiet and honestly they should have more dine in business because of how spacious the restaurant is and because of how sweet everyone is. But don't be mistaken, they get plenty of online orders because they are always busy with door dash. We love supporting good businesses and this one is definitely one we love showing support to. So if your looking for some really good food, make the drive to Aloha

Soda machine wasn't working and the ice tea was empty. Staff was friendly and let me exchange my ice tea for a canned soda. Took a lil bit for the food to come out. Meat was very flavorful and portion was very generous. Comes with a side of macaroni salad and rice. Spam masubi was on point. Pricey place but the portions are generous. Would recommend to try at least once.

The way you direct yourself towards customers outside the ordering register desk... it's amazing!! You have the customer service lots of places lack!! Honestly, if the owner is seeing this??!! He deserves a raise and much appreciation because he does put value to your place! Now.... The food was good! We had been looking for a Hawaiian bbq place like Cali and we found that Houston had an L&L so YES YES had to go try it out here in Houston!!! I ordered the katsu plate and the bbq ribs plate and ofcourse had to try the musubi chicken!! The katsu chicken is super crispy and the crunch was really good, dip it in the volcano sauce which I mixed with the sweet sauce..forgot the name lol I also ordered passion fruit drink! They were ok, I would love to see chunks of fruit!! Would be amazing The sauces are always great! And one new one we saw and enjoy a lot!! Was the VOLCANO spicy super spicy sauce but loved it, mix it with other sweet sauces and you got a tasty tangy sauce Ambiance is chill, would love to have some background music!!! That would be great!!

Everything tasted excellent, my personal favorite was the chili wings, incredibly crispy yet very saucy at the same time. My BMP calamansi margarita was distinct in its tanginess. Tried the veggie lumpias and brussel sprouts. The lumpias had tangy dipping sauce that might have been dominated by calamansi. More tang than savory. The brussel sprouts were standard but had a good portion. I tried to detect whether they used fish sauce but I couldn't tell. Ordered the daing na bangus (milkfish) as my entree. They gave me the whole fish and it threw me off that it was mostly deboned since I kept looking for the bones with my tongue and teeth. Fish was nice and crispy and the dipping sauce was more savory than what came with the lumpias. The garlic rice that came with the dish was smoky from that wok hay. Probably could have used a little more soy sauce for flavouring. My favourite dish was the turon dessert (fried bananas) along with the ube ice cream. The coconut sauce they used seemed more like caramel. I haven't eaten much Filipino food so I wasn't sure how authentic the dishes were. I was expecting a little more intensity in the flavours, and I don't know if it was toned down for their customers. There were around ten customers that night. The inside was beautiful and they have a two level patio that is perfect for nights like these. The service was very nice and the kitchen was faster than I expected.
