We've had our new Honda Pilot for 2 years and aside from total satisfaction with the car, I must…read moresay that Apple Valley Honda has been a straight-shooting and honest dealer with us, then and ever since. I've never been up-sold for repairs or services not needed. It's courtesy and integrity all the way! And what a pleasure to sit comfortably in the Customer Center, in plush furnishings with courtesy coffee, tea, water, and super-clean restrooms across the hall. I also appreciate the email reminders for services and other issues (recall alerts) when they come due. We're a completely satisfied customers!

My wife and I have been car shopping at every dealer in town and out of town. The lower rating here…read morewas not for the sales guy he was excellent but his hands are tied. The problem is all of their cars have unnecessary dealer markups for things that should be an option. We were looking at a 2024 Ridgeline and it had $3500 in tint, paint protection and other stuff the dealer put on. With the market like it is not sure this dealership is listening. Consumers don't want these dealer markups even if I did they are inflated. Perhaps since they are the only one in town people just pay it. The only option we had at Honda was to put down $1000 and wait for one to come as is from the manufacturer. Needless to say we wanted the Ridgeline but not all the complications. We left Honda and went to Toyota next door. We did buy a car and did not pay for a bunch of inflated dealer add ons I don't want. Sorry Apple Valley Honda you lost a sale because of these add ons.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of follow-through here. Over the weekend, I called, emailed,…read moreand texted multiple times to confirm a specific van was still in stock. I even offered to put down a deposit or purchase it outright over the phone to hold it. I was told this wasn't necessary -- that the van hadn't sold and wouldn't sell before my scheduled test drive appointment on Tuesday. The dealership is 3+ hours from where I live, so I planned my entire day around this appointment and called one more time before making the drive to confirm the van was still available. That's when I was told it had already sold. If a customer offers to pay over the phone to hold a vehicle and is told repeatedly that it's not needed, that should mean something. Instead, I wasted a weekend of communication and nearly a half-day round trip for nothing. If you're driving any real distance for a vehicle here, get everything in writing and don't take "you don't need to put money down" at face value.

Do not give your hard earned money to these clowns at Kelleher Motor, Andy specifically. After 2…read morehours of taking possession of a vehicle from Kelleher, the transmission blew out during our first drive. After returning the vehicle to the dealership for support, the vehicle was taken for diagnostics. Andy proceeded to then ignore countless phone calls and emails from us asking for updates and a resolution or even a simply acknowledgment with empathy for the situation. When we finally heard from him after his ghosting spree on day THREE, it was to simply terminate the sale on the vehicle because it evidently could not be resolved. We now have a hard pull against our credit from them, no car to show for it, and weeks of time wasted. It's astounding how little these people cared about the situation they put us in and the fact that they are clearly selling lemons to hard working members of our community. The owner of this dealership should be so embarrassed and ashamed of themselves for doing business like this, and employing salesmen like Andy.
