Warning: Predatory and exploitative behavior. Date of service: Dec. 15, 2022 Visited the shop at 8am for an inspection (very basic, to have a car used as an Uber/Lyft vehicle). Called ahead to confirm -- they said just bring it in, and that it was $25. When I arrived, I was greeted rudely by the guy that turned out to be the manager on duty that morning. He then informed me that it would be $30 rather than $25, and that he has to charge me for two inspections, for a total of $60 (note: when I later took it somewhere else, they confirmed that the only extra work required for the 'second' inspection was about 10 seconds for their mechanic to sign the second pre-filled form). Side note: the inspection criteria is basically making sure everything works, and confirming that the tires and brakes are good -- both of which had been replaced by Belle Tire in the past six months. It gets even better -- when I questioned it, the guy went back and grabbed my key, aggressively handed it to me, and said "this isn't worth my time," and told me to get out. Done with Belle Tire, and I wouldn't go anywhere near this place. The guy at the counter should also probably be in the back, not anywhere near customers, and definitely not managing a store. read more

My family has been utilizing this location for years, so I am sad to report recently discovering that their level of honesty/ethical code is lacking. I took my car in for a brake inspection/replacement quote after the dealers quote was astronomical (around $2,000). To my surprise, belle tire ended up quoting just about the same. They also told my that my brakes had 15% left, and needed to be replaced. Thankfully, I took my car to Calahans, who told me that my brakes actually had 30%, and wouldn't recommend changing them so soon if needn't be. In fact, the mechanic at Calahans said I may even have another year/10,000 miles until action would be necessary. Their quote for replacement was also closer to $1000 (I drive an Audi so yes this is still relatively high). Calahans also informed me that my car will let me know with a dashboard light when my brakes need to be replaced, and not to worry until this happens. This ended up saving me a lot of money right before the holidays, which I am extremely grateful for. Oh, I should also mention that my brother, who also drives an Audi just one year older than mine, actually previously had his brakes/rotors replaced at this location, and charged him SIGNIFICANTLY less. Like $600 less. I wonder why that could be (not). read more

How does a tire shop manage to put the wrong tire on a car? Doesn't seem like a difficult task to put the correct size on especially for a shop that does this for a living. The tire damaged my suspension and left burnt rubber debris in the wheel well. All I needed was a flat repair and was left with a 3-day ordeal of having to drive on my donut due to the replaced tire being too big to use. They didn't even tell me the tire was replaced nor documented that they changed it. Thankfully they eventually found my correct tire, however if they hadn't they were only going to replace the one lost tire and not replace the opposite tire as well which could result in dangerous imbalance due to tread differences. All they offered for compensation was a free oil change and tire rotation at the end. I'd give zero stars if I could. Will not be using another Belle Tire again. Awful value for a free flat repair if you ask me. read more

THE BEST EXPERIENCE!! Honestly, this Belle Tire has left me with such an appreciation for what an attitude of kindness and compassion can do! I called Belle Tire on Brown Road this morning to be sure my teen could bring in a new vehicle for its first oil change and tire rotation. Rob walked me through what my daughter could expect for wait time and assured me that they could set up the new vehicle on our account without me there. He added that he has young adult and understood her anxiety and would take good care of her! He gave me piece of mind as a parent and made me feel valued as a customer! Well, had my car here for a flat tire, which was handled and fixed... but asked for tired to be balanced and rotated because I have a wobble and didn't want to mess up my car worse but since I live on a dirt road I had dirt on my tires I was told it was "not worth the time to clean the tires off to do a balancing" so that was awesome Was NOT pleased and I had to leave with a worse wobble than then I got there. Would recommend NOT giving them your business. That was a real dick move. read more

When I asked for the battery test , I was told immediately it probably isn't the battery that I would need to pay $40 for a 30 minute diagnostic test. I said no I'm under warranty.... and the guy got very smart with me and .... right then ... I had A weird feeling. then 30 minutes later ... he comes and tells me it won't start ..and they jumped it and it still won't start. As I sit here waiting with my 82 year old mother ... Rude service, overpriced alignments. Service rep stated coupons for alignments were "a thing of the past" as were $60 alignments for simple jobs. When I showed him a 15% off alignments coupon on Belle Tire's website he said "well if you can get a code, I'll honor it." This is right after I agreed to an unexpected recommendation for 4 new tires. I told him to please honor it, code or not or stop the alignment and pull my order for tires. He laughed and said I was being "combative." Another service rep then stepped in and said they would be happy to honor the coupon, code or not. At least someone knows customer service there but it doesn't take the bad taste out of my mouth for this place. Never again. I called them at 3, trying to make an appointment so get my tire fixed because I got off work at 5 and they closed at 6. The guy over the phone told me that they don't do appointments , and I could just come there. I told him I didn't get off until 5 and he just said he wasn't sure how busy it would be at the time, so I go up there at 5 and he tells me that the guys in the garage are committed to finishing whatever they were working on until they close and to basically leave my car over night or he couldn't help me.... didn't even try, didn't even see if it was an easy fix, basically doesn't want to work at minute past his time so he turns customers away. read more

Salesman here don't have a very inviting look or attitude, gives off the vibe that they don't want to work on your vehicle. They have 4 guys just standing up front talking to each other not working and 2 guys out back in the garage running around trying to do all the work. Was quoted "about an hour" and you should be all set. After 2 hours my vehicle was finally brought into the garage. I understand business and sometimes people get busy. They were not busy. They made themselves seem busier than they are because they have 4 guys doing absolutely nothing and only 2 guys working on customer's vehicle. I was never told a price for the service I asked for. Just to have a seat and "give us an hour". Very unprofessional, slow service (caused by themselves) and a huge lack of communication to the customer. If it's gonna be more than an hour than be honest and tell the customer straight up. If I could give less than 1 star I would've. read more

This auburn hills location was not great customer service wise, i cant say how their vehicle repair service is. The guys at the service desk are rude. I have an Enterprise fleet vehicle and can only take the vehicle to certain places. I needed a simple repair, but I understand that enterprise can make requests for other fixes so i know it can be a little more time consuming. The one guy after mentioning the enterprise part did an eye roll and a snort/huff thing, then started on this whole... oh we are so swamped, then the other guys proceeded to be all "it can be very time consuming". I understand this all but they did not need to be rude. I will take my business elsewhere cause obviously they didnt want my business with the way they talked and acted towards me. read more

Came in to this location for a tire patch and after inspection it turns out I needed two new tires. Justin was super easy to work with, explained my options in a way I could understand (think: not at all car savvy), and helped me decide on some affordable tires. When he realized they didn't have those ones in stock, he gave me a few more options and helped me settle on an even better tire that was slightly above my price point, but he assured me he'd be able to keep it in my budget, even gave me a discount! Worst customer service ever. Have a flat tire yeaterday and i bought the tires from belle tires too. Took the tire in for a flat repair, took them 4 hours to fix my flat. After it's done they did not put the tire back on my car. Saying they are too busy to swap 1 tire back on my car and if i want it done. It'll be next day. We've been coming to this Belle Tire for most of our tire rotations for the last 2 years, and each time, the guys do quality work. Even during the times that I've come during lunch hour, they get me in and out within 30 minutes. Their time accuracy is on point, and very much appreciated when in a time pinch. In addition to their punctuality, they triple check to make sure all your lug nuts and screws are all tightened, and do a couple test drives before they release your vehicle back to you. I love that. I've been in a car before where the lug nuts were not tightened all the way, and consequently, you guessed it, the tire almost came off. No bueno. But you won't find that happening here. The professionalism is great, and when they are busy, they are BUSY. However, give them a call and they'll give you a good time assessment, and arrange things that work with your schedule. Bonus that they offer good new tire prices and warranty services and if you purchase with them, your tire rotations and balance are free! So if you're in the neck of the woods, check this Belle Tire location out. :) read more

Took my BMW there after the tire pressure sensor went off. They could have taken me for a ride by telling me the sensor was bad etc but found the problem and were very honest. I found myself with a dead battery at Costco at 6:00 on a cold rainy night. I was on hold with AAA for several minutes when I thought maybe Belle Tire can send someone over to jump the battery so I could get my car to the shop in time for them to install a new battery. Not only did they send someone to Costco to jump the battery, when that didn't work, they came back to Costco and installed a new battery in the parking lot. They did not have to do this, I have no doubt other places would have left me waiting one hour for AAA to tow my car to the shop and hope there was enough time to install a new battery before they closed. Justin and Jack and the rest of the team were so great to go out of their way to help me, I can't thank them enough! read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. Jackson Rd location in Ann Arbor is the worst. After spending over $2000 for tires and brakes, and waiting all day I started on my way home. After about 10 miles of easy driving, I came to a red light. As I approached the light I braked normally and the brakes locked up. I was traveling at 45mph on Dexter Pinckney Rd and when the brakes locked the car started spinning and I wound up in a ditch. I really wonder how they let the defective work out the door. Don't they check each other's work? Ya pretty much need brakes to work the way they're supposed to. Please avoid the Jackson Rd location of Belle Tire. Awful, terrible, worst workmanship I've ever seen. I hope the "technician" that worked on my car doesn't work there until he gets retrained. read more

I have been coming to Belle tire for years. I picked something up in my tire in the parking garage at work. Called the Rochester Michigan location snd they were wonderful patched my tire for free I work at a dealership and was blown away I didn't buy my tires there. the man helping me said we do that so you will buy tires here. I said thats awesome I will be back for an oil change. Took my car to the Novi Michigan location and got a synthetic oil change. I got new tires through my dealership snd at work picked up another nail in my tire Brought it to the Brown rd location in Auburn Hills the guy tells me it's 20.00 to patch my tire. This is not outrageous but the whole reason I go to Belle and am a loyal customer is because they do not charge to patch. I was immediately irritated because has this dummy not tried to take advantage of me. He would have unsold me a 100 dollar Mobile 1 synthetic oil change. Called Lake Orion store they said we don't charge for patching so guess what Brown rd location I will never be back and never refer anyone to you. BEWARE!!!! I took my daughter's car in to get all new tires at 8am. Went to work and had her stay there and waited for them to finish. 11am, it was still not done. So at lunchtime, I decided to stop by and see what was the holdup. By that time, they were done. Went to pay and they had took advantage of my 18 year old daughter. They sold her anything and everything they got on the shop (just saying)...... A ~$500 tire change came out to be ~$1400 tire change!!!
