This location sucks and they don't want to be responsible for the work they provide. Customer service is horrible, so is the wait time.

I had slow leak on my front tire, Took it down to Avondale DT. I was greeted by John, told him what was going on. He took down the info. Within 30 mins, my car ready to go. They remove my spare, put on the repaired tire, and put the spare back in place. I was very please. The crew was friendly and professional. I figure I was going to be there for hours..................I will use DT for my future tiire needs...........You made my day! read more

Orlando and the team here are top notch! I am super picky about the quality of work and these guys exceeded my critical expectations. I had a flat repair on a nice 20" alloy wheel. Actually I had five nails and two actually punctured. They diagnosed and then repaired the two punctures timely and with care. When Chuck went to hand me the keys I noted that I still needed to settle up for the repair and they noted "no charge". Wow, I was floored. I went to this Discount Tire for a basic balance/rotation service and was impressed by their professionalism and reasonable pricing. The mechanic who assisted me offered good insight into the condition of my tires and seemed honest. Normally I would give Discount Tire a more favorable rating as I have been going to this company for more than 20 years and have received excellent service. Unfortunately, I just moved and am now using a different location. Although the work was done promptly, The unfortunately stripped one of my lugs, admitted the mistake, and sent me to one of the Network Alignment locations to get it repaired at no cost. Unfortunately, even with it being no cost, I am still out 3 hrs of wait time added to yet another visit to get my balance done on the tires. I feel that they should have at least given me a decent discount on a future set of times when that time comes. I have never had this problem in all of the 20 yrs of coming to DT and hopefully I won't have to go through it again. A VERY long wait to get the wheel fixed and two appts for balance. Although nothing was done to make up for the lost hours, the sales staff were very nice and professional. read more

First off I would like to say if I could rate them no stars I definitely would. I went in today and the first thing I saw was a line out the door and an angry customers saying they have been there since 11 AM (it was almost 4pm when I arrived), I went in to have a fairly new tire patched because there was a nail in it (NOT IN THE SIDE WALL). I told the technician specifically not to touch my tire if they couldn't replace it, I told them not to put the spare on and leave it alone if they cannot repair it. While I was there we discussed tires for my other vehicle, we agreed and were going to pick up the vehicle with the nail and drop the other off to get a new set. I arrived back there approximately 1 hour later to swap vehicles. The technician hurried along and gave me my keys to the car I was picking up, I saw something on the paperwork in his hand that said something about a "spare" so I decided to go out and take a look. When I went out they had my F****** spare on my car, they did the exact opposite of what I asked. The guy said he was sorry and told them not to do that and that he would have it fixed. I went back in and some fat rude old guy came out and told me he could "order my tire", shocking! I bet he can, but here's the deal, I don't need a new tire, all I need is a damn patch. I was going to give them my business but after that I got my keys to both vehicles and left. I will NEVER do business with them again. I understand that they are "liable" after taking the tire off, but if they would have examined the tire on the lift prior to taking it off they could have determined that and simply said they wouldn't patch it. I probably would have even bought the tire there and waited a week for it to come in. I would have definitely got the other set there, but after that; never again. Oh and by the way the lady that had been there since 11am, was still there, the only thing they offered her was dinner for her inconvenience. I have been a Discount Tire person for over 20 years. Today, no more. I went in to get a tire repaired. Tire had less than 1000 miles. I pickup a small nail in the center of the tire. Not wanting to let the weight of the car to mess up the side walls of the tire I placed a plug in the tire, so it would hold air till the next morning. I removed the tire and took it to Discount Tire to have a stem patch put on the tire. The Service guy told me that they could not repair the tire because of the plug. I would need to replace the tire. What is important, I fully understand that a plug is not an acceptable tire repair, the reason I took the tire to Discount. The explanation given to me, plugs are not an acceptable repair so they will not repair the tire. Another important note, the tire never left the garage. So when one brings a warranted tire back to Discount with a bolt the size of your thumb in the tire they repair verse replace, but will not fix a new tire with a small plug. I really hate it when I'm bulls****d so a company can sell you stuff you don't need. read more
