This is my second 5 star review for this place. My other one was one year ago. They get another 5 star because today I took my van in because for the past 2 weeks my tire pressure light has been going on and off. I took it in Les Schwab 2 weeks ago(I live out of town and there is a LS there) and I notcied a HUGE gash in my tire. LS assured me it wasn't that gash that was causing my light, supposedly my tire was coming off my rim? And was leaking. I was like 'huh?' so anyways I left LS and for the past 2 weeks the light has been coming on again but going off. So today it's on all day. And my tire is looking low. I drive all the way to discount tires, because I'm done going to LS. One nice guy looks at the hole and he's like 'yea that's a leak'. So for two whole weeks. I've been driving with a freaking giant gash in my tire that's been leaking. So discount tire fixed my tire and I was on my way within 20 minutes. I can almost put my money on this. If I went back to LS today, they would have tried to sell me a new tire. As much as I can, I will be taking my business to discount tire! They also have free flat repar and you are in and out MUCH faster. Thank u! read more

I purchased a new set of tires and rims from this location. One tire was leaking air the day I had them installed. I thought no big deal I could just take it back to them and have the leak fixed. The leak was being caused by a screw in the tread. Adam Lujan from Discount Tire told me they would be unable to repair the tire and I would need a new one. This didn't sound right to me but I made the mistake of trusting him and ordered a new tire. I consulted a friend who used to work at a tire company afterward and he said the tire could have been easily fixed. Why Adam Lujan would take a customer that was perfectly happy and con them into buying a tire that wasn't needed is a bit baffling to me. Sure he made a few extra bucks that day but he also lost someone who would have been a repeat customer. I highly recommend NOT doing business with this company. read more

Very nice fast and efficient but be for warned they talk fast and try and convince you to buy more than needed just know your tires or have someone who dies go in with you I would love an honest mechamic or tire person but i guess everyone needs to make s buck Just know what you need and want and they are a good price read more

So I just went to them yesterday to get my studded tires put on the car. They underinflated my tires. My tire specs say max infl. 50psi. I checked the tires this morning and not one tire was above 35psi. My wife called them and the assistant manager insisted the workers followed procedure and they did nothing wrong and insisted that our tire pressure is supposed to be 35psi. I couldn't get ahold of them via phone which was annoying but at the same time understandable because they were so dang busy! We ended up going again today later and they told us to just leave the car and a key. I made an appointment for my winter tire change over. I was told it would be 90 minutes from the time someone came to my car. Half an hour later still waiting for someone to come to my car. You cannot leave and come back later. Remind me what the heck making an appointment is for???!!! read more

Bought $1625 worth of tires from Discount Tire online. Had them mounted at Discount Tire in Bend Oregon today. Everything seem to be working out great until I got home and noticed that one of the wheels had been badly scratched and the protective coating gouged around the middle of the wheel. Looked like metal on metal damage (Very obvious Not a curb rash). Called them, then immediately drove back to the store. Spoke to the manager, Chris. He looked at them and declared there was nothing they use that would do that kind of damage And took no responsibility for the damage. I took in 4 perfect rims and came home with only 3. Only reason I went there in the first place, was because Les Schwab had long back orders on the tires I wanted. I won't ever make that mistake again! America's Tire used to be my go-to for all things Tire. Unfortunately my last visit I had the worst service ever a three-hour wait time for tires and discovered yesterday that these bunch of knuckleheads filled the tires on my truck to 70 pounds. I don't know if they're just spiteful little children or are completely inept at their jobs 70 lb per tire is extremely dangerous the shop really needs to get it together. IV been going here for years , iv bought tires from them and rims. I have an account thru them so it makes it easy to buy tires. They do free rotation , free brake inspection everything they rock . Im always in and out of there within an hour ! I will continue to be a customer here! read more

At 8AM when they open, they do not have a way of differentiating between who is there with an appointment and who is a walk-in. (And a walk-in's seem to be anyone that was outside well before the doors opened and put their name on a list.) It is a gaggle to say the least. Even those with appointments were standing around waiting to be helped and not sure when help would come. The check in process is very slow and clunky. The desk folk have to go out to the parking lot to get mileage. A legal need I guess but it drags the slow process even slower. And oh, the stupid customer questions! Worst! They won't answer their phones during the day. Six hours later I wanted to know if my car was done and had to keep calling and calling for an hour til someone picked up and provided me with an update. And that news was terrible. 8 AM drop off, maybe 6:30 PM pick up! And I was an early walk-in. Not impressed with any part of this experience. When they are busy, all suffer. read more

The guys at most Discount/America's Tire are good. The ones at the Bend OR store in North Bend are great! About 200 miles into our 3000 mile road trip we had to replace our tire that was an uncommon size and had to be ordered a day before, we were running late and wouldn't get to the store till 5min after they closed, 2 of the guys stayed and switched out the tire and got us on our way! Today was my first visit. I bought 2 tires. The staff was courteous and helpful. It took less than an hour for tire work and the price was fabulous! My car sat out front with it's new tires ready to go. I enjoyed the entire experience. read more

I went to this tire place and bought two trailer tires for 160$ and had them installed on rims, I left Saturday morning with the trailer made it about 90 miles and the first tire popped so I put on the spare and continues to my destination, on the way back home The second new tire popped and this time it damaged the rim, at this point I had to call a rollback tow truck and have the trailer towed home which cost me about $260 so now I am out two new tires one rim and $260 tow bill I brought the tires back into discount tire and the best they told me they could do is Sell me two more tires but knock off $50, both these tires had less than 200 miles on them both of them popped and left me stuck on the side of the road and they wouldn't even warrantee the tires they sold not only is this extremely unacceptable business practice it's also criminal, I will never buy anything from the store again all my business will be going back to Les Schwab read more

Very poor! I was in at 930 am, they told me it would be a couple hours and they would call me when I was next in line. After 4 hours I finally called them back and they said there was 3 cars ahead of me so bring it down. I get here at 145 and they tell me I'm next and it should only take 20 minutes, here I am at 315 and they just now pulled my truck in. WASTED HOURS of my day, not happy with discount tire!!! read more

Best place to buy tires. Adam and RJ are very knowledgeable and dedicated to exceptional customer service. I was a long time Les Schwab customer. Anytime I thought i found a better deal, they beat it. I have lots of vehicles and I go to them for all of them. When you leave their store, you'll feel like you got a good deal. Everytime I go there, they exceed my expectations. For now, they have all of my business. It's nice not having to shop at a ton of places for the best quote. I am the type that shops all options for 3 hrs to save 50$. Now, I see if the internet has better deals after their quote. I always find that they beat Internet prices, if not, they are comparable. Except, they install them, service and warranty them. They also gave me a military discount for being a veteran. It's a no brainer. This has been my experience since Brian was the old manager (over two years). I wish they did brakes and suspension too, I love saving money. Sorry Schwab, your 50k toyo tires only last 25k and you suggest I replace them??? So I pay to mount, balance and warranty them again?... sniff, sniff..... scam. Your popcorn isn't THAT good. I moved here about a year ago and I needed to find a good tire store. I purchased new tires on EBay than I made an appointment with Discount Tire to install them on my car, they were right on the time they gave me to install them. Since than I purchased another set of new tires on EBay the seller was Discount Tire and I got the same treatment as the first appointment. I would highly recommend them. read more

Even tried to make an appointment just to send a note to have someone call me, which didn't work....could set a date, but time didn't work. After noticing a leak in our spare tire for our RV my husband and I stopped in to buy a replacement. RJ was able to patch it for us while we waited. They were quick, provided excellent customer service and had us back on our trip in less than a half hour. read more

service is slipping. They used to be great. So, I made an appointment on line to have winter tires changed over. The appointment was made on their new customer account feature. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment they couldn't find my appointment. Maybe if I leave the car they can get to it sometime or make another appointment. It was curious that there was very little business and they couldn't work me in. Anyway be very, very careful making an appointment online because it may not work and you can waste a trip to Discount Tire the way I did. read more

Twice now, I've gotten quotes on the phone for a certain tire, then when I got to the shop, they didn't have the tire and tried to sell me an upgrade. The time it took to get my car in, tires mounted, and me out the door isn't worth as much as I saved by shopping here. read more

This is the best tire shop in Bend for sure. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have purchased 4 or five sets of tires from here. They always arrive fast and are very competitive with prices. The wait can be longer but worth it. They also install winter tires for us. The only thing I would change is a better waiting room. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They push things you don't want and are the slowest ever and they say 20 min and that means about 2 hours. they are complicated and very annoying. Stick with good old less Schwab. Only reason we went here is cause a friend let us use his card here. Won't be going back again! read more

I have been a valued customer for years and years. Yes they have great tires and prices, but I have never been able to get my tires rotated with out a 4 hour wait. They tell you to come 15 minutes early in the morning before opening and I did and sat with 26 cars ahead of me. Wait in the cold then rush to 2 dudes working the computer. It's a huge waiting game with no room to sit or wait. I could go on. I have a nail in my tire as well and they can fix that in an open bay but then 4 hour or come back again for the rotation. That's part of the customer service that comes with purchase there. You just can not do it with out a drop off. However winter tire change overs re priority all the way into May. I will pay the extra and go to Les Schwabb where you just get taken care of with out all he hassle. read more

Ordered tires online and the website said it would take 5 days for them to show up. Fair enough. They called me on Friday to tell me they arrived, and I made an "appointment" for the following Monday to have them installed. I arrived prior to the appointment time. Even though I had an "appointment", I still had to wait an hour and a half before they were done. It only took them 15 minutes to do the job; my car spent the first 75 minutes sitting in their parking lot. What a JOKE; their "appointment" system is meaningless. 'might as well just be a walk-in. Or next time I'll just order them on tirerack.com and have a mobile installer come to my house. read more
